lol US still has Whites as Majority. If you think Poreo won because of racism then BP has more white in them. Poreo won fare and square although Blueprint definitely one of the best non winners along with Kaba Modern and Beat Freakz.
@@JT-bs2lm I never said racism had anything to do with it. Poreo came from California/west coast, which has the largest fanbase, and proximity is a major factor in voting. People are more likely to vote for a group that came from where they're from, simple as that. On the flip side, a lot of Blueprint's voters could and would have been from Canada, which, this being _America's_ Best Dance Crew, meant their strongest fanbase wasn't allowed to vote. So, yes, Blueprint was at a disadvantage because they were not from the US

This show should be called "america's most voted 4 dance crew". It's good the judges are unbiased and can pick up talent. Who is the best DANCE crew here, honestly? East should represent this year..

I've watched this way too many times but I finally figured out that they did the floating effect with a "fake leg". If you watch closely you can see the guy with the mask setting it on the ground around 1:46.They then place her atop of the leg. While she's floating you can see how awkward and disproportionate it kind of looks. But, kudos the girl because it still takes some skill to balance yourself out like that.
they were an awesome crew that was a great performance. coming from a choreographer who has worked with some of the best in the business. This was hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1:44 in the background, you can see the magician guy put something metallic on his leg 1:48 under the dancers leg you can still see the metallic object on the magician's leg. I suppose there is a metal late on which the girl lays down on and she just has to keep her body stiff. That is how it's done. For the rest of the dance (after the girl stops levitating) you can see the object, on the floor, behind all the dancers! :D I can't believe I actually figured it out! :P
Look, I know that a lot of people think that Poreotix was funner to watch, but personally, I think this crew was. They always had amazing choreography that was always different!! They could adapt so well to so many things, you never knew what to expect. It sometimes almost got a bit boring to watch Poreotix, because there was always so much popping. I know that's what they do, but it makes each of their routines that much more similar.
@wulfio Well, blueprint cru doesn't really seem like a crew you can remember. I said that any crew could have done what they did because blueprint's dancing seemed more like choreography without a particular style. Like food without flavor. I don't intend to be mean but it if i saw their performance say, before abdc, it wouldn't make me feel anything. But again, i admire their hard work and they really deserved to be in finale. I hope you dont think i'm contradicting myself there.

People say that Blueprint was the worst of the two because they were in the bottom a lot, but that doesn't mean a thing. Poreo deserved to win, but Blueprint deserved it more. Oh well, they were good sports and overall this was a great season.
I think the reason Poreotics won is because they brought something new to the table. The thing about crews like Blueprint and Jungle Boogie is that... we've seen it all before. Poreotics brings a flavor that the hip hop community hasn't had much of a taste of, and they bring a lot of it. They proved twice that they're the best new crew in the US. (They won the US national competition, which is judge based, not viewer based). I'm not discrediting Blueprint Crew; It's just my opinion.
im canadian and i vote, every canadian watching this remember just go to the abdc website and vote that way, us canadians have to vote for them blueprint rules
The thing about seasons 1-4 is that, regardless of how screwy the voting and orders of elimination were, the right crews took the title for their respective seasons in the end (although seasons 2 and 3 are debatable). Unfortunately, I don't think that was the case for Season 5. Don't get me wrong, I really liked Poreotix, but the final 2 should have been Blueprint and Jungle Boogie, with Blueprint winning, and with Poreotix taking a close, well-deserved 3rd place.
@BrownieObsession uh only a person who watches ABDC would think like that, they are what they are, Poreotics does popping, Blueprint does hip hop choreography, both have been done before on the show, not to mention Nic from BP who also does bboying and is highlighted immensly.

@saijinkai I know what you mean about personality, but Poreotix only sticks to one style, and Blueprint has so many different styles in each of their performances. This is a dancing competition.
That and the fact that Blueprint's main goal is to convince their government to give back the funds for the arts and help their peers break out into the mainstream. It's already a win-win situation for them.

Surely, it would be Poreotix vs. Blueprint in the finals. As for the winner: 1) Blueprint may get the "underdog story" kind of win after being in the bottom two for like how many weeks. 2) MTV might pull another "Status Quo" and give the win, not just to Blueprint, but to the East Coast in general. But regardless, being 2nd still can't beat the fact that they've become a lot more popular. Look at Kaba Modern (the real 2nd placer), Beatfreakz, and So Real Cru.
Check out the guy (forgot his name) playing the illusionist "fixing" something on his knee at 1:47...and throughout the levitation part, he held his leg in just one position. Same with Franz when he demonstrated it to the crew.

Poreotix has a lot of fun and charm and that goes a long way. It's not always about technique, but also originality and personality all combined. Tough choice
@everenferno Who was the 2nd foreign crew in season 6? 787 Crew isn't foreign because Puerto Rico is an American territory, and competitions like these not only are open to the US, but also to it's territories.

Ok, here's the deal with poreotix. To win abdc you must first entertain the crowd, which is what they committed to just like quest and jabba. They were unique and had a different style. Blueprint on the other hand WORKED their asses off, their choreo was amazing! BUT at the end of the day any other crew could have done what they did, it wasn't as fun to watch. Poreotix won becuz they were popular and different. I don't play favorites i think both crews are amazing but america gets the last word.
first of all in the first episode they said that dancing is not that big in canada, thats why they are not getting votes. they have to start from scratch just like every other crew did before they entered abdc. blueprint is a talented crew and they killed it this week, but start disrespectin poreotix like they dont kill it either. may the best dance crew win. when poreotix win, im not goin to rub in the face of the haters, im simply gon send yall a reminder on who is abdc's champ

The only reason Nick's bboying is highlighted almost all the time is because the judges love bboying. Also, not trying to rag on Poreo. I love them.
This illusion was amazing. Anyone got any idea how the illusion was done? And while we're on the subject, how did Beat Freaks go with that levitating ball? I bet it was remote controlled! But how'd they levitate Natalie?

I really like this crew but I'm born & raised west coast, the #1 in votes always lost in the season finale but if this crew does win then that means it took CANADA to beat the west (nothing against Canada)
@water4600 i completely disagree with you saying anyone can do what blueprint does. Blueprint are mostly classicly trained dancers. Their formations, and lines are something that untrained dancers simply cannot duplicate. Their choreo is intricate and synchronized, and their performances have real depth. Not just anyone else could do what they do, which is why them losing was so unfortunate because the general public can't grasp what they do. ABDC is a popularity, not a dancing contest...
blue print did really good in this one but if you see over all poreotics nailed it. not saying this because i like poroetics. in fact im votng blue print all the way.

I think PRTX did ok with their illusion but their choreo was all over the place. I highly doubt running in place is choreo imo.

This was a wonderful performance. It was theatrical, and I enjoyed every bit of it. The levitating: UH-MAZING.
