- In this elden ring video In this video I'm testing whether any boss duo can beat the boss fight with Godfrey's 2nd phase, Hoarah Loux. I've left HL with his full health bar and enabled grabs on him and all other bosses and spawned boss duos with increased difficulty from the weakest to the strongest.
According to the elden ring lore, Hoarah Loux was the warrior who led the battle against the giants in the name of queen Marika the eternal, becoming her first husband which made him first elden lord. After becoming elden lord he took the name of Godfrey, first elden lord. Godfrey and Marika had three demigod children; Godwyn the Golden, and the twins, Morgott and Mohg. After he won battles on behalf of Marika, his purpose now fulfilled, Marika exiled Godfrey and his warriors from the Lands Between, making him the first Tarnished.

@@grayhackinson9722 Some of Gideons abilities get switched for others depending on which bosses you have beaten before fighting him. Bloom requires Malenia to be defeated for example.
@@NathanTheDwarvenShark Not switched. He gains more abilities depending on the information you give him throughout his questline.
@@mee091000 No, I am quite sure he actually loses some abilities, as in the games Data he has a cap on his abilities. If I am wrong, meh. But I am farely sure I am right.

I feel that in the normal game,we didn't see enough from Hoarah Loux,since he appears in the second phase of Godfrey's fight,and he appears without full health
IMO the phase transition should happen a bit earlier but I think it's fine as it is. The Hoarah Loux phase has about the same healthbar as Beast Clergyman/Maliketh in his entirety.

Rykard can't do sword damage when they're that close
Rykard needs his lava pool to keep enemies from constantly attacking him, it helps stagger enemies. Also he can't do his fire skull storm outside his arena. And in this match he wasn't able to spit out any rancor skulls which also help stagger and deal damage.
@@pinkvillafantasy my comments were less about how strong the duo was and more about how weak the boss was, at least from my perspective. But def agreed - Rykard is a weak boss.
That's a nerfed rykard. He can't use many of his attacks. Plus his lava is also gone. There are cases where he can solo any boss with ease.

How about the beast duo (Maliketh, Horah Loux) vs the red head duo (Malenia, Radagon) with grabs? It would be a good fight since Malenia and Horah both grab, Maliketh and Malenia both damage over time, and Horah and Radagon both do a lot of poise damage.
Radagon’s a bit too weak for a partner, Beast duo would win

I think the theory about radagon being a giant is still a thing in my head. Cant be a coincidence that both Rahdan and Rykard are both giants and that Ranni left behind a body that was bigger than any human or lumine in the lands between.
I don't think Rykard or Radahn are originally giants, I think Rykard became gigantic because he is on the back of a big snake and I believe Radahn became huge via gravity magic.
Both Malenia, Marika, and Radagon are depicted in the game tall but not gigantic

I really loved how the designed Hoarah Loux combat mechanics, as much that he was one of my favorite bosses. But unfortunately his stats is kinda trash, and this kinda takes a lot of the emotion of the battle itself... Still, seeing his might always makes me happy.

I love how Radagon and Malenia just synergise together like proper relatives, sad we didn't get any Waterfowl from Malenia but otherwise it was so cool, especially the Radagon triple hammer slam after Godfrey died, it was like "that's what you get!" 😂

There is something funny about morgott and mogh working well together to finishes him before striking a great pose and malenia and radagon being more busy with trying to kill steal. i love how when boss/non-player enemies get grabbed they just crumple into a writhing ball presumably because the game is trying to fit them down into player-sized forms for the animations reacting to being grabbed
