@@bogard887 dude he was 6’7 and an elite athlete that’s reLly the example you’re going to use? The reality is both sports require elite athleticism but basketball revisited more specialized skill. It’s much more intuitive to teach someone how to run a route and catch a pass then how to dribble a basketball and shoot it. They could be making more money for less risk. If you think every player nfl chooses it over basketball for “the love of the game” then you’re naive. Jimmy graham swifched to football because he would’ve gone undrafted in the NBA.
Allen Iverson and Charlie Ward are two examples of football players converting to pro basketball.

They gon be sick as fuck when they find out Randy Moss originally wanted to be in the NBA 😭
AI wanted to play in the NFL so what’s your point?
Randy moss was a FOOTBALL PLAYER that could hoop. Any nfl player that claims basketball y’all claim him as a hooper. But when a football player plays in the NBA he’s a hooper too you can’t have both sides
@jarodguidotti5903 he was a hooper. Basketball takes more skill. Anyone that's played both knows. It's easier for moss to be a top 3 wr than for him to be an undersized 2 guard in the nba .

They couldn't do nothing with Jimmy Graham in the NFL, LeBron would dominate them
I believe that you could train a LeBron or Paul George into an average (at least) NFL TE or End Rusher a Lot Easier than you could get DB or DW into an NBA game 🤔🤔
Ppl dat play football know the lowest man wins off the line
You can adjust for physicality and toughness. You can not just simply flip a switch and be more skilled, athletic, and tall. This is not a debate..
Yes there is its called working harder, talent isnt a real thing
Maybe not on the height, but if you train hard an right you can definitely become more athletic and skilled
@@SkubaSteve915 yeah maybe 15th player on a gleague team skilled. Professional basketball player have shit that just can't be taught, you either have it or you don't. Same with football players. 💯
They are delusional as hell on their nfl players being in the nba take. Athleticism pretty much always translates in the NFL but that is not true in the NBA. Football players are pretty much always that one dude at the gym that can’t play defense without fouling, has absolutely no touch at all on anything, and misses the rim on layups cause they smack the damn ball into the backboard so hard it goes to the free throw line. If they were good enough to be in the NBA they would’ve chosen that over football for every position other than QB.
They have no ball skills whatsoever on a basketball court lol. Watching them try is always comical
The footbll dudes i know including myself defense is usually a strength. The specific skill set of shooting the basketball is the strength of bballers but besides that and the height dynamics its just athletes vs athlete.
Ya'll tripping. First off they may not be NBA stars, but just about every black dude play ball and probably been playing ball since they were kids. That's not the same with football. I could see a big body receiver in the NFL with some nice shooting skills putting points on the board

Injuries aside. We just talking about skill set. It’s easier to catch a football than dribble n shoot a basketball.
Dude, running at full sprint and catching a ball with a dude on your hip?? You really reaching. Girls on JV can dribble and shoot a hoop. I knew kids who didn't make the NBA but barely missed a shot. So it's not as simple as you are trying to make it.
Tony Gonzalez was a minimum role player in college basketball and HOF tight end. He got off the ball. Bigger better athletes…
Ya'll just making the point of the video. NFL players can play in the NFL. They have the basic skills. Saying dude didn't go to NBA because he played and stopped doesn't mean shit. They aren't saying NFL players easily could go be the next Bron, they are just saying enough NFL players, have played ball and have been playing ball and could easily make the jump back into basketball full time.
Let's be real here. You put some athletic football players on a field and some athletic basketball players. The NBA players sitting in pads getting son'ed by the football players, not a single score. But on the other hand, I have money on those same football players, losing but putting points on the board. I would bet everything I own. I know for a fact that the NFL has players who still play hoop every day. Just about every fucking dude hoops regularly that I know

Somebody told them wrong… football players typically just have 1 roll to play and they even separated by defensive & offensive positions. NBA players have to be versatile in every position, you can’t just have 1 skill. Their argument is that they can’t take a hit but that’s a matter of opinion based on no evidence.
“Get getcho get yuuhhhhhh!”
DB funny as hell.
Both sides are def undervaluing how difficult the others job is lol
I think they just don't understand words. An appropriate analogy would be: Being a coal miner I'm sure is a harder job, but it has a lower barrier to entry because the skill floor is much lower. You don't need to know as much going in, but you need to be willing to withstand the harsh conditions. That's football. Meanwhile, we can look at basketball as a Software Engineer at Google. Yeah, the job is much less physically taxing on your body. But the skill floor is so much higher, which makes the barrier to entry higher. That's basketball.
@@boomshakalaka8567 True to some extent, but playing in the NFL requires much more tactical work and study than playing in the NBA

LeBron could 100% have been a star tight end in the NFL. But there’s not a single NFL player that’s good enough to start on an NBA team.
@@skillethead15 How tf you know he would be a "star" in the NFL?
@skillethead15 you say that because why?? Measurable don't make you capable. Dude with measurable get drafted every year and fail
First off I honestly would love to see ANY NFL player create separation from any guard, yet alone get a shot off. The other problem is not a single NFL player is gonna be able to drive and make a layup on a PF or C who has trained every day to block shots from someone who moves like Kyrie and Steph. It’s just not happening, but if u send the tall athletic guard on a streak he could prolly just out jump his defender.

You are not going from bagging groceries to running 82 games with professionals for 36 minutes a night. But could I see a 6’6” NBA player be a trash Jamarcus Russell QB for a season, definitely. Or a 6’0” guard be a DB, I could.
@@koupedavill ohhhhh THAT Matt Ryan 😂. Not Matty Ice 😂! Even still, Andre Ingram, Kurt Warner, and Matt Ryan (Lakers lol) all still played after going undrafted and Matt had a large part to do with Covid. My point was stamina, I cannot see Aaron Rodgers 39, Joe Flacco 37, Matt Ryan (NFL LOL) 37, Russell Wilson 34, Geno Smith 32, etc running for 82 games with a QB’s stamina BUT I can see NBA players having enough stamina to make it through an NFL season especially at QB EVEN IF they would be statistically the worst in the league. NFL injuries are a part of the game so an NBA player getting injured would be par for the course, NFL players just wouldn’t be able to keep up with running with NBA players. Special teams, QB, punter, kicker, wide receiver. Tyler Lockett (5’10” 182lbs) and Marvin Harrison drop before contact and give themselves up. The transition from NFL to NBA will test your endurance and accuracy, the transition from NBA to ANY NFL spot will test your physicality. Either way it’s a slim chance I just believe a two way athlete that is a pro Football player will have a harder time getting to the NBA than vice versa.
The football players are incapable of playing basketball and reaching a high level. Period. Those nba players you speak of would dominate your sport.
@@L4-295 I think a basketball player could make the switch easier for sure. As soon as they get hit, they'll quit though. Not sure how that's dominating
Football players would be out there and all you'd see is FOULING, TRAVELLING AND TURNOVERS. 😂😂😂😂
I like this kind of heat against nba players
Lebron was all American in hs😂 he’d mess around n whoop bates ass😂
LeBrin soft ass ain't whooping shit lol
Bron to tall like Calvin Johnson they’ll wreck Bron legs quickly
Hs and the league too different beasts my boi
@@topnotchtajmahal7216 the dude they literally called “Megatron” in the NFL?
What does HS have to do with the NFL. How many players were great in HS but never made it. LBJ would get lit up in the NFL. It's two different worlds 🌎
Fun fact lebron was a higher football recruit than anyone on this podcast 🤣
This is very true football not always size its technique
Mo Allie-Cox played college hoops for VCU and is now in the nfl. It literally just depends on the individual
There’s so many stories like this, I know someone that played basketball for Miami (Ohio) for 4 years and football for one and made the nfl. It’s just easier to make the nfl, there’s 1400+ spots a year. Only 450 in the nba.
He got Lebron fucked up. Lebron played football in high school.
High school.
@@myfavoritelezbo767 Jimmy Graham played one season at UM and dominated the NFL. LeBron has more experience playing football than Jimmy Graham. If they couldn't stop Jimmy then they definitely can't stop LeBron
@@bogard887 That experience came in high school vs kids he was 3X bigger than. You’d think someone named Bogard would get that concept. Point being just like Bates said Lebron played in *HS* he not gonna be technically sound enough to play in the NFL. Have you never seen Hard Knocks? They send big ass niggaz home every training camp that have way more experience then Lebron.
darren a big talker but he might actually be right on this one lmao
i feel like nba to nfl is more achievable for the sole fact that nfl rosters have 7x as many spots, more rounds in the draft. more undrafted nfl players do better than undrafted nba players(thats granted they even get into a game). yes nfl is more brutal on your body but theres forsure some guys in the nba that can bare thru it, they prolly jus take advantage of the nbas softness to control the game more.
NBA takes more skilled these boys just defending their favorite sport
Any NFL player would be in the NBA if they could. One requires pure athleticism to be good at. The other requires athleticism, skill, and raw talent
LeBron and Iverson would have both been Hall of Fame Football players if they choose that path. If your good at both basketball is always the way to go financially
antonio gates watching this like 👁️👄👁️
Basketball is the harder sport to play because it takes countless hours to acquire the necessary skills. Football is the harder sport to learn because of how technical it is and how much information has to be processed regardless of the position you play.
There have been basketball players drafted to become TE’s and lineman. It depends on the physicality and ability to adapt.
Neither one can play each other's sports
The argument should be can hockey players play in the NFL. They are the only ones tough enough to even have a chance and only some of them are close to big enough
I know someone that played 4 years of college basketball and only one college football and made the nfl after he graduated lmao. 1400+ players play every single season compared to 450 in the NBA lmao it’s not that exclusive.
Both sports are immensely difficult and immensely different. The main difference is physicality.
Anybody saying a basketball player on that football field can survive is crazy but football turned basketball player can work
All NBA players see is broken ankles or 6 easy fouls 😂
Realistically Most basketball players played football at one point but not every football player played basketball
I guess they forgot about Tony Gonzales. Dude was a beast at Basketball too.
Hate playing “football” players in basketball
Football is literally the easiest sport to play skill wise. There’s so many guys who only played a few years and still made it to the league.
I watched a lot of bball players walk out of football because they didn’t like contact.
I broke my back 😂 spinal 😂 killa is a nut lol
football players be exaggerating all the time. smh I played both and it's just a matter of if you can take and deliver hits.
Fellas let them know! Regardless if you played in high school or not your out of practice.
