We’re Doug and Jamie - an aussie / american couple who love adventures, good food and exploring new places. For the past few years we have be using what we’ve had to explore more of Australia - which wasn’t much. But in 2020 we upgraded Doug’s work van and it now doubles as our home on wheels part time. 2022 was the year we decided it needed a makeover so we jumped into a big van build series over the winter, ready to hit spring in our new setup! Our hope for this channel is to grow a community of likeminded people and to inspire others to jump in the drivers seat of their own life (pun intended) and create their own magic. And after surviving life in one of the most lockdown cities in the world the last few years, we are back in action ready to share our adventures!

Yeah Doug's brother is apparently a great swimmer, he's volunteers and said he's going to show us how to do a swan dive off a waterfall, keep your eyes out for it. 🙌
Sometimes it is all about the adventure and not the destination.

You want to chase waterfalls go to Toorongo falls noojee and there is a campground near there also
oh wow! we did a day trip to noojee last year but had no idea about this campground! and have yet to go to the falls, just looked it up! this looks awesome, adding it to our list!! thanks trish!

I know about log trucks, and those drivers work to a tight schedule, they slow down for no-one! Never trust Google maps! Heard some horror stories from people ending up in potentially harmful tracks. Saw a 4wd Toyota van recently, brand new, boy was I envious🤔
hahahaha this is what happens when you don't pack the proper tools for the road! no kidding! man, we pulled over for a minute to get some footage and lucky we did because a log truck came flying around the corner! wild! and we feel you on that, that's us everytime we see a 4wd van!! really opens up your options esp in the colder / wet seasons!
Cannot emphasise how much I'm enjoying these videos. Love that you had such a good run with free campsites because in the last 6 months or so I have not. Also this editing is just phenomenal so well played on being tremendous powerhouses of youtube xx
Also I can confirm taking a 2wd down a 4wd track - I took the golf and punctured my sump. Camping was good though :D
