If you're doing it alone all you have to do is use masking tape, find your center line and run a piece of masking tape right down the middle And use it as a hinge so that the decal will go right back in place when you set it down That's how I do it and it's pretty helpful when you're alone

I tried this and nailed it on the first try, I got the logo crooked but the soapy water allowed me to pull it off and redo the alignment without ripping or leaving glue marks on the glass, thanks y’all as video helped me alot✌🏻

I would add that if there is a seal of any kind at the top of the windshield be sure to flush out under it when prepping the windshield. Otherwise, as you push the water up and out or run your squeegee around the edges like they did before trimming it may pull dirt out from under that seal and leave a bunch of nasty looking "bubbles" under the vinyl.
Any tips on installing the kind with adhesive instead of regular vinyl? Like the kinds from auto zone.

Hello is it illegal to put custom banners on the bottom of the windshield
Just bought a throtl banner! So stoked to put it on my car!
Quick questions, does using your windshield wiper mess up the banner? I would hate for it to start to come off cause of that. Also, Do you have to get that tint done on the windshield before the banner?
Tint goes on the inside of the car so you can get it done after if you would like.
My car has a sensor on the windshield. Will a banner disrupt the sensor?

I see other people install banners but theirs are kind of curved at the sides but yours is pretty much straight all across, is it because your vinyl already has some curve or because the window doesn't have much curve?
Should just be the curve of the windshield

they use a vinyl cutter like a cameo or cricut. I have a cameo 4 and it’s really good. I use it for tshirts so research good vinyl cutters for big projects like this

How do these hold up against the elements?
It all depends how extreme the weather is in your area. We've had banners last for several years, and we've also experienced as little as a few months if the owner lives in the colder states (think: scraping ice off of windshield etc.)

I hear that profetionals will use a drop of Johnson&Johnson Baby hair shampoo in their spray bottles to install window tint and windshield banners. You should be able to find a travel sized bottle at a drugstore CVS, London Drugs, Shoppers etc... I think Dawn or Sunlite would also work well. (One drop and shake it up a bit) All the best.

Great tutorial but glass cleaner like Windex can actually make it harder for the decal to stick. Better off just using isopropyl alcohol.

Not if tint strips are legal in your area. Alabama for instance, they say a strip no more than 6 inches on the windshield, so I could literally spraypaint it black because they didn't specify a percentage
