Often times big homes are overly white because they want you to paint the rooms a different color. They’re giving you a blank slate to work with. In most cases it’s not intended for you to keep everything white. It’s just easier to envision a space with another color if it’s white as opposed to something darker

I also don't see how it is taking OP so long to find an architectural company to help design this. This home is very straight forward and fairly simple, just expensive to build.
Your average computer user can get the software to design a house as an idea, even, to help the architects plan it out..For free. Or you can do it on paper as well.

difference is that in texas this would cost you 300k where as i bet this house cost 4mil
@@jmb9701 This house costs more than 300k to even build. Texas isn't as cheap as everyone says. Here in plano a new house 2500 sqft 4b 4b will run around 400k, no pool no furnish, decent area. But if it was built in Frisco, Southlake, west lake, flowermound, coppell, dallas, highland park, university park, etc. The price could be between 1.5 - 7 million.
Nice and elegant. I love the warm timber look , the natural lightning and of course the fact that it is facing towards river/lake is a plus.
Magnificent, it’s be a perfect place for staying during the Covid19 situation.
usually i find most houses of this caliber to have an uninspiring decor or lack of taste but this by far takes the cake. love the attn to detail on this place. this is a dream house for sure.

I'll probably never afford something as large as this, but I'll be damned if I'm not stealing some design cues for my house.
I looked it up. It's listed at 15 Million! I also know someone who lived in a house on this street before it was torn down and rebuilt something like this.
The person who filmed this needs their own channel of homes on the market/etc/etc/etc. Good production! May need ppl in it, but that aren't annoying. But music and filming is brilliant! It shows all facets and flows along. Fantastic! Edit: Needs names on screen of which room is what!

Completely agreed with anyone saying this house is perfect! As for me, bad knees would render the foot print into a bungalow but by not changing the overall concept of the main living area. Just take all the other rooms and mesh them into the main living and I've got my forever home. I do also appreciate something like this with a pool but to add to the already beautiful, a lake view would only the cherry on the cake for me. I can escape anywhere in and out of the house. PERFECT :)

Very NICE. Well thought out through out. Has to be award winning. Everything thought of (e.g. custom home theatre room, walk-in wine cellar and gym. Usually one of those 3 is missing. Focusing on decor and architecture only. This home had it all. Would have bee nice if we knew the specs and the asking price. Even if just to satisfy our curiosity. One of the best looking/outfitted homes I've seen located in Oakville or any part of Toronto/GTA. Near flawless. I would have liked to have seen this home/landscaping in the GTA...wonder who the architects were. :)

My house seemed pretty similar with the spacing and design....except my house is a bit more luxurious. Anyways.....great design and wonderful ambience with the trees sorrounding.
