@@alessandra4930 I think this will be a really useful pocket unit to store the tour photos and descriptive text regarding the tour. Seems each piece of ephemera has a purpose. Well I seem to be able to find a special use.
Whilst watching your videos this morning it occurred to me that I am going to put together an exercise book or journal with a sample of the unit discussed and notes and usage suggestions. That way I have all in one place and samples. Thanks Sweetheart for your easy and instructional videos. I love your style.

I love the way you let the old book pages show in your projects. I hate the thought of completely covering beautifully aged paper. Different fonts and colors of paper are so pretty.

I stopped the video to look for some paper, what a nice pocket. I'm tearing an example with a piece of white paper. So now I've written it on my example. hope it works. And yes i like to make a zigzag or a length stitch with the machine. but i often forget so i wrote this on my example. was again a nice video and you always explain it very well. very nice to watch. this is a very nice pocket

I do like sewing on paper, but I don’t back stitch because I’m afraid I might stitch a hole into the paper. I cut the thread short and put a dab of glue on the thread at the end. These little books are adorable. Thanks for using the newer books, they are more affordable and easier to find than the vintage books.

I'd use that woodland page spread as a cover... trying to find that book as I watch this.
So I made something similar to this project but inserted folded (to fit) old-looking lined paper for journaling - instead of ephemera, into the pockets, as well as for the notebook.

Very enjoyable video, Joie, and I always learn a lot from your videos. As an aside, I don't use stitching in my JJs or tags, etc. I don't care for the look, and can't be bothered to get out my machine in any case, although I do occasionally draw in fake stitch lines in the right spot. I sometimes like the added texture of an occasional snippet of fabric, like tulle, but stitching, whether for structure or for decoration, doesn't appeal to me. (You did ask!)

I always start my seams the way you showed. I find it eliminates most of the thread jams, especially on fabric!

I love this video. I made a stack too ! Just because I wasn't very inspired, but I wanted to make something.. sometimes it helps to just make something to get you going. But I'm wondering: what do you, Joie, or anyone reading this, would suggest doing with that 'notebook: in this on folder/pocket? I don't really know how to use it, or what to use it for. But I loved making it. And I will definitely give these away in a happymail!! Lots of love.
@tigerlily.... don't tell anyone but I made these with you in mind. I think that notebook is great for writing on..... we're just accustomed to writing on plain paper. Break the rules. Or collage on top. Or tear off sheets. And it's got Happy Mail written all over it....enjoy!! 🍄👍🏻😁💜💜💜
