Rise of the tomb raider is definitely better than it's predecessor, don't get me wrong I liked the previous Tomb Raider but I found the puzzles too easy. This game had answered my prayers and gave me puzzles that had me scratching my head a few times and an amazing song to go with it to boot.
Of all 3 Tomb Raider games since 2013, this one is my favorite. The mountains setting was great as well as the story campaign. The soundtrack is just so powerful sounding. I was hoping Shadow of the Tomb Raider's soundtrack would be similar but I guess not. Instead it has more of a tribal sound since it's based mainly in the jungles. It's still good, just not as good as this in my opinion. This track here for some reason gives me that classic TR vibe from the earlier games.
Yes I agree. As mechanics and looks Shadow of the TR is the closest one to Tomb Raider, but Rise has the Tomb Raider vibe done at its best. I honestly am not fan of the tribal music in Shadow. I wish they've done the mechanical buffs back in Rise of the TR. It'd have felt great!
Thx for viewing. I love the in-game version, because you can hear the best sounds in the track clearly, and the soundtrack version is covering up the best parts with very low volume. :D
Its just one melody that increases the longer the song goes on and you only have verses when you have lyrics it does not apply to an instrumental melody
Thanks! Well the reason I created this was exactly because of all of our reasons. I couldn't find the real version of the soundtrack anywhere. So I recorded it from the game. The difference is huge as all of us can hear.
I've been through the whole OST and have hardly found anything I recognize. Almost as though the whole thing is just music taken from cutscenes. But all of the awesome ambient stuff I hear in the loading screen or when I come across a puzzle etc. seems to have been left out. Hopefully some kind of deluxe edition comes out at some point.
Exactly. All the old Tomb Raider soundtracks contained everything music wise from a game. Todays soundtracks try to be more like a singers album than containing the soundtrack of the game.

Yeah. One of the best video game music themes hands down...Up there with the Uncharted 4 bossfight and the Last of Us main theme...And the Life is Strange theme...Man I pay too much attention to OST's lol...
Can't believe this banger was only played in ONE OPTIONAL TOMB! It sounds amazing! Really gives you a sense of wonder with all the ancient history around you and what people left here thousands of years ago. This soundtrack really feels like an ancient civilisation has hidden secrets here untouched for centuries and if you're gonna make a game called tomb raider why is raiding tombs optional?!

@@AdamDawson3 Thanks! I had no idea how to split both parts depending on the preference of the viewers so what I came up with was 'verse'.
