I've recently started playing some of the games that I owned during my childhood and am having a blast.

Emulating games on iOS has been a bit tedious in the past because you needed to jailbreak your iPhone in order to run the emulators.

But now that I discovered Afterplay.io, those days are over!

Since it is a web-based emulation tool, you can play your games on any device, and pick up where you left off on your other devices.

And it actually runs the games pretty well. I am very impressed.

@@SleepyDoggtechnically they’re not charging for the games. You still have to provided those yourself. They only charge for use of the emulator. Which might also not be theirs, but the fact that they provide it through the browser is uniquely theirs I think
android is the solution for emu.
I’m an iPhone owner and you’re right. But thankfully Apple has opened up Emulators on the AppStore.
If you want a free emulator get delta on iPhone you will have to find emulated files for it but it is rlly easy to do

Just get eclipse, it can play nes, snes, gameboy and gameboy advance

You don't an iphone to emulate SNES, N64, or PS1. Just get a cheap android phone or tablet so you don't need to jump through hoops to get apps.

So I added to Home Screen and signed up but when I searched for a game there’s only 2 games that keep showing up
There shouldn’t be any games that show up unless you add the Roms yourself

Search up how to play Roms and where to get them from and file types - I unfortunately won’t be sharing that information as that’s the bit that can get creators in hot water

@@_edit146_ ah I understand, there are touch controls :) They’re not as good as a physical controller but for a lot games they are good enough :)
You can play a ton of emulated gameboy, DS, and n64 games without even needing a controller, and it’s not awkward at all. Games with trigger buttons can be awkward but that’s it

Umm, not entirely sure. Try clearing your cookies maybe? Or head the the Afterplay io forums and I’m sure someone will help you!

I prefer this stick placement to be honest but everyone has their preferences 🤷♂️
