You asked and I delivered. I got to work on this one right after uploading the first one, and good thing that one turned out popular! This even longer second part features some of the planes I didn't get to mention the first time around, and some of your suggestions too!
I really hope you enjoy this one, and appreciate the effort this took - I am not bragging but after 12 hours non stop making this thing, I feel like I should!

The ME-163 on it's way to try and land on a YB-49
The Canadian Avro Arrow definitely deserves a spot on the British tech tree
Seconded. Stunning aircraft that should have been.
CF-100 canuck too
Thirded, an amazing aircraft that could have done lots of great work.
If we made maps larger and add more interesting base-bombing objectives, those big interceptors could probably prosper along with supersonic breakthrough bombers... Gaijin will probably be lazy again though
It would be cool for sure! In game, it's likely to have the same fire control system as the F-106 (MA-1), and if they were to add the "Six" and the F-101, they'd have to add the Falcon missile anyways, so it would fit right in!
Alternate title: when engineers and crack cocaine meet
well that's just the star fighters development cycle
And basically all of mid-late war german designs@@firewolfy_6
P4M-1 / 1Q and P2V neptune series. Postwar Italian G.56’s that used British engines!
Also night fighter series of Ar 234B-2N
Fun Fact: The YB-49 did serve as a partial basis for the J-Type Star Skiff in Star Wars, the other was the RQ-3 Dark Star.
It looks like the Arsenal bird☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠☠
It'd actually be really funny if you could do a low flyover of the battlefield in a Thunderscreech and stun a tank crewman but like 85% of community voted not to add the concussion mechanic so then it would serve no purpose
Aside from all of the fairly obscure stuff, it's insane that the F-86H isn't in the game yet. Which would finally give America its own Sidewinder-armed Sabre.
For those who are skeptical about the Starfire because of a solely rocket armament, the F-94A and B had a conventional armament of 4 .50 cal M3. It was the F-94C with the rockets in the nose instead. And finally, there's the YF-94D, which was a single modified F-94B fitted with an enlarged nose mounting a single T171 (the prototype of the M61 Vulcan 20mm).
And for the F-86D, a single example was tested with four underwing hardpoints for AIM-4 Falcons. So you could get a backup weapon to the rockets, albeit one that's not very reliable.
The Pulqui II not only flew with weapons installed, it even actually saw combat in the 1955 Argentine coup.
the thunderscreach really is one I would love to see as an event vehicle. its bizarre and all but its also unique.
imagine being in a ground battle and how LOUD this engine sound would be!
@@AeroSparrow it would be so loud that you would not head your 1500hp turbine engine inside of your tank.
“Killed by sound”
@@TheGreyBird71 a flyover of the battle would be a really good way to get rp in that case.
IT DIDN'T HAVE ANY GUNS
You forgot to mention the U.S A-5 Vigilante which is one of my fav planes. It's a carrier based medium bomber that would suit the game very well bring it up to Part 3
Next time for sure
@@thesnazzycomet thans man i really wish gajin go back yo the late 40's to the 60's of aircraft
@thesnazzycomet I humbly request the bear otherwise known as the tu 95 as its still in service today and it would be great to see it and the b52 going at it
@christianlassey135
Me if I had the B-52:
AMERICAN KIMIIIIIII-KAAAAAZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE *smacks into ground, barely missing a random Ki-10-II by 2 feet*
There's the McDonnell F-101C heavy escort fighter, the less famous fighter version of the F-101B Voodoo interceptor. Built to escort supersonic bombers like the B-47 they saw a decent production, but due to the rapid advances of bombers in this era quickly outpacing them they got relegated to patrol and reconnaissance duty. They could do about mach 1.7, were armed with four 20mm cannons with 375 rounds per gun and could carry up to 6,000 lbs of bombs, and are a fairly recognizable predecessor to the F4H Phantom II.
And they need to update the plane sounds when you fly, on the ground it sounds great
The fireball was actually adopted. It served for 2 years, and although it didn’t see combat, it did equip VF-66 squadron, nicknamed “The Fireballs” in the last 10 months of the war.
We are missing tons of vehicles from 50-70s.
B52:
The one aircraft I've been vouching for to be in the game for the longest time is the BV 141. Such a silly yet amazing piece of engineering, and is one of those forgotten Blohm and Voss designs. Pretty lengthy wikipedia article on it too due to the number of variants it had as it went through a number of slight redesigns, even with only 28 being built.
I strongly suggest people look up the "scorpion tail" of the XB-35. It's nuts!
tank mains: joe i can’t hear enemy engines… joe are you there??
joe: i hear enemy
tank main: where?
joe: *t h u n d e r s c r e e c h*
Aircraft I would throw into this list:
USA:
- Cessna A-37 Dragonfly “Super-tweet”
- Piper Cub “Bazooka Charlie”
- Piper PA-48 Enforcer
- Douglas A-3 Skywarior
- MORE SKYHAWK AND SKYRAIDER VARIANTS!
- North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco
- B-1A Lancer
- B-58 Hustler
- F11F-1F Super Tiger (for Japan too)
- XF-108 Rapier
- YF-12 Cygnus/Oxcart with missiles
- Douglas XTB2D Skypiratw/Devastator II
USSR
- Yak-36
- IL-16, IL-20, IL-40/102
- Tu-28/128 Fiddler
- Su-9/Su-11 Fishpot
- MiG-23-0/1 VTOL MiG
- WHERE IS MY FOXBAT, GAIJIN???
France

- other Vautour IIN variants
- Mirage IV
Ah yes the A-37 I forgot about that one
@FBI-is-watching-you they dont
YF-12 and foxbat hell nah
@FBI-is-watching-you which one?
@FBI-is-watching-you the Strikemaster came around at a similar time as the dragonfly, but they’re very different aircraft other than looks and role
I whant "the booze carrier" (tu-22)
FAB-9000 gang
@@wrongoloid4749 lol
Thanks for including the Caproni! As you said, though, there isn't much in terms of Italian jet prototypes that are out there. There are planes like the Ambrosini SS.4, which was built and flown, but not sure if it really fits the era you're going for, as it's a 1930s design that looks a lot like the xp 55.
Not even a Italy main but the plane seems so interesting that it just needs to be in war Thunder
Some of the early drones would be neat too honestly. Drones like the Interstate TDR (basically an American Kamakazi drone, that could drop a bomb, or torpedo), and the Ryan Firebee. Stick a drone control aircraft in the area, and basically if you want your team to be able to use them (even if you can spawn in as one), you have to have that aircraft alive. The TDR is slow, and very primitive, but the Firebee did all sorts of missions.
i would love to see the Avro Arrow in War thunder
REMEMBER! If you want these wonderful planes added to the game, then share this video and spread the word! Maybe Gaijin will listen ;)
This took an enormous amount of effort, and turned out to be over twice as long as the first! Grab a drink and a snack, because this is quite the mammoth video!
Here are some more planes that could be added: piaggio p119, ambrosini sai 203, ambrosini sai 407, the miles m 20, the bell xp 77 (all fighters) and siai sm 82 and siai sm 93 and piaggio p 133 and cant z 1014 (bombers) I could name many others
@@davidetrimigliozzi3091 ill make sure to do some research
@@thesnazzycomet they all have wikipedia pages aside from the piaggio p 133, that is in a section of the page for the piaggio p108
There is also the supermarine 545, hawker p1103, hawker p1121, vfw vak 191b, ewr vj 101, dassault balzac v, mirage iiiv, yak-43, the mig ye-152, mig i-3, mig i-7, mig-75, mig flatback, boeing x-32, xf-109 and me-328
The Gnat and Magister were also used by Finland so they could be added to the Swedish TT as well
As for cold war and modern light attack/armed trainers, one options I've seen suggested is to have them added in the helicopter trees instead since they have similar profiles in the form of low speed but modern armament
What im taking from these lists is that Gaijin should add more subsonics and decompress the br brackets these come in, so that a spitfire mk24 won't see a saber at all.
I like the IL-2 Sturmovik Birds of Prey music in the background. Thats the game I grew up playing on my Xbox 360. Crazy to see its the basis for Warthunder.
Dang right - I loved IL-2 on Xbox as well
Hi you wanted some cool Italian planes here is a few worth to check out: cant z.511, caproni camping n1, aerfer Leone, piaggio p133, Breda ba.88m, f.c.20ter, Fiat g80-3b, piaggio p.16
They should add the Me 263 to the game ngl, its basically an upgraded Komet for extra fuel from what I remember.
And the Ba 349 Natter
It's just a german WW2 rocket interceptor armed with rockets instead of guns.
Oh, and it doesn't have landing gear so it gets an automatic air spawn
Hungary is really lacking unique aircraft, but there are several distinctive-looking aircraft in the RMI family that I believe could be added. Unfortunately, there weren't many successful designs, but there were quite a few 'paper planes'. For example, the RMI-8 was essentially a fusion of the Do-335 and the Saab J21. It was a fighter aircraft with a push-pull engine configuration, armed with either 2 8mm or 13mm machine guns and 2 30mm cannons. Another aircraft in the family is the RMI-1 frontline bomber, which was the world's first turboprop.
When the dev stream for 'Alpha Strike' occurred, Mike & Oxy did say that the unique interwar and WWII aircraft for Hungary would be coming. Just not right that red hot minute.
Man, the nostalgia I got from the Birds of Steel theme hit me like a ton of bricks.
I can't stand the way Gaijin manages their game. So much potential, but all they care about making is more premium money printers.
For Italians the Re2004 would be cool since it is essentially an Re2005 but with an Italian engine instead of the German engine
Nah, RE2006.
TSR2 and the Avro Arrow would be amazing. The Bronco and Dragonfly would be nice too.
I'f you're gonna be adding Canadian Aircraft the CF-105 Arrow would be a must have addition as 5 prototypes were built in the 1950's. high altitude interceptor capable of doing mach 2.3 and higher.
It’s like a documentary on military and Warthunder, i love it!!
F-94 Starfire i think it's called would be a good addition
I mentioned it!
@@thesnazzycomet Oh sorry, must have miss spoke, i meant it would actually be a good addition to the game and it makes sense to be in there. i didn't mean that you didn't mention it.
The focke-wulf project 7 or Me p.1112 would be a nice what if vehicle for warthunder. I might be wrong about this but I'm pretty sure there were some unfinished prototypes of those planes that were captured at the end of the war
15:14 Its the Evergreen Air and Space museum. If you find your self up here in Oregon, this is the best Air and Space museum around.
trust me there are plenty of videos I wanna visit in the US
15:12 hey that’s the evergreen space museum sadly they don’t have that outside anymore I think
I want the XF8U-3 and F5D-1. Both were prototypes but would be incredibly fun to fly
I have some aditions too. first the Yokosuka MXY-7 for the japanese a kamikaze aircraft as some kind of a weapon for a bigger plane, second the ac-130 with its variants, the fritz X bomb a guided bomb for the german techtree and the Bachem Ba 349 for the germas aswell.
Some Italian planes that could be added to the game are, hope these may interest you
Piaggio P133: long range heavy bomber, inspired by a captured American bomber, construction of the aircraft was almost completed but it was destroyed/hidden due to the 1943 armistice.
Caproni Campini N.1 or C.C.2: first ever jet to fly publicly and first ever jet with an afterburner (armament unknown)
Caproni Vizzola: fighter in F4 F5 and F6 models
IMAM Ro.57: fighter bomber
SAI Ambrosini 207: fighter
Caproni Ca.135bis: bomber
CANT Z.1018a Leone: medium bomber
- Experimental planes -
AUSA MB.902: fighter
Caproni Ca.331: nocturnal fighter
Again the CC2: jet fighter
Breda BZ 303 Leone II: fighter
if gaijin adds the thunderscreech, realistic at that BR will be insane for headsets that pick up engine sound well. youll be hearing it AT their airfield
Ahh I love to see you took the Me--263 in!
If you add the xb 35 you’ve got to go over the ho 229 extreme heavy bomber with 6 jet engines from ww2 which looks like the xb was based on as it looks pretty much the same in my opinion
Very good video. Definitely want the rest of the “Century Fighters”
id love to see another b24 with the nose turret since we only have one, the b32, the f11, the, a3, and the b58
I would really like to see the XB-19
I would personaly love to see at least some of these aircraft: SO.6020 Espadon, NC.1071, Fiat G82, Aerfer Leone, SE.580, Piaggio P.119, Ca.380 Corsaro, Br.960 Vultur, Super Mystère B.4, SE.212 Durandal, AAS01/AAS02, SO.4000 Vautour I, Grognard 1 and 2, SE.5000 Baroudeur, NC.1080, Nord 2200, MD.454 Mystèr IVN
PLEASE, OMG
My weird plane I’d love to see is the XFM-1 Aircuda by Bell. A pusher prop twin engine plane with twin 37mm guns. 12 were built in the 30’s and it had some videos on it. Sadly the engines hated being a pusher configuration, and the twin guns had gunners in the nacelles that were filled with gun exhaust.
That would be.. interesting
Ik it never was made but i really want to see the ta 183 in the game cuz it looks a like goofy plane that would be fun to play with +
Egg
lol 2 minutes ago, yesterday i watched first part and i was waiting for second, i have something to watch while eating :)
Hope you enjoy!
I would love see the early version of the b2 Aka baby b2 xb35 and yb49
one aircraft i want to see is the YF12 but i dont know if that is considered part of the golden age of aviation, the YF12 is basically an SR71 with missiles another one is the Ultra-saber the competitor to the F-105
I wish War Thunder adds the SO. 9000 Trident, would be a good comparison for the rocket powered ME-262 counterpart.
it was part of the original planned aircraft list for the us but the AJ Savage medium bomber would be fun
i thing they should had the Avro arrow intercepter
They really should add the Fairey Barracuda for Britain
I'd really like to see some yugoslav planes in wt. They could add J21 jastreb (F89 with guns) , J22 oreo (amx ghibli) and 452m (mini sea vixen).
Warthunder needs the MixMaster
Definitely!!!
The A-38 for sweden could be fun to see in war thunder and it would be a god cas aircraft for sweden
What about a lot of the experimental YAKs in early cold water or some of the forgotten TU bombers that don’t get mentioned, like the Tu that’s probably bigger the stratofortress
I was going to mention the Tu-95 Bear but decided not to as I didn't talk about the B-52
@@thesnazzycomet fair enough. One thing that should be in wt by any means though is the yak 50, yak 36, and as the more suited soviet equivalent as and event vehicle, the yak 1000 would be quite funny and act almost exactly like an f104
It'd be really interesting to see more Italian aircraft in the game
Tbh, i really doubt we are gonna get more late WW2 and cold war bombers unless there is a heavy overhaul of the air mode as currently bombers are too weak to really do much and get outdone by strike aircraft that are capable of doing more than just base bombing
Very underrated plane but I would love to see the F101 Voodoo
Since there are already Argentine tanks in War Thunder, I would like to see Argentine planes, like the I.Ae.30 Ñancú and the IA.58 Pucará
Yes the XF-84 Thunder Screech!!!
I want the Flying pancake. Vought XF5U-1 as an event plane 4.0 -5.0
it got a brief mention ;)
Second video of asking for you to talk about the XBT2D SKYPIRATE
Next time for sure!
17:10 I lost it at VTOHL (vertical takeoff and hopefully landing) :D
Gaijin should add the XB-42 Mixmaster.
I fcking LOVE the look of it, same with the XF-85 Goblin
yes definitely! If I EVER did a part 3, I would mention the Mixmaster and its successor the Jetmaster
Man, that IL-2: birds of prey theme slaps
one plane i'd love to see added is the spanish HA-1112 "Buchón" which was spain's take on the Bf-109 but with british Merlin engines and Hispano cannons, it would make for a fun rank 4 premium for germany would fit best i think
(i am not biased because i'm from spain i swear)
I might be alone on this one, but i want to see more Mustang variants for the US tree, primarily the M variant. though only one was produced, i would still love to see it in the game
Another one i feel would be cool to see is the early birdcage corsair. I just always wanted to see one of those in a game
im unfamiliar with the P-51M but id be only too happy to see more variants of WW2 planes in game
The CAC CA-23 would be an interesting Australian paper jet for the British tree
Great video again!
Along the lines of the Fouga Magister and Folland Gnat, I think the Macchi MB-326 would make a good Italian jet trainer and light attack plane. First flown in 1957, about 800 were built and it has been exported far and wide. And it would also have a ton of liveries to choose from. In the realm of early Italian jet prototypes there's the Aerfer Sagittario II and Aerfer Ariete, both from the mid to late 50's, so pure gun fighters. As far as I know neither of the prototypes was actually fitted with armament, so the performance figures reported are probably a bit inflated. They do look stylish, though.
When talking about British colonies What about the cf-105 and CAC CA-15
HE COOKED AGAIN!
🥘
*Insert plane sounds here*
A very humble wish of mine is the SBD 2, just like in the Midway movie
More variants of ww2 planes would be welcome
It might seem crazy what I’m boutta say
@@EmbeddedWithin what
@@thesnazzycomet isn't the sbd already in game
I would like to see the Cessna a-37 dragonfly in the game
thatll be mentioned if I ever do a part 3
Snazzy do some magic stuff and get the B-52 added in game. (It holds 75 thousands lbs of boom)
También deberían añadir al juego el fw 187 , I.Ae. 30 Ñancú , hispano hs.50 , ha 1112 M1L , bf 109 k6 y k14 ( Que se presume fueron construidos ) , piaggio p.133 , ki 91 , yb 40 , ha 220 super saeta y el xf5u .
A mi parecer serian adiciones interesantes .
The Tu-128 would be a nice addition. Just because it is so big
You know who built the most funky aircrafts other than USA? THATS RIGH5 - FRENCHMEN! They built an ungodly amount of strange jets (and props to a lesser extent), so if you make a 3 part, please, talk a bit more about france
let me have my Thunderscreech and let the enemy team hear me start up
Xb-51 would be cancer in ground rb ngl
Edit: The Lisunov Li-2 was the Russian copy of the C-47 and was used heavily as a medium/light bomber in early ww2
Its long overdue to he included imo
I want the xf5u. Be hard to model its redundant power transmission system though (keeps both propellers turning if one engine fails).
that po2 tidbit is so based
just saw this video! wow you are popping off
o7
Please gaijin give me my bomber mossie !
also i would love to see more X-planes and variants i’m not sure how they would add them into tech-trees
If they add the US flying wing it would be cool to see the proposed Horton larger flying wings even though they were never made or experimented with.
A few aircraft that can easily come: Caproni 309 Ghibli (The aircraft that gave the studio its name), R2Y1 (The actually built and produced propeller version of the R2Y2’s), IL-20 (what if you wanted to make an IL-2 so tank like it’s ugly), Fairey Albacore (Swordfish that’s slightly better with enclosed cockpit, got retired before the Swordfish), Me 210 (the failed attempt at making a Bf 110 better, overhauled to become 410), and the Bell YFM-1 Airacuda (heavy attack aircraft, two 37mm guns, one on the front of each engine nacelle, two .30’s two .50’s, and bomblets)
It might seem crazy what I’m boutta say…
The German planes ta-400 and the horten Bomber that would bei some relly coll planes , or maybe the haunebu
I think it would be cool to see the A-5 Vigilante, a Mach 2 naval bomber
In my opinion, warthunder needs to cut back on event vehicles. Those of us who don't have time to play the events shouldn't be forced to pay for the vehicle. Just put it in the tech tree.
I would love to see a Soviet tu-95. Reminds me of the b-36 a bit
Even just and upgraded fw200 would be awesome as well as the ju290 which is my favorite bomber of ww2
Gaijin be like: "Write that donw, write that down."
This is a more modern one but I would love to see the SU-47 I think it would be funny to see in game
I actually have a model of that! while I personally do not look forward to modern tech coming, theres no reason why it shouldnt come
PZL P.11c, PZL P.24, PZL.23 in the brit tree
