    Canford cliffs was no mug he was exceptional horse himself but frankel left him for dead .
    Devastating turn of foot from frankel amazing performance from an amazing horse.

    I'm with GBeret, this was the day he destroyed Hannon's best ever horse the best horse that R Hughes had ever sat on up to this point.

    Interesting Stats. He ran the last 4f around 43secs = average speed of 41.8mph

    Es impresionante ver como gana,con su jockey con las manos en la cruz,lo mueve algo a falta de un "furlong" para la meta.En un cánter hubiera ganado igual.
    Sin duda el mejor caballo de los últimos treinta años y quizás de la historia.

    No one can deny that Canford Cliffs was quite a talented turf miler in his own right, but he was made to look ordinary by Frankel, which was why he was retired shortly after. Hannon wanted no part of Frankel again after seeing the result of this race, IMO.
