But the waifu i want aqua to get with is ruby hoshi-
Ngl I'm a little sad he didn't start with "Welcome to baldcast"
Bald of you to assume that!
I feel like that joke might be a bit too bald for him.
ikr? that was so bald of him
I'll just say, let's appreciate Akane's blush when SHE is watching Kana after her performance đ€
24:12 About this image, you see that Akane is talking about filling the missing pieces of a puzzle and we see Ai's portrait which is almost complete, but there is some missing piece. I'm pretty sure it symbolises how Akane knows most of Ai's character, but there is some missing pieces to what she figured out about her. I think in last season, Akane said she understood Ai's character up to 90% (I'm not sure if this percentage is exact) and that is a visual metaphor of this. And there is a lot of missing pieces to the character she is playing, because of the direction that took the manga, leaving the character aside.
The image is comparing how acting AĂ is easier because she had more source material to work with.
Missing piece on ep 5đđ
14:18 yes, it is same band that did ending 4 of Jujutsu kaisen. Funny enough one of the people that made opening is artist Tatsuya Kitani that performed opening 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen(Gojo and Geto arc).
Himekawa's acting skills and presence are insanely good animated HOLY
Author: Oh wow.... they are so good at acting. So, let's make a whole new script đ
@@rf7182 nah its more like the script maintains a balance with what it expects from its actors and adherence to the source material, what will end up happening is you are gonna end up with a very difficult script for the actors when its rewritten
It is so cool how akane goes into playing a character it's like solving a puzzle
she's the isagi of the entertainment world
@@ikmaen thats funny cause i got reminded of isagi when she mentioned egotistical "look at me" type of performance that Kana was giving off
It was nice to hear your take on why you like this show
I found out about Oshi no ko a year ago at the moment of 1st episode's release. After watching it, I knew I couldn't wait, so I started reading the manga and never regretted it. It's been a year, and I have never left it. I even started buying physical volumes because it became one of my the most favourite series.
For me, it has always been the psychology and characters' emotions, mental state, which, in my opinion, they explore really well. The manga made me bawl my eyes out many times, which is a sign for me.
I do regret that some people read the thing as it is and then are disappointed or confused because they never stop for a few minutes to analyse the situation, to think why character do what they do or etc. Many people are missing out on one of the greatest depictions of characters' psyche
I really liked this first episode. I caught up on the manga after s1 ended and this adaptation really does blow everything out of the water in terms of capturing everything good about the manga and elevating it. I guess Aka Akasaka's works just have some sort of pull that makes people want to do them justice.
This season is going to drop some bombshells later just wait and watch...đ„
I adore this arc because I feel like it encapsulates the series's biggest strengths. It does a great job at juggling the introspective character development and the entertainment industry insights without sacrificing much from either side. Coming from someone like Aka Akasaka who naturally has a decent amount of industry experience, it's such a treat to see his portrayal of the backstage goings-on while still getting to the meat of the characters themselves and the overarching narrative.
And all of that is why I'm very excited to see your guys' thoughts on this arc in particular, since your own personal insights on media production led to really great discussions last season, so I feel like there'll be a lot to chew on here.
It is so symbolic because today is a release day of the first episode of season 2 but also chapter 154 of manga which in my opinion is just a masterpiece. This chapter made the series even more painful and it is everything i've been thinking about for the last few hours
its always Shibuya dawgg, let em have their own peace day without the city getting obliterated every time new anime comes out
It's funny that people are triggered when they hear shibuya, but they don't realize that shinjuku is even worse

Great first epâ€â€â€
I honestly this episode in a kinda meta way did exactly what its preaching it cut or changed things from the manga like kana had a bit of a jealousy rant and her talking about how she doesn't like how directors put personal relationships and meta stuff like public relationships into film for viewers but instead they took kana's big acting moment and added to it to sell how good the other actor is and that kana isnt all talk theres also a moment with the mangakas they cut witch they will probably put in next episode to end on a more dramatic moment love to see that the production isnt missing the message of the story.
This was exactly what I was thinking when watching the episode. The essence of the story and the characters are the same but it just felt different. Not that its a bad thing, this probably suited the medium of anime better
@debdal6 ya it felt like documentary esc witch is probably why they didn't want to cut away and I think it worked well
That's why I've always said Oshi no Ko was guaranteed to get a good anime adaptation.
Because since the story itself calls adaptations out several times, making a bad one would be pretty humiliating and glaring, so if anyone picked up the manga to adapt it they'd HAVE to be confident in doing a good job. And clearly, they are.
â@@urtoryu_dy_althraidnthe adaptation is peak but the cut content in this episode had nothing to do with understanding the message of the story lol. They just had to cut some stuff because they decided to adapt 4 Full chapters in a single episode and there's not enough runtime for that. Next week onwards they will adapt 3 chapters each episode, so the cut content should stop

14:35 I love this analysis here, this is exactly what I thought when I saw this scene so itâs cool to finally see a reactor pick up on this too. Like it feels like it should be obvious but I think a lot of reactors get caught up in the moment of the reveal that no one really actually thinks about why she wants to revise the whole thing.
BOLDcast more like BALDcast đđđ
The OP actually shows a character that doesn't show up until after the theater arc, so it's not going to take up the whole season.
Ed has a keychain too. And considering season 1 covered 40 episodes and chapter 80 of the manga is a turning point, pretty sure they'll end the season there.
wow, i dont usually watch your reaction (because I saw one of your older reaction and I'm not agreeing with your takes) but your takes to this eps change my view of you guys, so I will be watching your reaction to oshi no ko onwards
great
Akane did the Fern face! I was all #TeamKana but the Fern face was just too much!

Have you guys thought of reacting to horror animes, like Shiki or Tokyo Ghoul or Monster or Hell Girl? I suggest you look into them and maybe do like a halloween special specially with short animes like Shiki or Mononoke
No matter what happens kana is best girl đ€
Unrelated, but are you guys gonna watch tower of god season 2?
YES
@@BOLDcast let's gooooo!!!
i am not sure about ur point being in the minority about liking production part of the show the most
of course i can't know your comments more than you do but as far i as i am aware, most manga fans of oshi no ko prefer entertainment industry moments including explaining production and stuff more than they like revenge plotline.
dunno about anime onlies though
What ever happened to fruits basket đ not gonna lie I thought it was every other Wednesday but idk yâall schedule
Why is he shitting on Akane so much bruh
Probably kana fan but don't worry akane will prove them wrong
Day 100 of asking to react to Pluto
Maybe slightly spoilery comment alert:
And enters Himekawa Taiki, who together with Shiranui Frill makes up the "side characters who are way too cool for how little screen time they get" team.
why every time i try to watch these guys' reactions they make me feel dumb and stupid for liking anime. I really hope youtube could block also specific channels when you search for something.
Wtf are you even talking about
