Lyrics:
Killers, thieves, thick of skin
Till your ruthless trial begins
Let the judge’s words sink in
A lifetime on the Isle of Sin
(Vocalizations)
Welcome to the Isle of Sin
Jagged rock, sea slick caves
No way out but the ten foot waves
You’ll cry out to be saved
No reprieve for the criminal slave
(Vocalizations)
Welcome to the Isle of Sin
Cursed stone, blessed ore
Swing your pick till you hit the floor
Break your filthy backs some more
Until you strike the mithral score
(Vocalizations)
Welcome to the Isle of Sin
With your life, pay your dues
Work or die, it’s yours to choose
You’ve got nothing left to lose
The sharks await should you refuse
That empty look behind your eyes
No soul of a man left there to find
No hope within these iron tides
You’ll work these mines till the day you die
Welcome to the Isle of Sin

POV: your party rests in the tavern and the bard and the rogue have finally figured out a way to earn some coin without the need to commit war crimes or break all laws of the city you're currently in
yet another banger, can't wait for more
Which ones which in this equation? I’m curious.
@@leifjungblom7659 I'd say that Chase is a College of Lore bard/Mastermind rogue multi-class while Colm is College of Valor bard/Swashbuckler rogue.
@@thelorewrightPerhaps a College is Swords bard for master McGuinness, but definitely a Swashbuckler.
@@elizabethtravis7332 I was thinking Valor because they're more Skald than fighter to me. College of Swords is more actual fighters, at least in my mind.
@@thelorewright I see. In your mind, which of the two would be more likely to pick a sword and start using it, we’re they both in an actual fantasy setting?
LORD NOSEWORTHY HAS DROPPED ANOTHER TRACK!
2 of my favorite singers
Chase could 100% play some devil character with that voice at 2:20
That part gave me chills in the best possible way. I Love it.
Boy that part took me off guard. Such force in the voice there, it'a great
I am still flabbergasted by how you are able to get Colm Mcguiness for your songs.
Blackmail and extortion
@@ChaseNoseworthy xDDD
Hell yeah another collab from my favorite bards
Isle of Sin sounds like an intruiging campaign idea for a party thats chaotic, evil, or even just framed
Had that exact thought!
Damn, that growl!
Been waiting for this since critter talks with nico
man this and "life of a mercenary" take the cake as the best works that chase has
Well I am stealing this for my D&D campaign.
Absolutely wonderful work as usual gentlemen!
yeah same
Don't mind me, just gonna add this to my bedtime playlist... 🌹
This is just awesome. Love it when two like-minded artists do something together.
I discovered you through your blacksmith song and after listening to your other songs I can safely say you deserve way more subscribers than you currently have
Already excited about a new song but to be a colab with colm mcguinness. Talk about a dream colab 😍. Amazing job to both of you.
Their collab ahhh🤩
Only discovered chase yesterday been following colm for a while though this song is great
*picks up concept and plops it wholesale into Eberron campaign' Another excellent song by two of my favorite musicians.
Yea I love using songs for worldbuilding.
Than it makes it like the thing is so weel known that people have songs about it, like we do in our world
THIS IS SO COOL! CONGRATS ON THE COLLAB!❤🤩
You've come so far from your initial videos. Love to see the progress. Your voice remains epic :)
This is becoming a place in my D&D
I found this yesterday on Spotify on which I follow both of you two and immediately loved it. I was not expecting a collab, but I'm not sure there's a better combo.
This sounds almost blues like, but with that growl at the third part captured an under current of fire that makes me feel something deeper. I really love this.
That growl!
Another masterpiece! Both of you did incredible!
gotta love the bardic hearth, the tracks are so good that it travels across the multiverse to my game table XD
More like a miners dirge than a shanty. But I'm not complaining. "Ting, ting, ting." Can I have some more Sirs.
nice to see a collab between two amazing musicians
fantastic! And so glad to see you working with Colm
Well this is a collab from two very handsome fellas!!!
Yesssss I've had this on repeat for DAYS, so good!
Oh man, now I want to use this in an Escapists-style prison break in D&D!
love your voice.
good prison style song i'ma steal it for a prison escape style campaign
I cant stop listening to this great job you guys
The fact is, sun does hold people prisoner and rob them of their souls.
This is SO good.
Knocking it out of the park as always.
best fucking cross over episode ever
I love your recent songs, they're so inspiring.
Anyone else want to see a collab between Chase and Sail North?
YES
As someone who has listened to this since it dropped on Spotify, I’m glad to finally have a music video 🤩⛏️👍🏼
2 of the greatest voices I've heard together, absolutely amazing
Nicely done, gentlemen.
Remember: shanties are for rhythmic work at sea (such as hoisting sails, rowing, weighing anchor, etc.), otherwise they're songs.
Not gonna lie it was a bit of shameless clickbait, many folks think all nautical-themed folk songs are shanties and are much quicker to click on a video that says “shanty” than “folk song” so . . . I sold out lol.
Dang, two of my favorite musicians in the same video, it's a good day
Man I just found you the other day and you've done nothing but impress. Keep up the good work my guy!
Another day another Banger
YOOOOO
This could be a really cool dnd Champaign idea where the party is wrongly convicted of some for of crime and they start with almost no equipment the whole goal is to just get off the isle of sin.
damn this is awesome, love it
Added to playlist❤🔥🔥
Amazing!
Definitely loving this and going to try to find an excuse to use this for some dnd thing 😊
That was really cool...I liked it.
Amazing collab!! I’m so glad y’all did another song with each other, your voices go so well together! I got chills at your rasp at 2:20! How much whiskey did you chug for that insane vocal?? 🤣
None if you can believe it 😂
@@ChaseNoseworthy that is crazy! I am very impressed at the lack of whiskey chugging! 🤣
Yoooo i caught this early! Like number 250! Wonderful track dude!!
I like!
My two favorite vocalists, yall should collab on a critical role song!
So glad to hear this here! You have beautiful dulecet tones!
This is so awesome!
HELL YEAH
Bro❤
CHASE/COLM I just can't believe how perfectly they mash up. Plus, the (Isle of sin) come on what more can you ask for. I've not stopped repeating this video.
I have just one question!! Can I visit the Isle of sin and get tempted by both Chase and Colms voices like male Sirens?
AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH
Ooooo me like.
D&D??? WOW
Legit 🍅✨
For ye old algorithm!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wait…..this is just about Australia.
Perfect song for Kraken Week 😁
Wish I could say this was on purpose. I wasn’t invited to the party so I threw a party of my own 😤
Bards
The gathering
🎶
O.O
Hey, how come I cant find Finnik the Chainbreaker on your channel, but instead only on Spotify or on CZcams as a "channelname - topic" video?
Will you be uploading the finnick the chainbreaker to the main channel?
Not to this channel, no, all of the songs like that one which I do for my commission raffle series on TikTok will be released on streaming services but I plan to keep this channel specialized to the Critical Role and more generalized D&D songs :)
@@ChaseNoseworthy alright, keep up the amazing work 🫡
sounds more of a dwarf working song than a shanty
Will Colm have you too soon?
Is this for Kraken Week or is it just coincidence?
Complete coincidence 😂
@@ChaseNoseworthy a pity. I would have been ecstatic to see Colm and you be part of it.
But Kraken Week or not, this is a quality song and I am pleased to have heard it. Well done sir!
