Not only did we get three new CCTV camera scenes, but we also got some more files that give us more info on experiment 1006, Theodore, Catnap and more!
As usual, I give my thoughts, theories and analysis of the new information.

Fun fact: Whatever a cat can fit its head through, it can fit its entire body through.
That means we aren't safe from catnap even in small spaces unless catnap cannot fits its head through
Tbh catnap‘s head is enormous so we should be safe in theory
@@claramiegler Not really, it’s said that catnap can change size as in going from a normal sized toy, like the one crawling around, to as big as the giant catnap we see starring at the camera. So hiding from catnap might not be as easy as we think.

The more I think about it, I'm starting to wonder if Catnap is really evil or even antagonistic on purpose. In the reports, it says Catnap is shy and skittish which checks out with the CC cameras. Like a cat, he perches on top in the darkness like he's wary of something. I know we've been told that the Smiling Critters are "Helpful" but I'm almost wondering if Catnap will actually be a protagonist instead. His behavior is also known to be erratic and unstable and we have this purple hand. What if he expels this red gas when in high stress and its up to us to calm him down? They mentioned that this chapter would be more emotional, I imagine forming a bond with one of these toys is what's in store.
Oh, I actually love that idea! And considering the implication that Catnap used to be Theo - a child, who was probably scared and confused -, it'd make sense. Maybe he'll start out in the position of the Antagonist, but over the course of the game comes to trust the PC.
That would be an amazing twist. I do think Catnap will be the antagonist, but that comment makes me think it won’t be immediately. Maybe Catnap is content just watching from a distance and doing whatever it normally does. But then we start ti get close to 1006. Because of how much Catnap seemingly worships the prototype, perhaps it becomes hyper aggressive and territorial towards it’s saviour
I feel like odds are, we are going to use Catnaps' help by luring hostile dolls near Catnap hole

@@hybrid5860 My idea is definitely far fetched, i do realize it, however I do think somewhere in the game we're going to learn that Catnap is not the antagonist in some form. The fact that he's always edited out of things or glitched out tells me that Play co treated him like a failed experiment of some kind. The way we see Playcare in shambles makes me feel like Catnap was push to extreme measures of distress and I feel like it was both due to Play co and 1006's influence onto him. i think all Catnap/Theo wanted was to follow someone who had his best interest at heart, and that's going to be the tear jerker. I also can't help but wonder if Catnap is emotionally invested in the smiling critters. We see the other toys that are not exclusively smiling critters such as small Huggys, Brons, and boogybots get attacked. i think Catnap sees those mascots and people as the "heretics" because for him and the rest of the smiling critters that were transformed into toys, those mascots are what lured them into the factory. Even if they might be other children, it might be an involuntary trigger of distress.
So Catnap really just walked over to the Prototype and was like: "You're now my dad lol"
It's really interesting to see more into the Prototype's personality from *this* perspective. Our first impression of him was through the fear of Mommy and the scientists, and so we immediately braced for a terrifying heartless enemy, but here...he seems to be so much more, so much *better* than he was painted before. Catnap trusted him, both as Theodore and as a toy, and the Prototype didn't betray that trust. He *went back* for him to bring him to the scientists and save him instead of escaping like he wished, he gave up on his freedom for this boy. I was not expecting him to have a genuinely good relationship with any of the toys, yet here we are. The relationship between those two is crawling up to become my favourite quite quickly.
That’s what the prototype does. He’s a manipulator and in turn, only wants as many bodies as possible, no matter the cost to complete his true form and lead others into suffering for his own benefit. At the end of the day, all he cares for is…himself.
There are 2 possibilities.
1. 1006 tried to escape but failed. He hates Playtime Co. because of their experiments. He knows the other toys are orphans which he felt bad. So whenever they die, he stole their body and make them apart of him so they could escape together.
2. He simply use the dead toys for his advantage. To grow big and strong so that he can escape easily. And him being nice to Theodore is him being a manipulator.

@@Illuminuos Or it might be that 1006 (and perhaps other employees including Stella) see the toy conversion as a GOOD thing and the real problem being that Playtime Co wants the results to be violent or obedient. 1006 and its followers might want toy conversions that maintain the free will of the original subject which would still allow the resulting toys to see 1006 as a 'Savior' because it frees them from Playtime Co's manipulation after they become big and strong.
The lore of this game gets more and more interesting the more things are revealed. Like 1006 is made to look like a cold, calculated killing machine but is revealed to care for Theodore/CatNap. There are layers to everything we thought we knew up until now and it makes me more excited for chapter 3 as well as future chapters
I hope catnap doesnt have any voice lines. Just a quiet killer. Adds more to the scaryness of his character. Nothing wrong with mommy long legs having voice lines. But tbh huggy wuggy was more scarier just cause he was a silent killer imo

Nah an off camera soliloquy in song form about either 1006 or the general hour of joy would be even creepier especially if they hid catnap close but in an inaccessible area to the player.

I’m starting to think that Catnap isn’t the bad guy he’s made out to be. They’re making that plot point too obvious and that stands out. I feel like they’re up to something and I can’t wait to see what that something is!
It seems like he's just carrying out plans for the prototype. It's implied they met back when Catnap was still a human orphan so whatever 1006 got into his head would have been very impressionable.
I agree with you, the game increasingly gives the impression that the toys are not the villains, but the factory employees. Which makes me think that the protagonist is a villain, he is invading the "children's home" and killing them one by one...
Yeah, we’re definitely the bad guy here. Plus, they didn’t reveal that Marie Payne was an orphan until Project Playtime. A lot of people I know originally thought she was an employee who defied the company, like Patty Hall or Rowan Stoll.
Catnap was Theodore afterall, who is a child. He probably doesn't understand what's going on after becoming Catnap and only follow 1006

I wonder if the rest of the smiling critters will be small and only catnap is the huge one or if they have the same ability to grow/shrink to 1/3 of their size like catnap. Seeing Bobby bearhug crawl is in that hallway was cool and the beading eyes of catnap was pretty creepy.
My guess is they will act as alarms and alert Catnap of there being someone nearby
I can't remember if the bear was the brave one or if it was the dog. I feel like one of them may not want to be a part of catnaps plan.

The only thing that confirmed so far is that Catnap is apart of Bigger Bodies Initiative which would explain why Catnap can change size. I doubt the other critters are apart of BBI tho

Wait, I have another theory, what if the red gas is the only thing that can help us survive throughout the game, what if it only is used for putting the other toys to sleep and stop them from causing damage to us ,player, what do you think about it, are we players helping the wrong side or something really bad will happen, plot twist coming soon
Why do I feel like the order the descriptions were shown is the same order we see them (Bubba Bubbaphant being first) and catnap being the last and hardest boss until The game end.

Another hint/confirmation that Theo is cat nap could be the fact that in that drawing with 1006's arm under the bed, Theo is drawn in purple. The same purple as CatNap.
I actually noticed that while editing this one! It was too late at night to record more to add in though.
Also when they were choosing who was going to be 1188 (Catnap) Theodore was on the list
I wonder if in this chapter we’ll see 1006’s influence over CatNap? CatNap seemed to be bonded with 1006 + scientists noted how he followed 1006 around, and how he could possibly be influenced by him. So maybe sometimes CatNap acts how he originally did in front of the kids, being a little skittish but overall friendly, but when influenced, he’s a lot scarier and mean.
I'm going to guess this is how he ends up playing out. It even points out he's shy and skittish, those are definitely not feats an antagonist would have. I'm assuming he only gets agro when he's told to. I'd be shocked if we didn't get an actual point before the hell breaks lose where he's friendly.
Idk but this just came to my head, since Catnap has very sharp claws, seen in the trailer, in the cctvs he is seen hanging around in the ceiling, maybe he uses his claws to grip to objects/walls/ceilings like those climbing boots with spikes in the bottom, not sure what to call them though (also catnap's head is seen twisting and rotating, maybe he can rotate his head around, like an owl) ALSO AND THE GRAPHICS AND DETAILS IN THE CCTVS ARE SO DETAILED AND INSANELY GOOD

Any of you feel like the charms, for the toys, they look like zippers? And also I have a theory that maybe in the game every scent that comes out of the critters are poppies, because underground they were all switched to poppies
for the zippers, I believe it’s for the parents to replace the scents after they wear out
Yeah, they are, and each scent for the critters is different. (At least they were at a point) Mob made a post for each on their twitter, and some scents relate to sleep or helping sleep. Such as lavender for catnap, and vanilla for DogDay.

I think the smiling critters work like a rat king, let me explain; if you’ve seen Coriline you might be familiar with the Other Mr. B. If you’re not familiar the reason why I bring it up is because when the other mothers world starts to fall apart you see Other Mr. B’s coat and pants get filled with and moved by rats (it’s creepier than what you think) I believe that there’s manny small Smiling Friends that crawl into the suit or skin of a hollowed out/dead/suit version of their Biger Body Initiative counter parts. TLDR I have a theory that a group of small smiling friends join together to become a larger more intimidating smiling friend

I honestly didn't think the scent of Lavender was out of place for CatNap. Lavender is a calming smell, and a lot of people use the scent to help them go to sleep.That password would have never crossed my mind at all lol

Speaking of hands working as access passes, do we know what happened to the one that Mommy Longlegs swiped in Chapter 2?
The most interesting thing about the prison corridor to me is actually the size of the keyholes. They look like they would fit gigantic children's toy keys instead of any kind of normal key. A bit unusual for the company to use this mechanism when hands-on-sensor-panels is something more from the 00s than even the 90s.
They said this chapter might get emotional for some……I’m worried about that.
Fuck I’ve just realised bro … “the prototype he saved me I rejoice in him” theadore is cat nap, saved his life remember , so cat nap clearly in the end has gone rouge after being turned into a toy and has lost himself , his identity , his life , think of the animatronics in fnaf theyre not just upset because they’re dead / a a toy but they don’t even know who they are anymore , so yes it will be emotional as in the end we probably really aren’t going to want to kill catnap but will have no choice / or 1006 will have no choice …
My only theory: 1006 is an A.I based on Elliot. A soul copy.
The original is dead and the copy was imprisoned in the most uncapable body, to serve as the creative mind behind the sucess of Playtime Co, while Stella and Leith do their stuff by themselves, with no interference and no association whatsoever.

It was literally a jumpscare to me when Tericho mentioned it 😭
I really love these characters. When I first saw Catnap I thought it was Candy cat and I was super exited to kill them at the end of the chapter like we did to the other two main antagonist. The sad thing is I really don't want to kill any of the smiling critters! I don't care if they're evil, these are my second favorite characters in Poppy playtime and I really don't want to kill any of these smiling dudes.
I betchu that machine in the cctv footage might have something to do with the production of the Poppy gas, since Catnap has two options for his consistent use of his poppy gas attack: they were able to make the BBI toy naturally produce the gas, OR Catnap has to be "refilled" with the solution whenever he starts running out (cause I highly doubt they would keep him attached to the machine with tubing, if they want him to be free-roam). Catnap is essentially a fog machine or humidifier, and those machines require water or whatever solution needed to work, so Catnap must have a poppy gas refill necessity. The fact that the machine is still running means that Catnap might still be actively getting his gas supply, and I wonder if that might tie into an attack plan against him somehow....
If we attack him at all, to be fair. If it were me, I'd immediately give him a snuggle cause he looks like he needs some TLC and maybe a good cup of hot chocolate. Catnap is my baby, I love,,,,

What if the kids are not sleeping and they are dead? What if the white mist was some type of sleeping gas but the Red mist was used to kill them and that's why there is screaming. I would think that there would also be signs of the kids dying like foaming at the mouth or seizures or something like that from.

This seems to prove that there are more sides than just one in the factory because Catnap is working with 1006 and mommy long legs wasn't and Poppy is probably working for herself, but we don't know if 1006 or Poppy are working for anyone bigger and we don't know who there working with and what are there objectives.

I am guessing you'll have to not get caught when you are exploring the area just like in fnaf security breach and keep yourself scarce from getting caught by catnap.

I feel like the only friendly Critters that will see in Chapter 3 who will probably be able to help us deal with Catnap or in general Might just Bobby Bearhug (🐻❤️), Crafty Corn (🦄🎨) and Kickin-Chicken (🐥). Because looking back and forth at their symbols and their Species ( Specifically the 🦄 for species and Symbols for the 🧸 &🐥) they really have more meaning and since Chapter 3 is doing the whole Clut😈 thing, I honestly believe they’ll be in chapter 3.

BUT THATS JUST A THEORY, A GAME THEORY-
I wonder if the other smiling critters will not get as big as Catnap but that we may have to avoid them because they will be like an alarm system to Catnap. If they are patrolling the rooms and halls and we encounter one they may make a noise or something that lets Catnap know where we are, like the security bots or the mop bots in Security Breach.
Maybe the corridor that seemingly shows nothing hints to the way we get rid of catnap.

Omg when I originally saw the CCTV I thought cat nap was hanging from the ceiling. That’s why his moon charm was so low. Now I realize that he is standing, and that even his model is exactly like his toy. That he isn’t hanging, the reason the moon charm is that low was because of his mouth and the size of it. That is scary as hell.😨😰😰😰😰😰
Yeah it's so hard to tell since it's so dark and full of static. I originally thought the moon charm was a claw.

Idk if anyone have mentioned this but I found one thing very interesting, the trailer, the latest one, have some children’s photo with it. In the corner of those photo frame there are some cut in half animal dolls parts, which if you look at the smiling critters, their bodies actually matches with the photo of the child’s frame. So Is this a sign that the children are also the smiling critters? I think so. Correct me if wrong.
Maybe catnaps gas makes the smiling critters grow and get aggressive
7:01 i think it is an opstical we need to go through. And those compressors will kill us if we stand there for long. Maybe this will be a chase scene place.where we will have to run from catnap or huggy or even experiment 1006 the prototype. We are not sure yet but we will know. But i think it is an opstical that will try to stop us. Like in chapter two there were big and deep holes that you had to jump through to escape mommy
When the Smiling Critters cartoon came out, I had a thought regarding the game trailer. Do you think that the toys pictured on the picture frames could be a Smiling Critter the children align with instead of other Playtime toys?

I don't know about that. Mommy Long Legs was of being a "part of him". There is also the possibility that 1006 is only using Catnap and the other toys for his own needs. After all it does not seem to mind that Catnap worships him.
Maybe we're the bad guys here as we used to be a scientist doing all these inhumane experiments and now we've come back for whatever reason when all the toys just want to be left alone and not be experimented on anymore

Theres a thing with me and poppy playtime. I start watching these when I see them on my home page and get really into the next chapter, thenbi watch someone play it. And them I just don't put much interest into it anymore. Then it all rotates back when a new chapter comes out-
Maybe that open cage is where the prototype was kept, that chap 2 vhs tape said it broke out of its cage and disassembled a security camera

I'm very surprised to know that by march 1991 exp 1006 its still captive and allowed to be with the other experiments and he's not even considered Dangerous or problematic. In chapter 2 we know that at some point he was in solitary confinment and surveiled 24/7. Nobody noticed he was missing and recognized him while he was plotting an escape with Theodore? Furthermore the dating of the theodore accident in the 1989 means that the Prototype predates the bigger bodies initiative. My theory its that 1006 its not a bigger body but a small toy, the claw arm its part of an humanoid exoskeletron he built for himself to plan his escape undercover
It just suddenly donned on me an this probably goes in line with your Theory on poppy being a killer doll😅 what if poppy is the the voice/ one behind the messages about the hour of joy and the hand/1006 is a red herring we see poppy can communicate through the tapes like at the start of chapter 2 with the mommy long legs tape just like with the arg, and I brought this part up before on a different channel but if the hand goal was to escape why did it stay and assimalted other toys like mommy long legs into itself, in fact none of these toys seem to want to get out like before despite being the factory being down for 10 years.
I must admit, that a part of me feels like make the prototype may have planned for Theodore to get electrocuted the entire time and that's why he had no problems returning Theodore to the scientists.
I believe that Theodore would have known about it too and wasn't just betrayed and unknowing. I think he went along with with the whole plan knowing he was going to be electrocuted and turned into a giant toy
Interesting thought: kids that misbehaved were used to make the Smiling Critters crew but the kids personalities carried over causing them to still act out as toys and they were locked in the cells and Catnap came and rescued them much like in the VHS when the Critters couldnt sleep/were scared until Catnap showed up

These chapters seem to be getting scarier and scarier. Chapter 2 was way scarier than chapter 1 and it looks like chapter 3 is gonna be scarier than both c1 and 2 combined.
Maybe like that big platforming thing is like you have to run away from catnap and at the end he gets crushed by one of the platforms or something.

The first thing I thought of seeing the video of that corridor we've seen the screenshot of is 'pistons' the rising and lowering cyclindrical items look exactly like the design of pistons from an engine. Yes I agree this may be a video showing that there with me a parkour style section, jumping across platforms etc. But I think it could be a section of engine rooms, massive machinery you platform across, machinery that is pumping the gas all around the factory/building. All the wires and pipes around the walls would be powering the huge engine thats pumping the gas!
I think Catnap looks at the camera because maybe there is another room for the orphans like there is more than one sleeping area.
With the cameras, he can see if some children are awake so he knows if he has to release the gas.

Those machines moving up and down are Pistons. There could still be something out of the ordinary inside it, But i think its just the inner workings of a piston

I believe Cat Nap is the leader of a cult that worships the Prototype as their savior for freeing them. The other members include all the other smiling critters and they may also be addicted to Cat Nap's smoke which is why their so loyal. Perhaps existence is pain for them and they want to stay asleep but are woken up whenever Cat Nap needs their assistance. They will go to whatever lengths to do his bidding just so they can sleep again. Also, instead of chasing the player Cat Nap might stalk them, using the gas to mess with their head so they are easy prey for the others
At 9:50 in the file when its talking about the red mist for catnap, it says "the stuff coming out isn't the usual clear mist,". So does that mean the toys are advertised as having "scented mist" come out of their mouths. and since each one of the smiling critters has a different scent, does that mean in chapter three they will each possibly have their own form of mist each with different effects? If i had to make a theory for a new minigame it would probably be :
Hide And Run!
4 Critters (Dogday, Catnap, CraftyCorn, and PickyPiggy) will be the 4 Seekers and chase after you, every seeker has a trick to make them easily win (PickyPiggy can smell your scent but has a terrible vision, Dogday will copy a hiders voice to lure someone but sometimes it wont work and you'll just hear Barks, Catnap will- -. ..- -. / .- .-- .- -.-- / .--. .-.. . .- ... ., and last CraftyCorn will throw her crayon at a random place, and if you accidently hid in that place, you might feel a slight strike on the head, but if you dont, Congratulations! 8 more minutes and you'll survive!)
As the Hider, you must hide in every place you can, under the giant desk, behind the trashbags, and if you need to, run inside the jail cell though, it may stink corpses, the seekers might be small, but they're wicked, stay on your toes for 8 minutes, and switch places if you can because the seekers will eventually find your hiding spot.
I wonder if the caged cell bays are for holding the kids that are going through the toy change in the more advanced part of the process before the actual move to toy. They also look like an old fashoined psych ward and the kids were having bad mental health, 🐼✌️ also love the vid and all the theories you've had. 😊
It's a good theory for how they kept Subjects detained in Previous Experiments, before the Later Waves of the Bigger Bodies Initiative. After the Poppy Gas was Perfected, these Cells would no longer be needed since the Subjects would already be pre-prepared for Conversion by the Gas...

I don’t have any current knowledge on ch4, however I theorize that we will face the abandoned toys locked away in storage b (where we see kissy before being loaded onto the train), and when boxy boo attacks Bron. I think that for ch4 the enemy’s could be: Boxy boo, Daisy, Candy Cat, Cat bee, and Boogie Bot. Although the prototype may have already captured and killed them to make them “apart of him”. Boxy boo is considered a leader to these forgotten toys and leads them on a monstorous rampage against the employees (aside from the others) in Playtime Cos factory. Like this if you like my ideas. 😊

I just realized the doors behind next to catnap. Isn't that the same prison doors on the second camera footage? I'm not a info addict on Poppy playtime but, is it keeping catnap or something inside the room?
Based off what ive read online its implies that the other toys locked catnap inside playcare back when they first revolted against the factory staff in the 90s. Catnap based off descriptions was very loyal to the staff and always carried out their orders, id imagine the poppy gas would be a big threat too so. Something else thats interesting is some toys(mommy long legs most specifically) seem very afraid of 1006. And we know from the ARG catnap is likely his servant, so that could also be a reason the other toys felt the need to imprison him.
@@JuanitoEsBonito I don't think so. It's heavily implied that the exp 1006 is who led the toy rebellion, if 1006 don't mind catnap following him then the toys have no reason to try to stop him.
@@XxX-wwbut it's also implied that the toys fear 1006, if an experiment is trying to collect your parts and make some giant mass of them I'd probably be weary of anyone on its side. There's a huge gap between the rebellion and now some toys could have easily defected from 1006 and switched sides.
@@JuanitoEsBonito True, but it seems like that happened in the time between the rebellion and the player coming back to the factory, also if 1006 is friendly with 1180 I don't think there had been anyone to imprison him during or after that event.
Probably not since the factory is shut down I’m sure the toys can do whatever they want now

It could just be the lighting but the fact they look like numbers feels intentional somehow
I saw what looked liked numbers in the static. Although at this point, a lot of the theory community dismisses anything in the static without even looking, so good luck discussing that one 😅
