The only thing I can think of when hearing this is the clip from Edwards Exploit.

And, this, was Edwards steady beat.
This is such a heavenly sound. Sounds like an actual orchestra is playing this.

I always thought of him as the valiant knight of Sodor. If worst came to worst he could still put everything right despite his age.
I really should admit, that is one of the best orchestral composing on Edward's them. It would certainly fit very well for a full length video staring Edward himself.

Absolutely fantastic. My dad passed away a month ago, TTTE was my whole childhood and I've got a lot of memories with him that come flooding back when I hear the familiar soundtrack. This one brought out a lot of tears, lol I know he'd love to have heard it. Thank you so much, what a magical gift this song is. Keep making music my friend

This is what Edward's theme would have sounded like if it had been in Thomas and the Magic Railroad.
When I was a little kid, my favorite theme in all of Thomas The Tank Engine was Edward’s Theme. Over the course of my life so far I had that song stuck in my head, but couldn’t remember where it was from. This piece brings so many memories back and captures my childhood wonder. I love it so much!
I thought this sounded way to soft until about half way through the video, it really sounds like it belongs as a theme to a movie

A lesser composer would have been tempted to go as loud and as dramatic as possible, particularly at the end of the piece (myself included) but I love that you keep most of this subdued. You haven't just added to the work of Mike O'Donnell and Junior Campbell, you've perfectly captured the essence of the character. Soft and quiet usually, loud and triumphant when he needs to be, but never more than he needs to. Inspires me to write an Edward-centered feature film!
Edward has always been my favorite character in Thomas when my younger brother and I watched the old series, and whenever that kind blue engine would appear, I'd always be happy to hear his theme.
This orchestral arrangement is really beautiful and sounds really pleasing. This has definitely won my seal of approval. ^-^
If they gave Edward a movie, this would have definitely been perfect for the titles. Well done mate.

This absolutely gobsmacked me and I still stay amazed at this masterpiece you've created, everything is right from the calm opening to the main theme blasting with the trumpets with strings in the back is absolutely superb I've looked all your work and I love it all but I love this the most it really hits me home and I love the nostalgia.

Or something like "Edward: The Early Years", if we were going with something along the lines of a story being told, back when the engine was young and new to the railway.
Think something akin to the "Very Old Engines" quadrilogy of books, that were mostly about when Skarloey & Rheneas first came to the island

I see Edward as a fatherly figure to the other engines. I aspire to be like him. He is gentle, he is kind and he is thoughtful. He is also strong and stands up for what is right.
