Hi Vanessa,
Wonderful tips. My husband got a horrible ear infection after swimming in a cenote. He even lost a bit of hearing. The cenotes look absolutely breathtaking, but you have to exercise caution. Ive never seen another travel video mention the dangers of the bat droppings. You are the best at giving all angles.
That's terrible Debbie-Ann! Im so, so sorry, truly. Always appreciate your comments and support 🙏
Love the video and love Riviera Maya. Going in June bring on the heat!! Really enjoy the mid day thunderstorm siesta.
So soon! I’m excited for you 😊 Have a great time!
I'm glad you mentioned the Sargassum issue. It's truly heartbreaking how bad it's gotten over the last several years 💔. This is something that greatly impacts where we go and when. We unfortunately had a horrible experience that ruined our trip back in 2019 (I know how "spoiled" that sounds 😣) We go for the beach, not the pools, so it was a huge letdown and hard lesson learned! 😢
I hear you! I think 2019 was the worst I’ve seen it 😕
My friends and I went to the area back in 2020 and again in 2021. We did a tour that included the Tulum ruins, snorkeling near Tulum Beach, and a cave cenote. The cenote was absolutely amazing! The dirt road leading to it was back in the woods and very bumpy and the water was a little chilly right as you jumped in but after being hot and out in the sun at the Ruins, you got used to it after only a few seconds. A sea turtle swam right past me while snorkeling 😊 I would love to do the same exact tour all over again! They were both very memorable trips!
This is awesome! 🙌 Thank you so much for sharing! 😊
Thanks Vanessa. I appreciate yoyr experience and perspective.
Thanks Matt! 🙏 You are so welcome! ☺️
Your video is excellent! My wife and I have visited this area many times and there are so many adventures to experience. This video is full of good information for anyone considering a trip to Riviera Maya. I love the drone footage also!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🙏
This video ❤❤ My husband and I were planning on going to our first AI to Riviera Maya. This video pointed out so many great things we didn’t know. We are now planning on Cancun instead! Thank you for the helpful info!
Glad it was helpful! ❤️☺️
Hiii Vanessa!! We have not been down as far as Tulum. The farthest we’ve been down in Cancun is The Beloved. I did not know about the Cenotes. We will have to check them out someday soon. Thanks for a very complete video about Cancun and the area.❤️✈️
Thank you as always Diane! 🙏 😊

Love 5th Ave ❤! I stayed twice at an AI called The Royal that was adjacent to 5th Ave. It was taken over by another brand. I am glad I already did the cave cenote tour before watching this video 😅
