Hi Leisha! On the Canva website you can type in logo and they have premade logos that you can customize yourself!

Yes you can print shipping labels. I print my labels through pirate ship. It’s a bit cheaper!
Great video how did you get your different colors in the color palette? Far as changing your text color.
At the homepage of Canva on the left hand side it shows "Brand Kit." Click that and you can start choosing your colors. I believe this is with the paid version only which is $12.99 a month I think or about $112 a year. You can write this expense off on your taxes as well so that's a plus.
You can use this link to find color palette generators, ideas, colors wheels and color meanings. It's pretty cool.

Hey sis, thank you so much for the very informative video. I just have one questiion, i made my labels with canva but when i got them printed they came out very blurry, you can barely read the text and the color is grainy. Would you say this is an issue with canva or the peole printing the labels? When you print yours, do the colors pay off well and is the text crisp and clear?
Anytime I got them printed from somewhere it came out grainy so that was also another reason I started printing my own! Cause I noticed with me that doesn’t happen at all. So I’m thinking it’s their printer. I would suggest font size to nothing below 4-4.5! Some fonts don’t show up well small either.

What machine do you use to print your labels off of?
I don’t use a machine. I use my hp envy photo 7155 printer and sticker paper.
Hi I am just watching this and I’ve managed to create a label. Can I ask what the size of the label you printer on please?
I use sticker paper 8.5x11in. I have it linked in the description! And then I just manually cut out my labels. Let me know if I answered your question correctly!
Idk why but when I create my design on canva the size isn't correlating on avery....
Yeah that’s why I don’t mess with Avery it’s always off 😅 I just like to upload it from google docs and then adjust it on there with the side rulers.

Nope! HP ENVY 7155 Inkjet printer.
Where do you get them printed?
I print them myself at home using a HP 7155 printer and the paper I use is in the description box! I also have a video showing you the steps of mine! I’ll be doing an updated one shortly

How do Iake the background clear ? I don't want any color. Not even white. I want the product to show through
So it will show up white no matter what so you can see what you’re designing, but You need to purchase clear sticker paper.
Meaning on Canva it will show up white for the background. But when you print it on clear paper it won’t be white. Save as transparent as well.
How can I make the label be long like yours on Canva? So I can add ingredients , etc . Thank you!

@@lifewithlanai. what’s not turning sideways? Or can you describe what you’re seeing? If you mean it’s the long way like the label You have to switch the length and width and make sure it’s in inch not pixels.
Is it for 4 oz or 8 oz
4oz from bulk apothecary! But make sure to always measure because not all 4oz jars are the same dimensions!
How do you print out and get labels another website?
Hi! I use save my image from Canva and upload it to google docs only. You can also try using Avery.com or onlinelabels.com and upload your design and print directly from their site, but I had issues with aligning and it got annoying to me lol, so I started doing it this way!

Do you print those yourself or does can a have to print and send them to you? If you print yourself do you have a laser printed?
I print myself!. I have a video on how & what I do to print myself! I use an HP ENVY7155 and just switch my printer settings to get the bright colors. And I use sticker paper instead of labels.

@@pamelar.edwards2617 Hi Pamela! So I design using Canva and then copy and paste to Google Docs. I then hit file, print, more settings & hit color - fine. & paper type is (whichever paper type you use) I click specialty paper, matte. And quality is best. I have a video on it called DIY how to make product labels at home! The sticker paper I used (linked in description) gave me all of these directions.

How did u print these out
I print home! I saved a download the label and in Canva I create a pdf and fit the file to the size the label is and print. I have another video on it how to print with labels with Canva you can check out ☺️

You have to download the image. The 3 dots that show to the right click that!

@@goddessjsj so what I do is just use sticker paper because I hated using Avery /online labels because I didn’t like the outcome and it never lined up for me, so with that I won’t be 100% sure. But do you know the dimensions of your jar? When creating your label in Canva you can click create design at the bottom it says custom design and put in your dimensions (I have a video as well how I measured my jars). And then after you are finished save & download the design. And upload that design and you may need to expand the image or decrease the size the image to fit on Avery or online labels (whichever you’re using). The size of your label you create on Canva try to find the same exact measurements on the website you’re using

@@ayvadiorcosmetics simplicity because a lot of us struggle with tech and we not tech savvy and the visual was harder to fallow because a lot of us watch on the phone and practice on computer if you can make a clean video from 1 to 10 steps that would be great because your voice help a lot just needs to match with video and tank you for reply
