  • Our tips for DIY Spoon Banner installation.
Please ONLY purchase your Spoon Banner from an Official Spoon Dealer as there are so many fake banners out there on eBay etc.
Take your time, "measure twice, cut once" as they say.
Please note, using any blade on your windscreen can scratch the glass if you are not careful.

The video looks like it was filmed in 2005

It's alot easier to trace the pattern on the back of the banner first, cut and install

I don’t get it, how did you pull that strip? Is it built with serrations?

I normally take a steel ruler (the large version) and take off one 'slice' at a time using a 'box-cutter' / retractable blade knife (always use a brand new blade!), normally 2 slices is perfect for EG/EK/DC2. The advantage of doing it this way is that you can adjust the height (from max to legal). for those with Low Position Seat Rails and racing seats and those with a full cage installed, it's handy to have it hang down quite far.

How were you able to pull a perfect strip off without it stretching or moving its height.... i get the measured cut, but still dont understand how that line was so clean from pulling it

as the saying goes "measure twice, cut once"... take your time and ensure cuts are made cleanly through the vinyl - always use a brand new blade also. 'Squeejee' the fluid out so the banner is held onto the glass - you won't be able to trim the banner until it's fixed down properly.
