Hoarah Loux VS ALL Demigods (With Grabs) - Elden Ring

- In this elden ring video I've had Hoarah Loux challenge all of the playable demigods in a boss vs boss fight. For each demigod, I decided to play a round while keeping the vanilla scaling and stats as well as one round
where I've scaled the demigod to Loux's tier and HP so that they would be equal. Also, I've enabled grabs on both Loux and the demigods to make it more fair and entertaining.
According to the Elden ring lore, Hoarah Loux was the warrior who led the battle against the giants in the name of queen Marika the eternal, becoming her first husband which made him first Elden lord. After becoming elden lord he took the name of Godfrey, first elden lord. Godfrey and Marika had three demigod children; Godwyn the Golden, and the twins, Morgott and Mohg. After he won battles on behalf of Marika, his purpose now fulfilled, Marika exiled Godfrey and his warriors from the Lands Between, making him the first Tarnished.

When most of Hoarah Loux's moveset is just different kinds of grabs, its either this or he's crippled by constantly spamming literally useless moves if grabs aren't enabled ^^;

Loux canceling Malenia's Waterfowl Dance by grabbing and throwing her out of it, immediately followed by him attempting a super move only for Malenia to grab and throw HIM out of it and then impale him, was both cool and hilarious.

Given Radahn had a ton of admiration for Godfrey, I like to think in my own little way Godfrey would be genuinely impressed by his meteor attack but ultimately think “not bad, but not good enough!”

I've never played a soulslike, but I find it funny that Hoarah's whole thing is "You WILL catch these hands", meanwhile, everyone is wearing armor and using weapons.
Respect.
It's even more badass because, in the lore, Hoarah was forced to neuter himself to become more "regal" upon ascending to kinghood. He had to wear fancy armor, use a fancy axe, call himself "Godfrey", and have a pet lion that limits his bloodlust. But only when you beat Godfrey does Hoarah say "alright, fuck this" and beat you to death with his bare hands as the barbarian he truly is. Coolest boss in Soulslike history imo, tied with Ludwig from Bloodborne.
Fighting brawlers is usually more fun for me instead of fighting spell casters and giant creatures.

@@Chemtrooper46 We dont know how difficult holding the stars back are for all we know it doesnt takea constant effort. But narratively it would be better if it were a large ass feat which is fair. Once again if we look at it narratively Godfrey defeated any opponent in the lands between and lost grace because he defeated anyone worthy. Ontop of that his ripping the earth out with his axe travels an infinite distance and his ability to stomp and create earth quakes is a much bigger feat than a tiny meteor. The reason why interms of mandatory bosses is the second last is because it is there to show that you are fighting the first elden lord the most powerful of all beings other than outer gods. This man hasnt lost to anyone but you the tarnished. I couldnt say the same ab radahn, he has lost to morgott and stale mated with malenia. Godfrey has more feats and his mechanics are more impressive interms of scale. Hence, I'd say godfrey is much stronger. I mean cmon Radahn idolised godfrey for a reason.
Shout out to Malenia in the first fight getting grabbed multiple times, only to do the same thing back.

I think hoarah loux/godfrey has my favorite moveset out of any souls boss because it fits him, the game, the tarnished and soulsborne so well, a warrior using skill, relentlessness and strength to win a fight, nothing more nothing less except with hoarah they’re all turned up to 11

Hoarah Loux had the power of raw bloodlust, but that was before he met Marika (and after his immortality and grace was stripped)
Godfrey was unbeaten in every battle when he had the blessings of grace, but significantly limited his own ferocity to maintain dignity.
If Hoarah Loux had the same blessings as prime Godfrey he would have been one of the absolute strongest beings in the Lands Between. Easily the most powerful human alive.
Yeah, he was undefeated... *stares at malenia* when he used to receive the grace of the Erdtree, but Marika wanted him to be strong without it, so she banished him to fight outside the Lands Between, and that was the moment that Hoarah Loux became Chieftain of the Badlands.
If the player didn't exist, i have no doubt that Godfrey would be Elden Lord again, he would be unstoppable!
The ultimate giga chad, we need a mod for this
Hoarah Loux likely does have the same blessings of Grace. He had it as Elden Lord, but was limiting himself via Serosh, and after he's given his Grace back, he's better than ever, then proceeds to go all out as his true self. Also, looking at all the demi-gods, it's even more impressive that Hoarah Loux is so skilled and powerful when he doesn't even have a Great Rune.
Only after a naked dude with a stick running around Lands Between for a few hours.

I suppose it makes sense. The wings aren’t a separate animation, it’s apart of the attack. As soon as the animation begins, it triggers second phase.

Only other boss ive seen beat her is Maliketh due to his status effects

1. You cant stop radahns phase transition move even if you stagger him, but others can have theirs stopped.
2. With equal scale loux seems to be even stronger than the enemy.

Her *lifesteal* is strong. As a boss, she's actually nothing to write home about. She just breaks a bunch of fundamental rules, which is why she's memorable.
@@MrJinglejanglejingle the Scarlet Aeonia is just as bad. Bosses never dodge so their health bars get melted by the DoT. The only reliable way to beat her is to melt her health bar a la Maliketh

Hoarah Loux is my favorite boss. He is aggressive and relentless, his grabs are op and his earthquake attacks are devastating. If only Hoarah was able to dodge Radhan’s Meteor or Malenia’s attacks, the fight would be mutch more interesting.
