    Lebron and Kwai would essentially be like the modern day version of MJ and Scottie Pippen..Translation: Unstoppable duo of athletic two way wing players...The only team that would be able to compete is Goldenstate only because of the combined might of Curry and KD.

      Leonard was the Finals MVP for his team. That feat alone may push him above Scottie... not completely sure though probably have to wait to see the entire career.

    • @jumpstart55million
      @jumpstart55million Před 6 lety

      +Duke Mussa Well to be fair...That season when MJ retired and the Bulls almost made the finals...Had they won said finals Scottie would have been finals MVP...The dude was hands down their best player at the time and averaging alitlte over 20 points a game that season...If I recall correctly.

    • @ShutThePuck
      @ShutThePuck Před 6 lety +8

      Kawhi's peak year offensively is better than any of Pippen's.

    • @unbiasvsbias3955
      @unbiasvsbias3955 Před 6 lety +1

      Duke Mussa Kawhi is ahead of Scottie for multiple other reasons too.
      Look up his recent spurs' playoff run stats. Combined that with his FMvP & 2x DPOY and he's easily a better player than Scottie.
      however, I truly believe Scottie was at the very least the better defender. He(Scottie) just wasn't blessed to be in a league with less quality defenders. Had kawhi competed against Hakeem, Alonzo, Gary Payton, Mutumbo, Sidney Moncrief, Dennis rodman and of course Jordan etc kawhi probably wouldn't had won a DPOY either.
      Oh well, can't hold that against kawhi. He's still a top notch player nonetheless.

    I’m a Houston fan but I think I’m not being biased by saying lebron would have the best shot at winning in Houston. Have y’all seen how harden is playing this year? And literally everyone on the roster but Clint capela can shoot. Clint is also becoming really good at his role at being a long disrupter in the paint and has a good knack in the pick and role. It would really be incredible to see them play

      I was shocked too. 'Cause I thought about lack of talent and Noah's horrendous contract. Then thought it through:
      Easy to see Hardaway jr. and Courtney Lee as your Kyle Korver and JR Smith. Porzingis ain't comparable to Kevin Love but we're talking about an all-star in the making as well. Knicks have a solid defense without LeBron already, Ntilikina can instantly fill the role of Shumpert (and potentially a lot more), squad is deep on bigs and LeBron plus NY attracts free agents. They're pretty much short IT (who's a free agent anyway) and some outside shooting while being much better defensively with LeBron on the team.
      Spurs and Philly are much better options but I don't see New York that far behind the Cavs once you subtract LeBron. Cleveland being hometown and having a system built over years and playoff experience speaks for the Cavs though.
      It won't be New York but I wouldn't go so far and call it a crazy thought

    Is it just me who thinks Simmons, LeBron and Embiid's playstyles would clash too much to be massively successful considering they're all dominant inside players? LeBron isn't really an incredible long range shooter neither is embiid although he's okay for a centre. And Simmons doesn't even take shots outside 6 feet

They’re both averaging around 10 assists per game and have a top 3 offense on top of a top 10 defense. I think you mean OKC. 3 ball hogs, but Harden, CP3, and LeBron are all unselfish players

      Erik Lerstrom Cp3, Harden and Lebron also don't share the same position, Cp3 -s point god, Harden is shooting god and Lebron is "small"god? .... is that right? LoL. Lebron also likes a fast phased game similar to Houstons in which he can execute his superman dunks and all, he also likes to play alongside a good playmaker which is cp3 and several snipers headed by the beard.

      @Lawrence : not when you account for the higher pace of play back then. I've seen his stats before; it's hard to compare players from very different eras, including that WC spent most of his career when there were only a few teams. I'd say that he was the best player of his era, though, and LeBron and MJ are the best of the modern era. Kobe should still never enter the discussion; I read somewhere that his team's winning percentage when he sat on and before the Phil era was something like 56%.

    • @g9kyra
      @g9kyra Před 6 lety +1

      Philly just needs to stay healthy, that's it. They make smart decisions and got the cap space. Simmons and LeBron are as elite a passer as it gets, that alone opens up so many opportunities. Personally I'd throw a bit of money at Tyreke Evans. He got upside, can shoot, works both as a starter and off the bench and is a potential insurance as a ballhandler for both Simmons and Fultz but can play SG as well and is clutch at times. If Philly really gets LeBron, don't count out that DWade follows or you get guys for cheap. Trevor Booker might stay for not too much, Redick could resign for way less. With Embiid, Simmons, Saric, Fultz alone you are attractive to free agents. LeBron? Jabari Parker for 1 year and see if he stays healthy? Paul George? Why not?
