I only watched to the end to see if he ever figured out that he had mixed up the Rice & Vegetable with the Vegetable Barley.
A surprising amount of calories in that HDR. Contents looked palatable - maybe even tasty. I wouldn't turn it down if it fell out of the sky into my backyard. Nice review. Cheers.

I think two different things are being mixed up here. In the picture of the thumbnail, you asked if you can survive with this, but the test depends more on taste buds. The necessary calories are there on the package, so yes. You can get by with the package, and if you're stranded by a flood or hurricane and haven't eaten for a few days, I'm pretty sure it'll do without being picky.
Pop tarts? And soup? I'd be ok.

Components Haven't changed much. I think like other rations, portions are getting smaller? Food looks awesome as always. Sometimes they are bland, agreed. Usually after some seasoning, they taste pretty good. I'm glad you had some fun, and A good meal. Everyone take care your way. Peace, John.

Nice ration. atleast you did not get the banana smouthy in this one. I hated it.
Humanitarian rations suck. They are all vegetarian! And no flameless ration heaters. Crackers jam and peanut butter are the best part.
wait? Humanitarian? are they preparing for something hmmm?
They have made these for decades now, they drop them in disaster and war torn areas.
