TVR pearlised paint was one of the best paint finishes I've ever seen on a car.
2019 & my TVR is still going strong with just the usual maintenance. Love the V8.
Lucky. There’s only one for sale in my country, and it’s 200,000$ and 2000 miles away from me
which one you got?
@@ZZZ333 TVR chimaera. 4.0 V8. Starmist blue with cream hide. Amazing fun with an amazing soundtrack.👍🇬🇧
@@CCK-jd8nc Same, I don’t think we even have one here.
A warm and sunny day, it looked a bit nippy to me lol
The speed 12 is one of the cars I'd love to see. TVR's are and will always be my all time favourite cars!
Not joking but the gold TVR at the end of this video is my Dad's lol
swifty gibson Awesome
I'd like to see TVR come back soon. The purple one is absolutely gorgeous. Thanks.
U got the griffith now with mustang coyote 5 liter motor designed by the same guy that designed the mclaren f1 aka gordon murray. Who knows newer tvrs will be back too with its own motor esp a hi revving L6 resembling the good ol speed 6 motor.....
Your wish has been granted, TVR Griffith.
Sunny day? Looked a bit nippy to me...
makes me sick that TVR are no more. They were really going places
They were going no where and were not a car that people desired even though they were an amazing machine that looked beautiful.
+bighands69 now you can eat them words lol
Well these days they remade the griffith with the mustang motor....a nice thing to have but that alpne won't cut it.
no they weren't.........crap cars (I bought one brand new, the worst car I ever owned)
@@slikyiky1340 9 of course you did lol. Rolling you eyes as you rev the engine. No one buys a TVR unless they love em, its not a Golf!
TVR are amazing car's
Amazing car company
What happened!? Still my fav cars, ever!!!
God they are standing close together... Here in 2021.
Yes like normal human beings, not covidiots
tvr should have never been shut down ,,, the best British sports car by a mile worked on a couple years ago and a pleasure to road test and drive why has it been forgotten the engineering behind these cars was seconded to none I have a quarter of a million-pound to does any one want to have. A go keep it small and reliable with powerful engines should take of like a Tomcat jet fighter bam on
Bruh... iron crankshaft in the speed six. Engineering good, execution and cost cutting horrible
Im a BMW and Honda guy but im a TVR guy as well!!!! #TVRpleasecomeback😭😭😭😭
Ey oop chook...nice cars.
Are there cars in this video? Ah yes..
I don’t care what anybody says. My dream car is a TVR.
(I’m an American, and unfortunately they’re extremely rare in my area.)
So true. There’s a Tuscan for sale in Las Vegas for 200k if you can fork up the money.
The Cerbera turns 25 next year. Then, you can import one as a classic and it won’t have to follow safety regulations.
‘ CCK5018 ‘ Isn’t worth it. The Tuscan S sold for £50,000 when new.
You can get 80's to 90's TVRs for less than 20 grand and from what i've read they are fairly relaible. Just import them over from the UK since they're over 25 years old anyways. Just look out for electrical gremlins on ohter models.
Yes, I bet those guys were rubbing off on that bodywork before them.
"Ferret down a drain pipe"
Lol.
Miss these but at least the mustang engined griffith is a good start.
Craftsmanship, just like Morgan ,just hate it when such incredible car manufacturers like these are dead! All because of gm,Volkswagen etc!
Brilliant cars, great designs, but that factory tells you a lot about why they failed (although there were a number of factors).
I meant rusting.
TREVOR
Awesome cars, smoking hot babe ♥
Look at all them chassis outside wot a headache that has caused many tvr owners due to rising outriggers including me.
No wonder they rust, how much is a chassis replacement?
Most other designed chassis less are not possible to repair with rust in unibody style cars. It's actually a good thing these can take body off and it's possible to repair the chassis. Thankful!
original speed 12 engine
If only these chassis had been properly protected. Galvanising would have been great!
Geezus darling, that shirt fitted 5 years back, it don't now.
Not sure to be embarrassed for her shirt being 2 sizes too small, or thankful!
That was the style lol
They are coming back in 2015 with 2 cars, priced £50,000 to £80,000
I will believe that when I see it.
New TVR Griffith arriving shortly, designed by Gordon Murray of McLaren F1 fame and engines supplied by Ford via Cosworth. Cars to be built at a new factory in Wales. Pre-production Griffith already doing the rounds of the interenational car shows. It's erm......... Different to say the least.
2019, one car and 90k. But what a bloody car, 500bhp cosworth tuned Mustang engine and 1200kg kerb weight.
@Arthur Wall the EU rules about procurement have massively slowed building the factory
And yet here we are in 2023....
Bet she had arc eye after that 👀
Nikolai Smolenski what he done whit the factory>?
90% of the buildings that were the factory have been torn down
JPWRX_9786 is all still there. used by other companies to trade from. drive past it most days

should be titled "How TVR's were made, before the russian lad shut the factory down"
TVR simple do not have the market demand that was the reason they shut down. People simply did not desire the car the way they do Porsche, BMW, Jaguar, Aston Martin or Mercedes.
These cars should be on radar and marketing was TVR's weakness.
I don't think it's true. If you buy a company with potential you have to do something! Like Mimran bros bought the Lamborghini factory in 1980. Lambo was weak at marketing too, hardly more comfortable than TVR to drive. I think the main problem of TVR was design, it didn't attract the right people.
bighands69 arseholes with no imagination and tiny cocks desire Porsches, they are soulless german washing manchines on wheels
Dave from Lancashire true. People prefer sensible n hi tech cars these days rather than those with characters these days, and german cars epitomized that (esp audis which design n characterwise n my eyes are as bland as eating bread without mayonnaise or cheese)
They also weren't able to keep up with US/ California enviro and safety regulations - without that market most small volume luxury/supercar/exotic car manufacturers fail.
I didn't know that Mario used to work at TVR. That mustache must help to filter out all the fibreglass dust.
Ad love a topless one😂👍
Peter Wheeler both truly created TVR and then totally destroyed it with his shady dealings and moronic penny pinching ideas with the Speed Eight and Speed Six engines. Al Melling had designed a great pair of engines but Wheelers corner cutting turned them both unrelillable and rebuild prone. Brand new cars left the factory without even having their engines properly tuned/set up and producing way, WAY less power than they should. Then towards the end Wheeler put out so many variants on basically the same cars? It's such a shame that TVR died the way it did and we live in a darker, quieter, more boring world because of it.
No safety barriers to protect against arc eye! PUWER and PPE etc etc! amazed tvr allowed that! They are nasty! To think I liked them once 😔
Its the North, not an office in London. Youve never worked with real men in a real job I take it!
They are making and selling a car with no traction control, abs and air bags. I think fun comes well above elf and safety on the list.
