    *humiditer We liked it **Fastly.Cool** so much in the basement, we bought a second one for the main level. The amount of moisture it pulls out of the air is astonishing.*

    I bought the Vicks humidifier. I enjoy it and it has helped my body in different ways, tremendously.
    If I turn it up high, I have a little fan that I can use to help circulate the mist in the air. Seems like the fan helps the mist spread out more, throughout my room.

    Re the white dust problem - if you use an Ecoflap vent cover to automatically open and close your floor vents your humidifier will use much less water and you'll get less white dust and not have to clean nor refill your humidifier as often. The Ecoflap also makes use of distilled water much more convenient and affordable - again since your humidifier will use less water with an Ecoflap. Distilled water should completely stop white dust and white mineral deposits from building up inside your humidifier. You can get the Ecoflap on Amazon. Most grocery stores have distilled water by the gallon.

    I didn't keep up with maintaining my Crane Humidifier this is the second one I go through. High maintenance if you ask me.

    how close to your bed do you recommend having to get the benefits? I find if I have it too close it wets my sheets

      +Clayton Anderson I recommend putting it higher like on a shelf. But it really depends on how big your room.

    Does a cool must humidifier make a room cold? Please reply back asap. I'm thinking about buying one because it's so hot in my room

      ***** Unless you have dry heat, but it doesn't make it that cool, maybe 1 or 2 degrees if even that. Because it doesn't pump out that much water. I would suggest you buy one in the store at Target, then return it if it doesn't cool as much as you thought.

    Hi, if you have heat running indoors, shouldnt that cool mist get absorbed then? And thanks, for posting!

    • @winnieef
      @winnieef Před 9 lety

      & I thought that warm mist humidifiers arent as good compare with cool mist ones because warm mist ones generates heat and could effect the machine

    • @PoolarityChannel
      @PoolarityChannel  Před 9 lety

      winnieef It really depends, I bought one for my mother, and in her place she can turn the crane up all the way to Max and the Mist keeps on rising 2 feet above, where as for me, the mist will rise only at 1/2 the level, any higher and it drops down and creates the White Chalk film near the surroundings as well as slightly wet. As far as Warm Mist, I have one of those also, and I like Warm mist because it outputs more Water into the air a lot faster, 1 gallon in 3 hours, wheareas this Crane takes 1 gallon in 10 hours. The drawback is that warm mist is basically boiling water and uses 300 watts, the crane uses 20 to 30 watts. Also, warm mist is harder to clean and so can have bacteria and can be less healthy if you are not vigilant in cleaning it. So pros and cons of warm and cool list, I keep both for that reason

    any way to produce hot mist ?

    • @PoolarityChannel
      @PoolarityChannel  Před 8 lety

      +kevin gunawan No, even if you put hot water in it, its not hot like a Hot Mist Humidifier. And since it does not boil the water constantly, after 15 minutes it will not be hot any longer.

      shanu mittal These types of humidifers releases cold vapors, but if you wanted to get a bit fancy there's a humidifier that heats up the vapors to realease warm vapors but usues much more power consumption compared to cold vapor humidifers.
