Also - for class pass i highly recommend emailing them, being super nice and they may refund you for the past few months that you never used. I was accidently paying for better help for 7+ months (over $2000 i literally never used), i called them and they refunded it all! I was soooo shocked so that’s just a tip for anyone facing something similar :)

I need to start doing this every month. I eat out once a week and I feel like I need to cut that back. You're right lil' things add up quickly and I need to realize that!!

  • @MissMizzle27

Thank you for being so honest and real in this type of video! Last summer, I also discovered that I had the problem of spending too much money on restaurants/takeout/groceries every month, but a few tips I have learned since then: 1. If the delivery cost is going to be more than the actual food order, then I figure something else out. Where I live, a lot of places will deliver for free if you spend over a certain dollar amount, so if I really just could not be bothered (or was not physically able) to go pick up food from somewhere curbside, then I found a place that had free delivery. Sometimes this even deters me from getting takeout altogether, so this is a win/win. 2. Sometimes I tend to go to Starbucks a few too many times during the week, but it's mostly because I want a different kind of coffee than I can make at home. So, instead of buying the $5 cold brew every day after work, I splurge a little bit at the grocery store to buy the Starbucks brand already made cold brew so I can have something comparable at home. Is it quite as good? No, but I'm saving so much money throughout the week that the difference is worth it. Same goes for ordering takeout. Since I generally know what my favorite go-to options are, purchasing something in the frozen dinners section or snacks that are similar generally keeps me away from spending the extra money on a takeaway. 3. I work at a drug store with a limited food/snacks/candy section, and often times I fall into the trap of buying small $2-5 pick me ups throughout my shifts and during the week. Welp, those add up pretty quickly if you do that basically every day. To combat this, I took notice of which snacks caught my eye and which individual items I purchased the most, so I could then buy in bulk a lot cheaper at the grocery store and just bring said snack in with me. It doesn't save a ton of money, but hey, every dollar counts.

Apple charges could be anything you might've bought/rented in terms of music, movies, tv shows, or books/audiobooks through Apple TV/iTunes or Books. I know when I buy stuff they sometimes group it all together into one charge so you might not remember spending that number all at once. But I have the Apple Card so it tells me specifically what all is included in that charge, which is why I thought of it when you were having this problem
Or it could be something totally different! Not sure if you use any of those things

It does look like lifestyle creep. Also, 400$ for ordering food? That's still a lot, imo. Most ppl on CZcams spend 50-150$ and that's for a family of 2-3. Maybe you should consider investing more in snacks and getting already cooked meals from the supermarket, that should be cheaper than ordering food. Good luck!
