Thanks for watching! Leave a comment!#Bluray #BlurayCollection - Zábava
It's a beautiful collection! I love how the Rohmer and Bergman sets go together haha. I've always toyed with doing a favourite filmmakers section but I don't know if I can break up the collections on the shelf!
It's a hard (collector) life!
Awesome my friend.
That’s a lot of blu-rays! And a lot that need to be watched. I used to think I had a lot of DVDs and Blu-rays . . . Great vid.
There’s a special place in hell for people who separate Criterion blu-rays.
Oh yeaah, that's the stuff... definitely do a follow-up video when they are re-arranged.
Hahaha
Great video. Thanks for sharing your collection.
Meanwhile, 9 1/2 years since i last moved, my book collection is organised randomly within a bunch of plastic crates piled up in my garage. Although the unread books are in my house separated into will eventually read, probably won't get round to reading, and why the f#%k did I buy Finnegans Wake? piles.
Some really nice stuff including quite a few I envy. Great video and collection. I will say though although I get the idea of sorting by genre, unwatched, company releases, directors, countries and even perhaps the dates that combination would confuse the shit out of me! But not as much as sorting by colour - that way lies madness man.
Hey dude, what an amazing collection you have here. I like how you have that section for all the un-watched movies, i have made a decent effort over the last few years to knock out a lot of movies i haven't seen. I don't know just feels like some form of accomplishment. I"m at the point now though where i need another big shelf, this movie buying addiction cant be beat i tell ya. Anyway hope your keeping well, all the best for now.
Definitely with you on the sense of accomplishment haha. I'm trying harder haha. You too man, hope all is good.
Very impressive! Congrats on your collection! I love to see how collectors organize their collections and stuff that like! Just a question: I see your "watched films" shelves are full, so what do you do when you watch a film from the "unwatched film"? Does it go to that pile on the floor that contains watched and unwatched films? About those boxsets that keep opening up, maybe you could try using those invisible tapes for gift-wrapping (or whatever they're called), they might work and not leave glue remains on them. I haven't tried that though, so I can't be sure.
Incredible. An inspiration.
Daisuke sent me here! Great collection!
Nice! Great guy :)
My Casablanca and Gone with the Wind boxes keep opening up aswell!
Zero world problems haha
Nice video and collection! I think the way you showed the collection is good. At least you showed how it is displayed. Many people just hold them up one by one and then you don't get to see the way they are set up.
I'm in process of readjusting my collection of around 6,500(Blu-ray only) now, though it seems I always am, this is just a bigger adjustment. Crazy how much room they take up when stacked on the floor.
I have a shelf for unwatched but it is just mainstream stuff. I put all of the boutique titles by company and just mix them in. I'm considering changing that because I forget about so much that I want to watch.
Do you have a planned date for the uploading of your latest 24hr movie marathon? Looking forward to it!
Holy moly that's a big collection. Yeah it can become overwhelming when sorting! I don't yet sorry, hopefully I'll have more info soon! Maybe in May?
I'm sure in my Billy bookcases I got an extra shelve in each bookcase 🤔 I bought it as an extra, I'm kitting my room out once carpet right has laid the carpet, I'm going for 6 bookcases, I have a similar amount of titles to you but want to thin it down, yours looks quality and it makes me so eager to display all my titles, not long to wait hopefully 🤞
At least you have plenty of time on your hands to see them all 🥳
In theory eh! I've found it hard to get motivated to watch stuff honestly.
Cool collection.
OMG yes!! You must organise the collection by COLOUR, it is your destiny Luke. ❤️💛💚💙💜
It's my.. density.
Cool video.. if those are the Billy bookcase units from IKEA, they also sell the shelves separate. Therefore you could make space by shifting each shelf upwards and putting a new shelf in. I did it with mine and now have 7 shelves (not including the bottom and top).
Not Billys unfortunately. Argos don't sell extra shelves and apparently advise against it. I'd love to maximise the space.
I use a DIY shelf similar to this: czcams.com/video/H7ACX0wBzis/video.html
Cost me about 20 € to build, fits about 900 DVDs and goes from floor to ceiling, neatly tucked away in a corner of the room.
Going to try and stick an old steelbook to the wall with them command hanging strips and if it looks any good might put all the marvel steelbooks on the wall seen a collector do it with magnets looked good great collection!!!!!!!!!
Magnets, bitch!
Hi, you went past the section really quickly and I thought I saw the Criterion for Stalker, if so is it good (not the film but the release, it’s in my top 10 of all time so I’m just wondering if criterion did a good job). Also I’ve been interested in picking up the Artificial Eye Boxset with all of Chaplin’s feature films, if you have that I’d love your thoughts on the release. I’ve seen a few of them which I’ve loved.
Hey there I bought the Criterion edition of the Stalker with without even really knowing anyting what it's about other than the description from Criterion and I have to say it was mind-blowing just go ahead and get that one that's worth it
P K I did eventually pick up the criterion, it was one of my 10 favorite films so I had to watch it the best way possible.
That Lost Keaton set is a rare one ,I recently found the Dvd edition.
And Phantom Thread is excellent.
I managed to get it in a sale a few years ago! Yes, great film.
Impressive....most impressive . I'm not really a collector but I'm curious if you hate a film but it's part of a series do you keep it in your collection or sell it ? Like I know you hated Salo (quite rightly) do you keep it or ebay here we come ?
I never bought Salo, but if I had, yes, I would have sold it. Takes a lot for me to hate a film really.
Hi - what shelves do you use?
I've also thought a colour spectrum would be awesome, but it's so impractical.
I thiiiink they're Maine book shelves, from Argos. Definitely book shelves from Argos though. Yeah the impracticality of it would probably annoy me.. I do like aesthetics though...
You should finish the tarantino steelbook collection you have
I'm in no rush haha, but it will be done!
Brilliant collection. I love the David Gilmour bluray. Don't sell anything!
The daylight robbery editions of the Gilmour blu-rays are pretty great :)
Pop the posters into frames mate, wont look teenager like then
God I so BADLY want all the Wes Anderson criterions! sadly I couldnt watch all of them since I dont have a region Free bluray player. Just bought my first criterion tho, Life Aquatic, so someday it will happen.
Getting the Rushmore Criterion was the main reason I bought a region free player! It all comes full circle..
Well I mean they’re all available on region B now except their latest Wes release, Grand Budapest, which will undoubtedly get a region B release at some point
No way there will be blood just sat on the shelf lol
Hahaha!
Get rid off this Twillight box set. xD
If I ever sell my collection, it will be the last box standing
sell the Marvel steelbooks, you will always have streaming access to mainstream trash like this, no reason to keep them
Second that.. the spines on most them suck. Most of the films have no rewatch value. Sell them off and get the box sets of phases 1-3 (or is it 4?) if you really want to own them.
@@stevemiddy last year I rewatched all of them and had a great time! It's a collection I've enjoyed growing and there are a few that were gifted to me. They stay :)
I'll take physical media over streaming any day. And I certainly wouldn't sell something based on your opinion of the films either haha
@@RazorwireReviews fair enough dude.. everything subjective. I own the 2-3 ones that I like. Might get the 4 main Avengers film's eventually in a box set. Just cant find the time to watch them and my collection only half as big as yours. Wait until you have kids lol things will change!
