Hundreds of Jane Marczewski fans and friends from across the country gathered at a church in the Licking County countryside Friday to pay their final respects to the singer known as Nightbirde.
Marczewski, 31, died Feb. 19 after a four-year battle with cancer. While her life took her to various places across the U.S., including Nashville and, later, California, when she made her famous Golden Buzzer “America’s Got Talent” audition, her ties to central Ohio are what led Marczewski’s family to choose Cornerstone Church in Heath as the place to celebrate her life.
Her positive outlook on life no matter how hard things got was so inspiring.

Jane was indeed such a blessing not only to her family and friends but to all those she had touched and inspired by her story, since her appearance in America's Got Talent. Those with cancer, those going through some difficult times in their lives. Am sure they found strength, courage and inspiration from her. That no matter what, It's OK. It's alright! What a amazing legacy! I found "Nightbirde" video's a week ago, 2024!!! She passed away 2022! If you've not watched her videos please take some time to hear her testimony. She shares her faith of Jesus in selfless ways. Her Celebration of Life...her dad and pastor few words had me laughing especially her pranks! Wonderful spirit! She left this earthly world and walked into arms of Jesus! Sing Nightbirde! You are in the choir of angels...until i meet you in Heaven...

Jane was truly one of a kind. GOD let us borrow her but for a very short time, however she was also needed in Heaven. I have no doubt she is singing to everyone in Heaven. You are deeply missed and loved and always will be.

My mother died from the same cancer that Jane did. She was 27 when she was diagnosed and was told she had six months to live. Four years later, at the age of 31, my mother passed away. So many similarities and equally upsetting. I was praying that Jane would win the battle. When I found out she passed I was utterly heartbroken for her family, friends and everyone whose lives she touched. May Jane Rest In Eternal Peace 🕊⚘️

My mother passed away from the same kind of cancer she also had one of her breasts removed but it came back with a vengeance it metastasized into her lungs and spine as well she was diagnosed and gone in less than a year and a half. So I know all too well. 😭😭😭

My girlfriend loved her song very much, she used to listen to her song "It's OK" when she needed some strength to fight this evil disease. My girlfriend died with that same disease few weeks ago after 11 years battle to kill it without any success. May they rest in peace

Never knew about her and I was just scrolling through CZcams because I'm also on my own journey with God and my faith and I came across her video and stopped and listened to it and then I had to hear the song she sang on America got talent. It was beautiful and the whole experience made me cry. Her video she said, she doesn't believe it's the end and humanity will unite. But I just want to say, she's right and her faith is tremendous and it's not the end she didn't die or pass away, she just changed worlds. There's something and someone bigger than we can know out there. The spirit never dies and I personally believe in reincarnation. When one leaves this world another enters. May she be sitting at God's right hand and looking down. She would want people to be happy that she's not in pain anymore. Amen
