Now in 2021, I want to buy this car used. This car is perfect for sports driving on streets and on Nürburgring. The used price is almost same as used i30N. Both cars are very nice hot hatch but the DSG sound by this car is soo attractive.

Actually, the difference between GTI and R engines are different cylinder head, forged pistons and bigger turbo.

SunLoverMan Yeah I love the Golf R engine as it pulls hard all the way up to redline, unlike most turbo engines which flat line before 6k rpm.

What’s wrong with the roof. I’ll not be impressed if you say your all for wrapping the roof.
I love the light and the actual sun rays shining through with a sunroof.
If you’ve not had one. Try one. I couldn’t think of anything worse than dingy lighting on top of a really nice car.

And this is coming from a 2015 MK7 Golf R owner...F-you VW for giving us in the USA a cheapened out version of the R with no roof, LED tails, crappy 5.6 inch infotainment BS, no folding mirrors, no power passenger seat, and a friggin armrest that doesn't open. I'm done with your half-assed products after this car...This GTI Clubsport has 10x the things my R has in it. Stop disappointing us here.
