The main issue with F1 is that the drivers make it look easy. It’s not until you see a driver like Lewis Hamilton in a powerful road car with no traction control that a normal driver can appreciate just how talented and skilful they are. Fantastic!

this made me laugh lol. an F1 car is lightyears ahead of any sports road car in terms of everything. Lewis would be able to do this while drunk.
Great thing to do is to watch Richard Hammond of Top Gear try to drive a F1 car. It took him 20 start tries to get most of the way around a track, at which point he lost grip and was told "you're driving too slowly for the tyres to keep warm".

Lol it's a cool idea in theory but racing in street traffic is very different. They will eventually crash running red lights or stop signs. And all it takes is 1 police helicopter to stay on them and either they crash, eventually run out of fuel, or hit spike-strips and/or a roadblock, or get their electronics ECM jammed. It all depends upon how much the police take an interest in stopping you.
the police would be tom cruise the runner and jason statham the driver

That last question Louis asked Bolt (“Yo bro, you dead?”) is straight from the movie “Cool Runnings” which is about the Jamaican bobsled team. In the movie, there is a famous dialogue between 2 major characters (Derice and Sanka) who play 2 of the 4 bobsledders. The dialogue by Derice goes, “Yo Sanka, you dead mahn?”
And Sanka responds saying, “Yeah mahn”.
But in the end, Sanka asks the same question to the Derice and the latter responds saying, “No mahn, I’m not dead”.

They are extremely talented, switching off the traction control like a game, and for us its like ride a motorbike like a fool without helmet.
I can honestly say I’ve never experienced that level of fun! To have the king of speed throw you around one of the greatest tracks ever in my home town.

The first time I rode in a jet boat was after tramping the Reese and Dart tracks in New Zealand. We were picked up on a wide and straight part of the river, but had no idea what lay downstream. We took the first turn at 40mph into rapids with a HUGE bolder in the middle of the river with gaps each side that looked narrower than the boat. So imagine how surprised we were when he took the more narrow channel, and went through with the boat sideways still doing 40mph. That was the start of a 30 minute trip back to Glenorchy, and I was screaming with laughter the entire ride back. That was the most exciting half hour of my life, and I have raced motorcycles at 170mph. If you ever visit New Zealand and get to Queenstown, forget Shotover Jet. That's for the tourists. Drive up to Glenorchy and take a trip with Wilderness Jet, and you'll have your own Lewis Hamilton type experience.
