I grew up in church with Abbey aka Yebba. She has sang gospel her whole life. Her father is the pastor and he’s amazing too. Unfortunately they lost her mother to suicide a few years ago. She’s amazing and I and her whole town are so proud of her following her dream!
Hunny, I don't normally listen to this type of music and I just discovered this beautiful child of God yesterday!! Thank you jesus!! This young woman blew the dam roof off the church and threw it across the Atlantic ocean!! The first time I watched it I was balling my eyes out for her and that dam man that broke her heart!! Then I learned about her mom and the mental illness awareness and I knew she has been touched by God himself. God bless this young lady and even though I super late on her I've been catching up, and she is just in a league of her own. How lucky you are to personally know her

Another artist I showed up way late for is...LP. Her most popular song is Lost On You ( Live at Harvard and Stone) and I watched your reaction to the cover -but I actually think the live version of When We’re High is a better first reaction. Anything Live! Because she sounds as good or better. Forever For Now is my personal favorite and really captures a bit of everything that makes LP and her songs uniquely hers.
You can hear the pain in every word...especially when she does those little gut wrenching oooooo sounds between the words.....How do you sing with so much passion without crying the whole time!!
