This session will provide practical tools, strategies, and recommendations to help new (and existing) managers with maximizing their management and leadership success.

If yiu were working hard you could never get ahead. You have stopped working so you went ahead. Those are individual qualities. I dont think thise are generational trends. If you are workholic you would be individual contributor and not keep looking at others. Sounds this person is thinking everything other than doing work.
