My favorite is watching him call other content creators "lazy" for not breaking up their content into parts. All Phil does is click "start" or "stop" when he's ready to record. There's no editing there.

Arguably before that. His job at the helicopter company was most likely a 'nothing job' were he didnt really do anything productive at all and he only had it because his dad was a higher up there. As soon as his dad left, he got fired.
All I've heard about those days, including Phils own words, point to that being the case.
Even before CZcams, it seems he was in between jobs most of the time.
Remember he's not friends with anybody in chat.. But he wants to have a chill hangout stream with y'all. So long as you're supporting.. I mean engaging.

Someone asked in the prestream, why did he set the time 45 minutes before the thing was going to start. He literally said it gives time for people to get ready you know relax and be mentally available for that chillstream when it's so obvious that he's doing everything he can to possibly hopefully get more money
