Is the rear camera weatherproof for convertibles
30 fps is fine. We're not making a Spielberg movie.

Great review - just bought one of these and am impressed. Just make sure those weird electrostatic sticker things are only behind the mount and not the lens - you can cut them to size. I had to watch some videos on YT to understand how to use them. Pop the card out for file transfers. Also if running a rear camera - make sure you route it through the rubber wire pipe (takes a few mins of hard effort). Their app is available from their forum and gives a fab view of the camera feeds and gps. Hard to view the videos otherwise because the codecs are weird. If viewing the videos on VLC ensure you have hardware acceleration enabled (auto).
Still having problems setting up wifi as it does not sgow up in my options

Thank you so much for the feedback 👍, The playback smoothness is the same compared to my other 4K 30FPS channel dash cam I reviewed it from the pass.
So no, I don't find play back not normal for 4K 30FPS,, Just will be better if they use 60FPS instead, 60FPS = Smoother, but I don't think they have that for dual channel.

You may want to check the specs on this unit. The "4K" setting only records at 25fps, plus it is only 4Mp format so I don't think it can reallly be classed as true 4K. Regardless, the videos are probably as good or better than most other dashcams available.
I bought this camera box came plastic seal brand New but I notice memory card was already instilled in the the camera does thus mean camera was already used? I got it box plastic seal .your came like that too with memory card installed

LINGDU has the rear info LED.
30 fps is standard digital record. And my More expensive LINGDU also takes 2 min to down load.
Thanks for the beautiful and thoughtful video. But there is something important here that does this camera have the ability to record only if a person approaches the car? Do you mean when the car is parked and not when it is driving?
No it doesn't, only if the person made vibration to the car, need to set G sensor to most sensitive level, and need to install a car kit directly to the 12v battery.

I'm not getting quality close to that on my front camera, I have to be about 6 feet away from the car in front of me to be able to read the plate number. Perhaps I got a defective unit?
Thanks for sharing your results, before we conclude if defective unit, let's go through some check list and see if any tips to improve the video quality.
#1 Make sure your windows is clear and clean，and Dash Cam lens is clean. Also remember to peel the protective lens stickers from both dash cams.
#2 Make sure lens is as close to the window to reduce glare.
Give it a try and see if any improvements 🤞
which samsung tab is best for doing work like MS office , and heavy software
Galaxy tab S8 will be the one powerful and capable for heavy stuff like video editing etc.
If you want bigger screen with more RAM the Galaxy tab s8+ or Ultra.
All of the S series tablet can turn to desktop mode via DEX to monitor, TV, or laptop which will give you a better MS office experience.✌️
But for the best experience for MS office Laptop or computer will have the best experience.
Just bought one of these, and I have bought a hardwire kit to fit it to a permanent live cable for the Parking Monitoring feature!
But I'm worried that having it constantly powered on will flatten the cars battery!
Thx for sharing, hard wire kit for sure will drain the car battery significantly.
If you drive your car often should not be a problem, if not, you might have to idle your car at least once a week.

@@chrisbyrne8176I believe the hardware kit comes with an auto shut off when the battery voltage is too low to prevent your car battery from going completely flat.

The unit that I received has memory card separate from the dash. If you look closely from my unboxing of the video, memory card is in it's case, not installed in the dash cam.
Look closely from my unboxing video, look and see if there are any protective stickers on the lens of the camera, are the wires folded like it came from the factory etc... If your unboxing experience seems messy packaging not neat then probably it's used.
If everything is neat, then maybe they pre - installed the memory card from the factory.
For my experience, I've done a few AzDOME product review but so far haven't had any dash came with pre installed memory cards.
Once again, check the other items to see if it's messy or not before we determine it's used. ✌️

Is the wifi meant to come on every time the unit boots up? I've changed the setting but seems to come on every time i start the car
The wifi should only comes on when you manually turn it on. Not normal if it always turns on every time during boot.

Bought two of the m300s - seems I can't get the GPS to work. On neither of them. Azdome is of no great help. The reseller where I bought the second one is even worse. Firmware is the newest available. Still no GPS. Help anybody?
How do you know it is not working? the GPS led doesn't light up?
@@dzpliu GPS doesn't light up and no speed / coordinates on the video. Neither life nor when downloaded. At the same time, GPS on my smartphone is working just fine.

My camera does not save any recordings...I am using onn SD card 64gb.. please help
Try to format the SD card see if that works. If not try a different card, format 1st before using. Male sure the SD card is type he rating so it's fast enough for the dash came to write. 👍
