    Awesome work mate. I just picked these guys up along with Cursed City, I've warmed upto the idea of using contrast paints due to the amount of plastic to paint, tutorials like this are great for speeding up the process. Keep it up mate.

    While red and green are complimentary colors, I find it can be a very dangerous combination because if you are not careful, you will quickly end up painting what looks like a Christmas ornament.

    How do you do so thin layer of paint on your brush, then you make a final highlights? I dont indetstand...!

    • @ThePaintingCoach
      @ThePaintingCoach  Před 3 lety

      Thin the paint with water/medium - if there is a sharp edge, drag the tip of the brush along it, otherwise use the point of the brush - make sure to not have too much paint on the brush also

    • @ThePaintingCoach
      @ThePaintingCoach  Před rokem

      Really depends on how you want them to look. Dark crimson try khorne red, bright and bloody try evil sunz

  • @MrElliptific
    @MrElliptific Před 3 lety +1

    Another great tutorial. May I ask why you used Nun oil over gold and not Agrax or Sepia? I would have thought that a reddish/brown shade you fit better a golden background than black.
