Man… I was craving for a comparison between those two pedals… I’m glad I found your channel and that video! Awesome playing! Cheers from Brazil

That amp was madeeee for the tube screamer! sounds so good man. Only because you're playing it of course. I am an Aussie too man I have a channel with some demos. Would love to connect. I reckon we play in a similar way and have similar influences. I have the Kingtone Soloist and really enjoy the "edge" control for a bit of extra bite!

Yea bro sounds insane! Just checked out some of your videos man love your playing! I’d love to bro! Shoot me a message on Instagram! I used to use the edge on it but I started taking out some of the top end in my tone cause I wanted to try something different and now I can’t bring myself to change it back! I normally use the fat setting on the TS side and the stock on the BB!

@@tastee_licks_thomas Thanks mate. Yeah, cool well your tone/sound is great man. I'd love one of those JM ceriatones. Check out the dumble clone I got on my channel, it was made in Sydney using a 1975 silver face bassman for transformers. It's absolutely insane! I'll add you on Instagram. Sounding great man!

I recently bought a Duellist, then sold my Gladio. The Duelists is amazing, it just has all the richness, harmonics and openness one would expect. Never been a tube screamer fan, too much compression and mid hump.

Your suppose to run your duellist into your gladio, would have been more amazing, the duellist makes so many good pedals come alive!

Both are nice. The Duelist has more presence, dynamics imo

If you want to fiddle all day to try to find a good tone, get the Duellist. It excels at that. And yes, I have one - regrettably. Recently got a Cornerstone Single Channel Preamp - set it in any way, great tones all day. Better than my KOT and my jan ray and shanks od-1.

I swear it’s hard to tell bc people subconsciously play differently. People play to the strengths of the peddle to make themselves sound good it’s hard to resist. I think the only way is identical guitar parts. I
