I usually build my own pcs , but decided to go pre built this time and got a omem 30l from best buy of all places when I got an unexpected influx of a couple grand lol but I love the pc so far, have had it for like 9 days. Its a 5800x and a 3060ti with 16gb ddr4 3200,,all name brand except the gpu was a weird oem one,but it had a light up top that said" Nvidia rtx" and sane cooler design as the FE. but the RAM,SSD amd the PSU (mine came with a platinum 750w not a bronze like said in the video) all name brand.
Nice to just be able to plug and play kind of, and Temps are high but I mean it's not throttling or anything. So far I'm happy, spent 1600 on the pc,,,2000 with the pc, keyboard and 165hz curved monitor.i did the math and if I built it myself i would have saved like 159 bucks, and j would have cheaped out in spots like the psu and gotten a gold psu instead of a platinum psu like the omen I have came with. It's way prettier than anything I would have built and yeah the psu is much better than what I would have used. Mine is more powerful than this one in the video. He's using a r5 3600 and a 1660 super.
there are ways to deal with the temps.... 1) change the cpu cooler... 2) change the exhaust fan. 3) you can tinker with the GPU and add some protective measures too it this includes looking into a copper cooling plate.... 4) obviously remove the panel when the comp gets hot...
Great video as always and nice editing. Might be beneficial to add a frame rate counter to the recorded gameplay to better demonstrate how it performs. Apex looked smooth either way.

great video dude! I just bought one of these PC. I know it's a bit old, but it is definitely an upgrade from my Xbox, just wondering if you have any more tips for this computer.

Here one can get the Omen 30L with a 3070 Ti for under £1000 right now - that's such a good deal I'm almost skeptical of it tbh! I mean you get the entire functioning PC with a ryzen 5700G for 1.5x the price of just the GPU..? That seems almost too good to be true. That said, it's still a lot of cash to blow for me as a student. Upgrading from my GTX 960 / FX 6350 build, now that I've got a WQHD monitor, to something like this is an enticing prospect though, ngl.

I got 1 2 weeks a go and mine came with a 3090 and 32gb vengeance ram and water cooling I loved the price from Amazon tho 2200 pounds

What’s the ball park fps should I get if I bought this pc for gaming like fortnight and call of duty ? Will I get elite performance for the money ? Great video btw
it’ll run fortnite like nothing, warzone you’ll be looking around 100 - 120 fps and depending on what cpu and graphics it could be higher. i have the new hp omen with the 3080 and ryzen 7 5800x with 16g of memory (recently upgraded to 32g) and it runs like a hot knife through butter.
Only question I want to have answered no review seems to answer is how is the upgradability ? Like, it has one nvme ssd, can I install another ? How many more normal 3,5 inch ssd's ? Does it have a dustfilter or can I Install one? These are important details.

Already have the HP pavilion but just curios how much better is this computer compared to the pavilion. Also if I follow the full upgrade series for the Pavillion will it be better than this pc

can we add additional fans to this? if so, where can we add it? I heard the top ventilator is blocked with some kind of iron piece for some reason.
IF you have a grinder you can cut above the front fan lol...I saw online some one butcher a pc to add a second fan.
You can add fans, but you will have to get crafty with it

Hey so recently I had a hp omen gaming laptop for about 5 years and on august it finally kicked the bucket(it was a bad choice for me to get cause I was only 15 when I got it and I was rlly stupid) do you think this pc is still the perfect prebuilt and if so should I try hp once more? Cause I’ve seen a lot of reviews for this pc being good or bad, and I’m tryin to ask people around who has had this pc. Sorry for the long paragraph and my grammar if it’s bad, point being should I try hp again?
hey, i just got the OMEN by HP GT13-1050NA for £1000 and its really good, got a 3070ti and easily upgradable, alittle loud sometimes but you can upgrade the fan! :)
@@adsabea okay great thanks mate, seems I made the right choice to go with a omen 40L with i5 12400f and 3060 and it comes tomorrow. Glad I can easily upgrade the fans whenever.

I need Help. My HP Omen 30L - GT13 - 1174 recently stopped turning on and I highly suspect is the PSU that needs replacement.
I checked the model of the PSU and its a cooler master and it has the following information:
Hp Post,
No. L8409 - 001
Now when I check on the specific model no specific search appears on Google so I can't get my hands on that specific model.
That said since I am not familiar with the gaming PC repair and replacement process
I just want to know
What other model can be compatible with this specific machine?
Atleast one that is 550w or higher but that can be compatible with that specific model of HP Omen 30L.

Anybody have sleep problems with this desktop, where if you put it to sleep, it won't wake back up unless you unplug the desktop completely?

How are the temps
I haven't had any issue with temps. The fans that come with it though are somewhat loud

Indeed. I have one, I barely played but I get massive super strange problems and I wouldn't recommend it.
Terrible customer service at HP , my PC has not worked for a month, only 6ths old, its been sent back twice and returned in a worse state ( GPU fan broken off ). Support are not interested and i cant get anyone at HP to help...never buying from them again :(

Go into your omen studio and change the settings for the rbg to wake up or not fall asleep
