    This is much more difficult to do on a Challenger. The front panel underneath does not come off, so you have limited access to the cross beam. Removing the front facia would be easier.

      agree, but it is possible with patience, technique and the right tools. I installed on my Challenger Hellcat without removing front clip.

    I have a hellcat, and I'm guessing that the additional radiator for the supercharger is going to make it impossible to install this without removing the front bumper. Is that a correct assumption?

      This is cosmetic. It will function for light tugging, such as if this Charger is stuck on an ice patch or is in a few inches of snow. The recovery load might be 500 to 1000 pounds of force, which this rig might handle.
      But, this hardware and the way it was mounted will not work for a true offroad recovery where forces can reach up to 15,000 pounds for a 4000-5000 pound sedan. No professional/commercial recovery service would dare use this aluminum tow hook to extricate this Charger from a ditch or mud. The insurance company would never allow it. If the customer's hardware fractured under the real stress of a true recovery using kinetic straps, that hook would become a lethal projectile the instant it broke. Furthermore, the bumper strip it was attached to will permanently deform in a recovery operation.
      In the Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, the factory tow hook attachment points are to unibody rails that run the length of the vehicle. The tow hooks are 100% steel and the shaft is as thick as your thumb and is secured with a 32mm nut.

      ZL1 Addons Tow Hooks are 100% functional for recovery as long as the vehicle is rolling. The D-rings and hardware are able to support 4 tons on a static pull.
