I want a replacement for Rs3m 2020 but not from Moyu
Gan 14 pro, cheaper starting price than 14, less popping, yiheng wang uses it
The obvious answer is the TV4 but I am excited for the tengyun and the Tianma. Also great vid!

mainly a new dayan flagship and maybe the tv4. dayan cubes feel awesome, and one that can compete with qiyi, moyu, etc would be really good. also the main reason why id be any excited for the tv4 is durability: one of my cores broke and i heard the magnet adjustment system can also get damaged, so i want qiyi to fix that, and maybe make the performance ever so slightly better

They've been up and down for the most part. Some great cubes some mid cubes.

idk why people don't like the newer gan cubes, in my opinion each new gan cube is better than the previous

Yeah, it's a shame that such a good cube is ruined by poor build quality.
Yea I wanted to buy it but I was just too scared about the QC for that much
It is very unfortunate how the Super Weilong went down, it really is an excellent cube, people have just been put off it because it is so much more expensive (people also seem to not realise that it is actually cheaper than the Gan 14) and it comes with the useless accessories.
Yeah, from the people who have bought it, it’s clear the Super WeiLong is a good cube but I think a lot of cubers were just put off by such a steep increase in the price.
Is not cheaper than the 14. 14 is like 70$ and 14 Pro is 78$ (If u choose the matte is cheaper). Super WeiLong is 87$ (Smaller box edition). Its rlly good to see the 14s price went down alot since 14 pros release (And pro is like 10$ less than the original, while its price was expecting to be 100$). Anyways, the super weilong is an excellent cube as you said but is not better option than the 50$ v9 20 magnets bc (Its basically the same thing)
My xman 3 was brittle out of the box, and overtime just straight up snapped in half. I liked it, but hopefully the v4 will be more durable
Yeah, I’ve heard a lot of people with this exact issue and I hope it’s something they fix with the V4.
Yeah, I was afraid I'd have this happen to me so I just went with what already worked, which was the Gan 12 M Leap and RS3M V5 Maglev BC
I think a Tiled GAN would be really cool. I renember when GAN was really against going stickerless. It could be cool to see a resurgance of the old-school GAN look but with durable tiles. The tiled cube market is quite lacking with very few magnetic tiled cubes. And I think GAN has some experience with it since they collab with rubik often.
I saw their new GAN 14 Pro has some anti-pop mechanism which will probably return in the GAN 15.
One probably unpopular addition would be bring back the ability to adjust corner-edge magnets

I think the Tornado v4 needs these upgrades after v3:
-Less effort to change the magnets
-Better center cap
-More contrast magnets color
-Stronger magcore magnets( because the magcore on the flagship and pioneer version of the tornado v3 are really weak)
And not breaking, my pioneer uv broke after less than 2 months and this have been a major issue since it's realease
Interesting, I think that the improvements you have mentioned lead more to a 'Tornado V3 Pro' rather than a completely new cube because they are just fixing some of the problems. Maybe if they did what you said and changed the piece design or something else major, it could become a Tornado V4

QiYi clearly does not think it's necessary to release an update for its Tornado V3, and I agree, although I am keen to see what the V4 will be like. None of all these newer cubes from Moyu, Gan, Haitun, seem able to compete with the Tornado V3, or IMO with the Guhong Pro M.

@@UK_Cuber Yeah, but i think the sq-1 will come out this year. Because GAN promised the sq-1 will come with the 5x5, so i have high expetations for 2024
I had the plastic holding the magnets in place break off on two different Tornado V3's one was the Pioneer and the one I main. The magnets, springs fell out and the cubes are now basically unusable. Shame as it was my main and I haven't found a suitable replacement that I can 100% rely on.
The nearest turning feeling is the GuHong Pro M but it's not as good, it feels cheaper and not as reliable turning. The Moyu V5 and V9 are better turning more reliable especially the V5 but they have a completely different feeling to the Tornado. The Toronto floats and bounces along and turns beautifully, so hopefully they will fix the plastics/magnet issue.
Yeah, the Tornado definitely has an issue with durability. In terms of the GuHong Pro M, I haven't actually tried that cube yet so I don't know about that! But I really hope the Tornado fixes its issues with the V4

Sort of, but for a completely new release, I think GAN would make more of a difference between the two cubes.

I may be wrong here but I remember hearing somewhere that diansheng bought ms3s company? I am unsure about any future ms3 releases.
Yeah, I think they did. So potentially they will begin to name the MS3 line of cubes more similarly to DainSheng.

Honestly I want a good 2x2 from moyu or gan. It's been so long since an actually good 2x2 has been released
Yeah, I feel like 2x2 technology hasn't really changed in a long time.
Maglev 2x2, gan already did with mega so they might do with 2x2. With a better adjustment system
I think that moyu is for sure gonna update the V5
The V5 is a great cube for its price and i broke both of my PB with it
I used to main the tornado V3 and i got decent times my avg is 17
Times with Tornado V3
Best AO5=15: 63
Best single=11: 34
Times with RS3M V5 ball core
Best AO5=14: 50 PB
Best single=9: 10 PB
So yeah im excited for the release of the RS3M V6 but i think X man is gonna produce a market breaking cube for a reasonable price

I personally use both of the settings at two the magnets are at 3.
The RS3M V5 is very good and if you use the same settings that i use on the tornado V3 i think that the RS3M V5 Ball core is going to have a shot at being your main cube.When i got it i thought its going to be my 3rd choice cube behind the WRM 2021 but after setting it up the V5 is a great cube!
Skewb hardware has been the same for a while, hoping for some new skewbs!
I'm not in that side of cubing, but I'm sure new skewbs would be good!
i hope tv4 is bad or not come out until atleast later this year just got v3 in jnuary

I'd say we have enough 3x3s, cubing companies should start releasing some new puzzle as well. I can't keep using the mgc square-1 forever please
Haha, I'm not sure square-1 will be anyones first choice! But I do agree, cube companies do just focus on 3x3's for most of their releases.

UK cuber i am getting my first speedcube ever to try and work my way to 30 second solves, do you have a recommendation? I really like gan 11m pro but im not sure if it is for beginners (no budget, the price doesnt matter)
Personally, if budget doesn't matter there are a couple of great options. Even though it is cheaper than other cubes, I always recommend the X-Man Tornado V3 as it is really good, the GAN 11 M Pro is also a good cube however it is a couple of years old now and may not have as up-to-date hardware compared to other cubes. The DaYan GuHong Pro M is also a really good option so consider that one as well.
I would watch a bunch of reviews on the cubes I have mentioned (as well as some other cubes) to determine which one would be the best one for you!

@@UK_Cuber I heard maglev wasnt good for beginners so my thinking was if i got the gan 11m pro, i could practice for a while to then upgrade to gan 12 maglev, but im also not sure if any of that was true
I don't think that maglev would at all be bad for newer cubers. The only difference is it makes cubes faster which you can change with tighter tensions and slower lubes if you don't like it. But it's all up to you!
@@UK_Cuber I only heard maglev was bad because you dont learn to turn accurately. when i first started looking i thought the only good cubes were gan cubes but now im looking into other options that i think might be better for me. and im seriously considering the tornado v3 now

I´m thinking of maining a 5$ cube tbh the yuxin little magic ,stickered, non magnetic, I´m absolutely blown away by it.

@@UK_Cuber it is, u should get it but if you do, get the stickered version, the stickerless isn´t as good apparently
my friend made force cubes out of them, and he let me use one of the extras and gave me 2 of the force cubes. For a 5$ cube, its completely astonishing.

I think all of the unnecessary stuff on the 14 makes the cube heavier and have more friction. They should remove some of it but add something new like a new piece design or something
Yeah exactly, no one needs to be able to adjust the edge to core magnet strength! If they got rid of that and actually spent time innovating on performance, the cube would be much more interesting.
hopefully xman would cook on their next cube while yes they were cooking at the tv3 but the durability is absolute crap ;-;-;-;-;
