Thanks for all the z30 content. I think i got it all on.
Thanks for the review. I gotta pick this lens up sometime for my z30.
thanks, this was really helpful, especially with the example footage and focus on both video and photography! Keep it up :)
Appreciate the kind words!
Pineapple Pizza for sure, thanks a lot for the video
When shooting video, the Z30 doesn't actually crop in. Especially at 4k, which is a major contending attribute to other cameras in this segment. Just fyi
When using the Electronic IS it does crop down about a 1.2 factor
Salami and extra cheese 😊
So good
is this compatible only with the Z line of cameras or all of the DX sensor size which would include my D7000?
This is only available for the Z mount
This would be great for my Z50, been waiting for a decent native z mount prime lense under $500 AUD
This is def worth it!
What do you think about this lens for the Z50. I have the 16-50 kit lens and would like to replace it with this one for general photography and portraits. Is this a good choice or would I be better off to get this as a second lens? Also is it even good for portraits?
Honestly, I think this is a must have especially considering the kit lens. The bokeh you get because of the 1.7 aperture is stunning. This alone makes it a great choice and that includes portraits.
@@MatsuXL thank you appreciate the suggestion! Will definitely pick one up :)
I really want a lens to take wonderful light and airy photos of my children up close while also photography of my pottery. Does it fit the bill?
Typically for those kinds of photos, you want a wide aperture lens so this being a 1.7 does help. At a 24 mm though it will get the job done, but typically for those kinds of portrait shots you’re looking at a 35 or 50mm.
Also, more of that style is done during the shoot itself. you want to make sure you’re shooting with enough light and exposure to the subjects versus the background.
Can you do a review of nikon 24mm g1.7 vs nikon 40mm f2 for APSC.
Would love to just need my hands on the 40mm 😂
😑 Promo SM
