Bro, most helpful video/channel.. was getting blamed by my father for burning out the motor, it was the actuator, then this reset/test was easy. Maytag guy wanted 340 to fix a 15min problem 😂

My washer was getting stuck on spin or taking forever to complete a wash cycle. Was looking for a repair man but a friend reminded me to go on CZcams, duh. I usually do but I was thinking it might be something major & I’m not a repair man. But thank God this worked. Thank you so much for your help 🙏🏽

I have battled with my washer for a few months now. I was on the verge of calling a technician in to work on it. This saved me time and money because now my washer is as good as new! It's cycling like it did the day I brought it home!
Just got Maytag that was used and just recalibrated the system you just helped me recalibrated thank you I also have a whirlpool washer with the one left side button and two right and center button as you face the washer can you send a recalibration for this whirlpool machine.
This worked great for me. Thank you. Before I reset, my impeller wasn't moving properly. I opened it up and it would only turn clockwise, not counter clockwise. I manually spinned it several times and it seemed to clear up and so I did the reset and now it's working great. In the case that the problem is with your drive basket, Maytag has a 10 year parts warranty on that, you can call them direct, but will still have to pay for labor unfortunately.
If you machine flows water while set to hot water it is your water inlet screen clogged. Pull it out and clean it. Use needle nose pliers and it pulls out like a Cork. Screw all this diagnostic testing. Something so simple took me all day to troubleshoot. Hit like if it worked. I had mine stuck in sensing mode. Try this if just hot works.
Thanks for the actual reset. FYI to anybody that hasn't done this: unplugging it for x minutes then plugging back in doesn't do anything. THIS IS THE ACTUAL RESET.
Blessing. I got mountains of laundry accumulation. Trying cycle now and praying. All nobs to left then main is 12, 11,12,1,2,1,2 all lights then 6 and commencing power button. ohh my gosh I can wait to see what happens... haha the anticipation and excitement.... Pray for me people PLEASE hella stacks of clothes. Try puting on a wet swim suit in the winter.
I tried this today and it works, I put a comforter in the washer bad move and the sensor stayed on without recycling. The old saying you live you learn is true, but never again

This is what mine sounds like is going on but this reset isn’t making it work properly so I’m going to try what you did thanks
I changed out the control board, then the machine went into pump out mode. I then followed the steps and got the

You can also start at normal position and do a left turn at 360 degree and you go right 1 2 3 2 3 pattern and you enter in a menu
