Just a thought but you could make topping pieces that will partially cap the easy planters to make caves/hiding spots for the fish when two or more easy planters are side by each
I loved these planters for the first three months and then I noticed my plants starting to diminish. What could be the reason for this? 🥺 I feed my plants plenty of nutrition. I wonder if it’s because the plants could be getting restricted while sitting in the planters. 🤷🏻♂️
I am confused because I thought you were supposed to take the plants out of the wool container after you got them. That the plants didn't do as well if you kept them in the little container?
He’s just showing you in the wool I think, like for me I would take the plant out full the little planter with aqua soil cap it with sand (or don’t cap it) and then put the plant in and a root tab (some don’t use root tabs with aqua soil but I do do), that would be the same thing and what I would do to help the plant better! Hope this helps!!
I was watching a co-op video you did in the fish room. You sayed something to the effect of "Oh I think I just showed something Randy doesn't want me to show". I watched it a couple of times and decided it was the planter. I have been waiting for them to be offered and just placed an order tonight. Thank you for supplying us with great products, need these for my African cichlid tank.
Cory, thank you. My brother is battling algae and is new to fish keeping. I suggested plants, but he didn’t want to deal with plants, so these are perfect for him. He watched this video and loves these so we’ll be ordering some planters, some plants, and some tabs to get them started. Your the man...
Been planning for a goldfish tank in the future, definitely going to have to get some of these so they dont uproot everything. My planted goldfish tank dreams are alive once again!
I have 2 60 gallon goldfish tanks and 1 55 gallon, both my 60s have 3 each and 2 in the 55. They have uprooted plants but it has been rarely. They don’t chew them, tear them up or anything. Now that might just be my 8 but that’s kinda weird if so lol. Just a thought incase you wanted to do it before having a bunch of these lol
Omg I learned so much just from this short video!!! I'm not familiar with aquatic plants and have no idea how to keep them (especially with goldfish). I had no idea how to use or when to use root tabs. Thank you so much for this!
Getting a few right now! And some plants my Cichlids won't turn into a salad bar. AND of course a few more awesome sponge filters! Oh and some never clog air stones for the sponge filters. SHOPPING SPREE! (Don't tell my husband 🤫) I Love my LFS over 1000 miles away in Washington! ❤ Thank you Cory and the Coop gang!
I have a stupid question from someone just getting into plants. I have always removed the plastic and rock wool before I put the roots in my substrate. Is that not the best method for planting?
fantastic idea, for people who likes using sand as substrate, i think you can just bury these in the sand and still grow plants that doesn't like to be in sand.
I'd like to see a smaller size available so a couple would fit in a 10 gallon and not take up so much room. Have you changed your opinion on keeping the rockwool long tern around the plants now? I have a sword plant I just put in about a year ago w/ rock wool and it's grown so big I'm getting a bigger tank now. :)
Didn’t know you could leave the plants in the brown mush stuff and the plastic container! I always thought it would be harmful for the water quality or pieces of the brown mush to get in the water and the fish accidentally eating it! This saves me a lot of time trying to get everything completely off the roots! 🙂👍🏻 thanks!
I have a nerite snail that uproots my plants, moves rocks and smaller size driftwood. I call him Dozer, cuz he bulldozes his way through the tank. This will fix him!! 😎
Love this idea and thinking about ordering a few. But how do these keep the plants from floating up out of them? I don’t see anything that “holds” them in place
Nice. This could be interesting to create some mounds in your substrate while saving yourself some substrate. You can set these down on a bare bottom and pour substrate around/over them. (obviously that would be for the non-epiphytes)
Please can you look into posting to the UK. We don't have anything like these here and would be happy to buy 4 of these and pay postage and import duties.
Just put in my order for 3 of these bad boys and a order of java fern, amazon sword and dwarf hair grass. Also got me xtreme nano fish food as well. Can’t wait for the shipment to arrive.
I used to hate things like that because of the colour but i saw you shape a tank with something similar & that made me realise it can look good too haha
Sand is a difficult substrate for most plants. Additionally, African cichlids can also be rough on plants. It sounds live valisneria might be something that may get to work if you use some root fertilizers like our Easy Root Tabs. ~ Zenzo
Hi - I have a question about the Easy Planter. Do you have a recommended link to find the size size netted pot? It does say "Plant hole: 2 in diameter x 3 in deep" but its hard to find that exact size on Amazon. This video describes exactly the issue I'm seeing - pleco uprooting plants
Awesome! I was at your web side and u are sold out of vale once u get some I will get 3 of this rocks and more stuff because I like my free shipping. Thanks coop!
Thank you for such a great product, I’ve been waiting for something like this for a long time now. I will be needing about a dozen soon, along with some plants. 🙌🏼
That’s a super awesome pot. Have you ever considered making a usb heater? That way you just need to get the usb light and usb air pump and your tank is run completely on usb plugs
Even if you don’t need to stop them from floating around I still really recommend them. They are a very nice quality. Plus even plants 🌱 make the tanks look better but these make it look even better. They also look nice with drift wood.
Hey Corey so I have a 140 gal with a oscar, frontosa, and flagtail prochilodus. Wabted to try out your scarlet temple plant. With that work with just the light and your main fertilizer spray. Don't really wanna hook up c02 to it.

Happy to see these!
Just a thought but you could make topping pieces that will partially cap the easy planters to make caves/hiding spots for the fish when two or more easy planters are side by each
I wish they shipped to to the uk I feel like there is a bunch of us from uk that would like to buy your stuff
oooh these are great! do you have plans to make sizes? one of those would take up most of my nano tank, would love to see a smaller version
I loved these planters for the first three months and then I noticed my plants starting to diminish. What could be the reason for this? 🥺

I was thinking exactly the same. This product looks good but how effective in long run. No response yet from aquarium co-op on this.
That's pretty cool, allows you to scape plants higher while creating more hiding spots and exploration.
I might need a tank of fish that dig up plants just so I can try this out
Get some Geophagus
I’ve heard golf fish are great at doing that!
OMG WHY DID GOLD ATUO CORRECT TO GOLF
Sorry I cut out of the video before the end (made sure I had 2 on the way 🤣). But, I'm back🤣🐟

Sucks that you dont do international shipping as I need these in my 120

GENEOUS! I’ve got a tank with clown loaches and geopgagus that I can NEVER keep plants down in! I’m on my way to the website!
YES the loaches are too crazy and always uproot plants!
Thanks Cory! I'm so excited to finally get these! I just ordered 9 and I'm sure I will need more!
Wasn't even planning on getting one but you sold me man
Does the rock wool break down over time?

I've been seeing these in your tanks and been asking where you got them. Gotta put in an order now.
Awesome idea!!! As a planted goldfish tank owner, I can vouch that this is an awesome idea. I have to use so many rocks to hold my plants down.
"That no cichlid can break loose" 😆!!!
Cheers😀,
Chris
Perfect! I’ve seen these in your aquarium and was wondering (hoping) when they would be available 👍
This looks like exactly what I need for my showcase tank, which has an inert gravel substrate. Awesome!
I'm gonna have to get some of these for my turtle tanks.
Just wish Aquarium co op shipped to Australia
Use shopmate to buy from USA.
This is amazing, something to help me prevail in the fight to keep plants with goldfish lol!!!!!
So glad I got one of these before you stopped shipping to nz hehe
Love this idea and thinking about ordering a few. But how do these keep the plants from floating up out of them? I don’t see anything that “holds” them in place
Great Product I have Anubias in mine I was always wondering do I leave the rock wool in as long as the plant is in there
Purchased 2 of them last night with 2 plants!! So glad I found your shop! Very fair prices and fast shipping!
Love them. Wished we could get them here in Australia.
You best believe I’ve been checking the website every day for these! I can’t wait to try this out in my goldfish and flowerhorn tanks! 🌱
they are on the website now www.aquariumcoop.com/collections/decorations/products/easy-planter

Just ordered one with a Java fern….I’m excited to see how it works!
Thank you for developing these and making this video!!! I wish you made these in smaller sizes.
I've been wanting something like this for a couple years now! I'm so glad that the Coop has made this product!
Thank you for the reminder that I needed root tabs and more air stones. Will give these a try and some more plants while I'm shopping 😁
Cory, Thanks for adding so much to the hobby. You are the best.
Well it's about time someone designed and markets these, wish I had some Yrs ago when I had to many tanks. 🎃👍
Will there be colors down the road? 🕸️
This is actually sweet, I don’t know that I have a need for them but I’m glad they exist.
Please can you look into posting to the UK. We don't have anything like these here and would be happy to buy 4 of these and pay postage and import duties.
Hi Cory. you need to get these on the Canadian Amazon website!
I just got two. I love them for my Anubias.
One of the best things I have seen in aquarium. Too bad that I live in Singapore I can’t buy.
The simple genius of this is amazing.
Well I know what I'm spending my stimulus check on
Order three getting them today can’t wait to put in pond with goldfish
Just put in my order for 3 of these bad boys and a order of java fern, amazon sword and dwarf hair grass. Also got me xtreme nano fish food as well. Can’t wait for the shipment to arrive.
Awesome, I need this
Very handy!
Mannnnn you always do this to me show cool stuff right after an order hahaha
I used to hate things like that because of the colour but i saw you shape a tank with something similar & that made me realise it can look good too haha
I like it. Easy planting. Easy Green.... Easy makes it fun.
That’s so cool definitely gonna have to try A couple out keep up the good work you make some really cool videos
This will be great in my fry tanks!
Exactly what I need as a beginner! Thank you so much!
I have a African cichlid tank with sand what plants would work best in higher ph tank , love the concept
Sand is a difficult substrate for most plants. Additionally, African cichlids can also be rough on plants. It sounds live valisneria might be something that may get to work if you use some root fertilizers like our Easy Root Tabs. ~ Zenzo
So if it had holes be nice little house for shrimp. So I would assume be ok drill holes for shrimp caves?
I couldnt find anything like this. Then i see them in your vids. Then you announce youve been testing them before selling. Sweet.

That's awesome. I've been pondering how to keep plants with crayfish. (silly, I know. lol)
Been seeing these in your tanks for a while, glad to see they are out now!
So AWESOME!!!! Can’t wait to order!!!
Awesome! I was at your web side and u are sold out of vale once u get some I will get 3 of this rocks and more stuff because I like my free shipping. Thanks coop!
I think adding your own hard scape to it would really help blend it in and make an awesome scape.
Thank you for such a great product, I’ve been waiting for something like this for a long time now. I will be needing about a dozen soon, along with some plants. 🙌🏼
Genius! Bet these would be helpful with shell dwellers!
Oh yeah!... I've been waiting for this without knowing it LOL... awesome!... I hope you start shipping outside the US soon
thanks needed
I absolutely LOVE this! This will be perfect for my goldfish tank!
Very good ideas
When you going to ship to Canada?
Already have 2 on the way . Can't wait!
That’s a super awesome pot. Have you ever considered making a usb heater? That way you just need to get the usb light and usb air pump and your tank is run completely on usb plugs
Great video! I also like the switchup of the tune of the outro music.
I'm getting ready to set up a 29gal and a couple of these might work well!
Those are great!
@aquarium Co-op what material is this plant holder made out of? Is it smooth or rough?
Wow! Genius product! I can’t wait to try these out in my aquarium.
I’ve been waiting on these.
Hi Darlene 👍 have a great weekend!
These look awesome wish I saw this before I ordered 😁 oh well, next time🙋
Neat idea. I wish I could try one out but there's a lot of water separating Washington and me lol.
If only I could get these in the UK
This could be really useful for ponds!
Definitely getting a couple for a 30g I’m starting soon
I gotta get some of that java fern it looks amazing
Been waiting for these. Just ordered a few to play with.
I wish i lived in the states....
Sometimes
Could you use these for Brazilian Pennywort?
Floating dwarf aquarium lily... Yep, I have 1 of those haha and just in time for my other tanks upgrade!
Some of them can be partially buried in the substrate too I’m sure to create different levels. Pretty cool
Even if you don’t need to stop them from floating around I still really recommend them. They are a very nice quality. Plus even plants 🌱 make the tanks look better but these make it look even better. They also look nice with drift wood.
I’m going to need a few now! Love this idea.
Great idea. I definitely need these.
Excellent idea and great to see you get this product to market. Cheers, Kevin.
You need to come to Australia!!!!!!
I’m getting 10 of these planters for my 125 gallon aquarium. I don’t know how many they have in stock but they are going to be gone fast . 🥰🥰
Hey Corey so I have a 140 gal with a oscar, frontosa, and flagtail prochilodus. Wabted to try out your scarlet temple plant. With that work with just the light and your main fertilizer spray. Don't really wanna hook up c02 to it.
With good lighting it can work. However that fine leaf stem plant and those large fish, it'd be pretty difficult to grow probably.
@@AquariumCoop2 what plant would you recommend with this setup then that looks nice.
@@daddysdachamp596 I would try a hardy plant such as Java Fern.
