Inova Schar Cancer (department of Fairfax Hospital) is a state-of-the-art cancer center in the Washington, DC metro area designed to bring healing and hope to every patient.
In partnership with the Smith Center for Healing and the Arts, Inova Schar Cancer uses are in many forms to support our patients and families who are facing a cancer diagnosis or treatment.
The innovative program includes a permanent art collection and ongoing exhibitions, performances and therapeutic events, all from local artists.
