While John, to late owner of the Ancient Ram Inn was alive those visiting got the same "I've never known anything like this" from him. Later on his younger relatives (nephews?) were always hanging about and a friend went with others on a ghost hunt there in the late 1990s. He had a migraine so stayed in the car parked along the road in the dark. After midnight his headache cleared and he was about to get out of the car to join everyone else when he saw figures on the Inn roof and thought someone was trying to break in. He watched and kept an eye on the time. When the figures cleared off he joined his mates. He was told that they had heard rapping on the walls and thuds in response to questions and they had recorded the times for each and matched the times he had written down for his observations. Another team, the Gloucester Ghost Group (defunct for a couple decades now) also visited the Ram Inn and one of their members also witnessed a person on the roof when asked what they thought was seen "It was not a bloody ghost!" was the response. Be aware.

Paranormal Quest always do this. They do it so the viewers hear what the person in headphones hears, as they hear it. Feel more transparency that way. 👻
I watch every paranormal channel I can find, and the popular ones all ham it up as much as possible, some more, some less, these guys are about 50/50 in the middle, 50% personality and freaking out to make a show, 50% trying to be genuine... Look at my favourite two channels who at least attempt to take things half way seriously, Paranormal Quest who record estes and try and debunk, and Amys Crypt that seem to attempt to ghost hunt in an adult way even though they DON'T record their estes, both of these channels barely grow at all. I think Amy's has grown like 10k in a year and same with Paranormal Quest. Meanwhile channels like Paranormal Files and Twin Paranormal just explode in growth because they make the show about them, and that requires some acting out... which is what gets the views. What is the AGE of the audience of these shows? Maybe a lot of the reason we see ghost hunting the way we do is that the demographics of who is watching prefers characters and acting over authenticity at that age. At least SOMEONE is trying to call out fakers, thanks Beardo. I used to go investigating back in the 00's and 90%+ of our investigations, nothing paranormal happened.

Very good video. I'd like to add about rempods. Rempod was on the table, guy gets activity on his coat, entity moves the table and rempod catches nothing.... Either it proves rempods are useless shite or there was no entity. Same logic about EMF on most of these videos

I've noticed that some fakers who use ghost apps and spirit boxes ask questions but instead of waiting for an answer after the first question they ask more questions. The worst I've seen is Mindseed. If spirits could answer, they would be confused, which question to answer.
I’m going to the ram in July xxx been twice before when John was alive but haven’t really found anything there as yet hence why going back. John had it wired up to the hilt with EMF so was hard to investigate. Xxx

Hey Beardo, i'm so glad you looked into these guys. I've seen their stuff and i've always been a little skeptical. Usually its just Dan and Adam but more recently they have been bringing in guests to appear on their investigations as well, which I personally am not as much of a fan of, the same with sam and colby, i understand why they do it, for views etc, but i much prefer it when it's just the 2 of them because there is (potentially) less chance of manipulation. I thought i would also let you know Adam is actually an actor, he was in hollyoaks and eastenders (minor parts i believe i havent seen it myself). They also live stream all of their investigations via tik tok or facebook (fb if they're paid subscriber investigations) so i think the you tube videos are severely cut/edited to show more of the 'highlights' which definitely disrupts the natural flow watching the investigations back. They also sometimes debunk other investigators so i think theyre singing all the right tunes of being genuine and the guys as people are lovely. I just always get this feeling when i watch their investigations that not everything is completely genuine so i'm pleased you also shared your opinion :)
The number of fingers was probably discussed before they even started - "Don't forget when we do the finger thing, it will be 3" Not one of the things they did in this video proved nor indeed for the most part, disproved anything. In other words, all just one big waste of time. I had never seen any of this channel's videos up till now and I don't think that is going to change anytime soon given what I witnessed today. Just another bunch of kids playing at being paranormal investigators. I wish them all the best and obviously they have a decent fan base, but they are not for me. I want reality not just another form of reality TV.

I had Ghost Tubr and if I remember right at the time maybe it's changed now but before if you used the free version it was 200 words then if you pay I believe $1.99 a month I can't remember the price though but if you select the cheaper price it was 500 words then if you get the full version with like $20 a month it would be 1,200 words. But maybe they changed it. But I do remember seeing that. But great episode. Love it! Thought I would let you know about that ghost tube. I did have success with Ghost Tube one time when I was at the Madison Seminary in Lake County Ohio.

Dowsing rods are supposedly fake. When I worked for an excavation company my boss could walk out in a muddy field and locate stuff, and every time it'd be right. He's find old drain pipes, buried manholes etc.. it was weird.
@michaeld1889 He didn't mess around, time was money etc.. We were digging up these massive fields for new subdivisions. He'd walk out ahead of where we were going and find stuff.
I think a lot of it is due to either lack of information that the user may have or of the area in general. Like if someone was using them for rock hunting the chances of him finding a few good finds in 1 hole are just as likely as me in a hole next to his. Or if you're looking for water on terrain chances are there's a reason you're looking for it in that area in the first place. Can you say it's 100% bs? Well it doesn't hold up in any scientific study. But I think of it like spirituality. It can't be proven but through our life experiences we believe them to be true It's the same with anything people use for ghost hunting. If we say you cant ysr something because of xyz reason then everything you have left is a person standing there talking to himself with nothing

Went to the ram inn last November and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had personal experiences myself, and hubby (seriously sceptical) gave it 6 out of 10 lol. The owner has smartened it up, and they are still doing archeological work on and around the building to form a more accurate history. You will love it ❤️
Just a comment on the dowsing rods.....I purchased a set, and they had a mind of their own, were incredibly accurate, and scared the crap out of me. 😂😂 I haven't used them since. I'm a firm believer, but a skeptic as, yes, they can be manipulated.

Just a thought, and I’m not disagreeing, but with the micro movements, I know when I use the ouija board with my sis, it moves fast and neither of us are conscious of pushing, it feels like we’re being pulled. I went to the ancient ram inn last year for a half night investigation! The only thing that happened was the piano key guard thing slammed shut when the tour guide was making fun of the old owner. I even laid on the bed in the bishops room & was asking the incubus to bring its ass over to me, nowt happened.

Yes, get some dowsing rods! Make sure to get them in copper or brass, these seem to work better in finding water. At the hospital where my husband works, there was an old guy that swore by them to find water pipes. I got a set at a paranormal convention just for fun. The minute I walked over to a sink, or better a toilet, they cross. I could actually feel them pulling! It’s not subtle, they pull perfectly every single time!
Dowsing rods work in the exact same way as an ouija board, the ideomotor effect, you don't know you are doing it. I've tried them, and there is little to no resistance, so they will just swing away regardless of how tightly you hold them. The only way I could surmise to remove the ideomotor effect is to place them in a wooden block on a level surface and observe what happens.
Went to the Ram Inn 3 years ago in the afternoon.... didn't come across any evil or demonic energies....did catch John the previous owner's voice on a video saying "I'm here" and an orb that came through a sofa, hovered in front of my phone camera then left 😂 it was an amazing place 😊
It's not something I would watch unfortunately. I have been to the Ram on a few occasions now and never been overly convinced it's super special. It had a different atmosphere when John was still there but I'm not sure these days. Having said that they have an afternoon investigation going on in a couple of weeks and I'm going to that to try and see if anything happens during daylight hours. I'm not convinced night time is anymore active than the daytime, and would like to experiment with that some more.

They’re very money orientated. You have to pay to watch their livestreams which I suppose they’ve got to make an income but they’re already getting enough from views and gifts etc. Typical good looking social media boys that have gotten a big following and milking it for all they can. I’d say they’re about as trustworthy as really haunted.
At least this group isn't being thrown around the room, or the paper on the table isn't bursting on fire. Divining rods do work IF held properly but need to be aware where you are. It will be be triggered if there are water pipes, electrical wires. .

Great video. Defo your debunking is on the nail. I've noticed that some fakers who use ghost apps and spirit boxes ask questions but instead of waiting for an answer after the first question they ask more questions. The worst I've seen is Mindseed. If spirits could answer, they would be confused, which question to answer.

Hey Beardo, i'm so glad you looked into these guys. I've seen their stuff and i've always been a little skeptical. Usually its just Dan and Adam but more recently they have been bringing in guests to appear on their investigations as well, which I personally am not as much of a fan of, the same with sam and colby, i understand why they do it, for views etc, but i much prefer it when it's just the 2 of them because there is (potentially) less chance of manipulation. I thought i would also let you know Adam is actually an actor, he was in hollyoaks and eastenders (minor parts i believe i havent seen it myself). They also live stream all of their investigations via tik tok or facebook (fb if they're paid subscriber investigations) so i think the you tube videos are severely cut/edited to show more of the 'highlights' which definitely disrupts the natural flow watching the investigations back. They also sometimes debunk other investigators so i think theyre singing all the right tunes of being genuine and the guys as people are lovely. I just always get this feeling when i watch their investigations that not everything is completely genuine so i'm pleased you also shared your opinion :)

The number of fingers was probably discussed before they even started - "Don't forget when we do the finger thing, it will be 3" Not one of the things they did in this video proved nor indeed for the most part, disproved anything. In other words, all just one big waste of time. I had never seen any of this channel's videos up till now and I don't think that is going to change anytime soon given what I witnessed today. Just another bunch of kids playing at being paranormal investigators. I wish them all the best and obviously they have a decent fan base, but they are not for me. I want reality not just another form of reality TV.

I had Ghost Tubr and if I remember right at the time maybe it's changed now but before if you used the free version it was 200 words then if you pay I believe $1.99 a month I can't remember the price though but if you select the cheaper price it was 500 words then if you get the full version with like $20 a month it would be 1,200 words. But maybe they changed it. But I do remember seeing that. But great episode. Love it! Thought I would let you know about that ghost tube. I did have success with Ghost Tube one time when I was at the Madison Seminary in Lake County Ohio.

Dowsing rods are supposedly fake. When I worked for an excavation company my boss could walk out in a muddy field and locate stuff, and every time it'd be right. He's find old drain pipes, buried manholes etc.. it was weird.
What was his personality like? He could have just been pranking/messing with you all?
@michaeld1889 He didn't mess around, time was money etc.. We were digging up these massive fields for new subdivisions. He'd walk out ahead of where we were going and find stuff.
I think a lot of it is due to either lack of information that the user may have or of the area in general. Like if someone was using them for rock hunting the chances of him finding a few good finds in 1 hole are just as likely as me in a hole next to his. Or if you're looking for water on terrain chances are there's a reason you're looking for it in that area in the first place.
Can you say it's 100% bs? Well it doesn't hold up in any scientific study. But I think of it like spirituality. It can't be proven but through our life experiences we believe them to be true
It's the same with anything people use for ghost hunting. If we say you cant ysr something because of xyz reason then everything you have left is a person standing there talking to himself with nothing

Went to the ram inn last November and thoroughly enjoyed it. Had personal experiences myself, and hubby (seriously sceptical) gave it 6 out of 10 lol. The owner has smartened it up, and they are still doing archeological work on and around the building to form a more accurate history. You will love it ❤️

Just a comment on the dowsing rods.....I purchased a set, and they had a mind of their own, were incredibly accurate, and scared the crap out of me. 😂😂 I haven't used them since. I'm a firm believer, but a skeptic as, yes, they can be manipulated.
I concur I have some and they are accurate.. but like most things are vulnerable to manipulation if needed..

And there’s really no excuse for not adding the raw as an option for people that want it. There is also no limit to what you can upload to CZcams, so add edited and raw. People may even find something they missed!

Just a thought, and I’m not disagreeing, but with the micro movements, I know when I use the ouija board with my sis, it moves fast and neither of us are conscious of pushing, it feels like we’re being pulled. Never tried the rods cuz .. what’s the point really, but I’m assuming it’s similar. He may be moving it on purpose but I’m sure there’s times people aren’t. I think getting a set to debunk would be a fun video!

I went to the ancient ram inn last year for a half night investigation! The only thing that happened was the piano key guard thing slammed shut when the tour guide was making fun of the old owner. I even laid on the bed in the bishops room & was asking the incubus to bring its ass over to me, nowt happened.

Yes, get some dowsing rods! Make sure to get them in copper or brass, these seem to work better in finding water. At the hospital where my husband works, there was an old guy that swore by them to find water pipes. I got a set at a paranormal convention just for fun. The minute I walked over to a sink, or better a toilet, they cross. I could actually feel them pulling! It’s not subtle, they pull perfectly every single time!
Dowsing rods work in the exact same way as an ouija board, the ideomotor effect, you don't know you are doing it. I've tried them, and there is little to no resistance, so they will just swing away regardless of how tightly you hold them. The only way I could surmise to remove the ideomotor effect is to place them in a wooden block on a level surface and observe what happens.

Went to the Ram Inn 3 years ago in the afternoon.... didn't come across any evil or demonic energies....did catch John the previous owner's voice on a video saying "I'm here" and an orb that came through a sofa, hovered in front of my phone camera then left 😂 it was an amazing place 😊

It's not something I would watch unfortunately. I have been to the Ram on a few occasions now and never been overly convinced it's super special. It had a different atmosphere when John was still there but I'm not sure these days. Having said that they have an afternoon investigation going on in a couple of weeks and I'm going to that to try and see if anything happens during daylight hours. I'm not convinced night time is anymore active than the daytime, and would like to experiment with that some more.

They’re very money orientated. You have to pay to watch their livestreams which I suppose they’ve got to make an income but they’re already getting enough from views and gifts etc. Typical good looking social media boys that have gotten a big following and milking it for all they can.
I’d say they’re about as trustworthy as really haunted.
At least this group isn't being thrown around the room, or the paper on the table isn't bursting on fire. Divining rods do work IF held properly but need to be aware where you are. It will be be triggered if there are water pipes, electrical wires. .
