I am addicted to the cinema of Kerala. My favorite directors from Kerala are G Aravindan, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Padmarajan, Shaji Karun, Lijo Jose Pellisserry and Aashiq Abu. I have seen more than 100 films from Kerala and my top 10 Kerala films are the following:

3) Anantaram (1987) this film is like Color of Pomegranates from USSR and like Tarkovsky's Mirror.

Kerala is well educated state in India
Even farmers can speak in English
Yes because of Literacy they know that Hindi is not national language of India unlike North india. So they focus Malayalam and English only.
Sadly, speaking English doesn’t deduce being literate. Literate means a person who developed rational thinking and critical reasoning in whichever language they want. Chinese speaks chinese, japan speaks japanese, germany speaks german so in that case they are illiterate because they dont prefer english but their economies are in the top 5. So please dont make english as a face of being a literate. It is a language so keep it just like that.

you have seen that how Kerala is similar to Sri Lanka. if you travel more in rural areas of ind you would know that India is mini continent. you will have experience of many countries within this one.
rural Indian Punjab is similar to rural Pakistan
Ladakh is to Tibet
Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand to Nepal
Sikkim- Bhutan
West Bengal: Bangladesh
Manipur- Myanmar
Lakshadweep is like Maldives.

Are you in Kuttanad? It's in Alleppy district, Kerala, India. Kuttanad is famous for it's paddy cultivation. It's below sea level almost 3 mts. So every year it's affected by flood. Beautiful place and people. 👍🇮🇳

You should've accepted the kayak offer.. it would've been another incredible experience! They take you into the smaller canals where you can see how people live and commute everyday on the banks. It's a more intimate version of what you get to see from the houseboat.

yah, so theres a tonn more things to check out in kerala, but it seems that your heading out. Theres also soo many other items to try for food in Kerala. You need to have Kerala Fish Curry and rice, Bf and Porotta, thattakada chicken fry, Appam and chicken curry (chicken roast).

At last I got to see a farmer _ the owner of that paddy field. I always wondered where are the owners of these huge fields. Also, got to see the mum and wife. So down to earth! The gentleman saying "pardon". Wow! I feel like I am living in la la land. This was truly a beautiful vlog.

Wish I’d of loved a Kerala & beauty when I was there was on a very steep hill that was so hard getting up & down plus the rivers were dirty& full of flip flops & rubbish it was filthy, Many love it but I prefer Goa but that was many yrs ago.
