Hey man, I appreciate your videos, and I am a new subscriber with a similar mindset financially / lifestyle / point in life. I drive a Mercedes and am considering stepping up to a 2013 - 2016 Grand Turismo for my next daily, but I don’t trust the reliability. It would be a daily driver for me; although I have a secondary vehicle, it still scares me away. I will watch your content to see how this car holds up with more miles and daily driving usage over time.
I own a 2014 Maserati GarnTurismo Coupe and I agree with you, one gets a lot of attention. Not only because of its beautyful design, but also because it is very rare. Here in Germany the Maserati GranTurismo has about 150 admissions the year, while a Porsche 911 has about 7500. Already that shows how seldom it is. On street crossings many other peolple let me pass by just to have a look, while driving I get a lot of thumbs up or people even make videos. While in parking lots of shopping centers people asked me to start the engine, just to hear the sound, and so on, and so on... I own it about a year and up to now I had had no problems, neither the prior owner. Maintenace cost are higher as on other luxury cars i.e. a Mercedes Benz S-Class which I own as well. While labour cost are relatively equal the parts are much more expensive as on a Mercedes Benz S-Class. Typical things like brake disc, oil filter, air filter, etc. cost about twice or more for the Maserati. What I like are the relatively long maintenance peridods of about 20000km ( 13000 miles ) or every two years. I will have to let do the 10 years maintenance and I have been told it will cost about EURO 2000.00 ( US$ 2200.00 ). Insurance cost here in Germany is about EURO 2400.00 / year ( US$ 2600.00 / year ). Fuel consumption is high, but I do not care about it, since the car is a lot of fun. I need about 15liters / 100km ( 15mi / gallon ). As you mentioned in other of your videos, it is a fast car, but not extreme sportive. I like to call it a sportive luxury car. Anyhow, even driving it fast, it feels save and confident. On our german Autobahn I drove it a few times over 180mi/hour and did not even noticed it. In summary, a great car and I do not regret that I bought it !!!
I can totally agree, I own a charcoal grey with black rims 2019 GT sport and every time I go out in it I get lots of attention. Most that see it assume it's a Ferrari, I let them know that Ferrari had there hands in a lot of the production including the f136 engine.
Sick car! Definitely gets a lot of attention since it's one of the most exotic brands on the market and more prestigious than other brands like Aston Martin. Recently got a Ghibli Trofeo couple months ago and is a massive head turner
hey, i know i havent commented a lot in a while because a lot has happened. One of my brothers has learned how to ride a motorcycle and has now bought a 400cc one to learn. I also went on vacation to hawaii as well
Maserati losing the 4.7 v8 killed the heart and soul of the brand the sound. This is the last true Maserati. They needed to follow Lamborghini with the v12 na hybrid and go v8 na hybrid.
This video is all cap and lies. I just bought a Gran Turismo. Been driving it for 3 days. All I get was ONE girl who looked at it like she loved it. Besides her, I literally get ignored by everyone. I might as well have bought a rusted up 1998 Honda Civic. Other potential buyers, do NOT believe the hype train. No one in real life gives a crap about this car. I live in a middle class area where a Mercedes is the "rich people car" by the way. No other Maserati's in this whole city.
@@ProfessorDrives They can't see or sense my personality. If I park my car and walk away, they can't "smell my personality" when Im far away from the car. You're just making up BS lol. No one believe this guy, he's a liar and a shill.
Lot of attention from the mechanic😂
Do you own one…or are you just watching videos on poorly maintained ones and those are the only videos posted giving a negative impression?
Ouch!
Maserati use to be considered flashy and for rich people but most car people know its just a guy that got one becuase it depreciated into the dirt
