also personally for season 16 i would've put the "body" lip sync cause it's more memorable to me (or stuff that was more controversial, like plasma's elimination or one of the plane jane vs amanda tori meating fights)

@@isurehopeitdoes I loved Plasma in the season but anyone who thinks that elimination is somehow controversial is deranged. She did by far the worst of anyone in that challenge and Queen of Flips destroyed her in that lip sync.
I'm surprised the Roxxy wig reveal/ bus stop moment didn't make the season 5 list
True, I think of that way more than Malambo #1. I didn't like Roxxy on the show, one sided edit and all that, but she was a fierce ass competitor and THAT moment felt like they were gearing up for a winner story
Yeah, and the whole 'we get to choose our family' part was very impactful as well.

Violet’s premiere reveal was robbed of the title honestly. I knew about that moment even before knowing about drag race 😭
edit: i feel like Daytona Winds should have been at least nominated, it’s one of the first top 2 episodes in drag race herstory
I think Violet's death look was better than Trixie's elimination.
Better, perhaps, but tbh Trixie's elimination was integral in setting her up as one of the major fan favourites of the franchise which is ultimately what helped catapult her to the huge platform she has now (along with her endless hard work)
My favourite Season 6 moment was literally anything involving Bianca, but especially her asking Trinity "What do you do successfully? Quickly." Cracked me right up.

The most iconic moment on S7 for me is Kennedy’s death becomes her look explanation - never gets old
Honorable mentions IMHO:
Season 7: "Katya, may I please have a sip of water?" (basically production admitting they f'd up)
Season 8: Kimonogate (the first time the show had to repeat a runway)
Season 9: Lady GaGa entering the workroom (a sign of how far the show made it)
Season 10: Miss Vaaaaaaaaaaanjie (seriously, how did this not make the list)
Season 11: "Meh"
Season 12: Look over there!
Season 13: Utica's roast being both intentionally ("Please, stand up for us!") and unintentionally hilarious ("You're the one bombing!")
Also S5: the wig reveal!
The ANETRA vs MARCIA lip-sync is the only thing I remember from Season 15.
I also remember to walk that fucking duck.

Yes for All Stars, and predicting that the Mirror Face-Crack and Phi Phi and Alyssa's fight right after is the most defining moment of the season (especially because the entire first half was building up to that moment). Honestly, the entire episode is iconic from start to finish, because it also includes the Shut up and Drive lip sync.
I think Jackfed was correct when he said that was the perfect episode. Hindsight being what it is I can empathize with Jeremi's frustration in that moment but it felt like pure catharsis when Alyssa appeared in that mirror
Season 9: Every defining moment was about Valentina. Let’s be real.. everyone knows where they were when Valentina was eliminated, when Aja vs. Valentina & when the reunion aired and Valentina won Miss Congeniality. She’s the true fan favorite

Season 8 should’ve been Chichi’s lipsync. It is known.

I will always remember Season 14 for chocolate twist. It’s literally became a meme. And also this twist reminds how long this season was. So this twist is my definitive moment for Season 14.
I genuenly expected to see Raja's Marie Antoinnete runway for season 3, also the "It's chocolate" from season 14, the Boss B lip sync on season 15, and Plasma's elimination/tiktok lip sync on season 16

Season 6 is so difficult, I would even say that Bianca entrance being shady to everyone was incredible too
I feel like the slumber party photoshoot doesn't get enough credit either, maybe because it didn't involve everyone, but it gave us a great peak at the queen's personalities

17:23 The butterfly lip-sync being the most defining moment on Season 10 feels correct to me, only because it was so shocking to see a powerhouse and potential winner flop so hard. It’s like the opposite of the Sasha Velour lip-sync when one of the front runners didn’t end up in that final 2 lip-sync on her own accord.
September, October and November are my favorite months of the year. I think it's the sun so low to the horizon and the quality of the light. Plus the glorious colors of drag Mother Nature always decks herself in.
For 15, I would have included and chosen Anetra vs Marcia x3. And for 16, idk probably something with Plane and her many fights.

I feel like theres kind of an issue with making this a voteable poll, i went through half the video thinking it was about what moment defined the season, then thinking it was about what was most iconic in the season, then back to what defined the season. Without a proper definition on what you would consider most “defining”, most people would probably just pick what they thought was most iconic rather than looking at the season in its entirety, which is what you see for some of the latter seasons top voted choice.

I fully agree with the list except for the last 3 seasons lol. s14 i would’ve nominated Lady Camden’s fall reveal. s15 I would’ve nominated Anetra vs Marcia lip sync, although I still think Anetra’s talent show would win. I’m really surprised Nymphia’s tie look wasn’t even in the running for s16, I feel like it’s way more iconic than any of the options there lol
The Season 7 moments all being from the first five episodes is wild when we also have Kennedy’s game-changing Snatch Game performance or the final episode (where the editors tanked Ginger’s win equity because production wanted to crown a young fashion queen).
Several people have mentioned it but Roxxxy’s wig reveal to me was more of a moment than the Malambo No. 1 lip-sync. Especially knowing in post that the original song was supposed to be Free Your Mind - it’s clear Jinkx was their choice to win. Roxxxy’s wig reveal set the bar for lip-sync reveals until Sasha shattered the reveal glass ceiling. But Roxxxy is still known for that moment today (and the wig reveal is still GIF-ed and memed to death).
What kind of background are we thinking? Purple and black with spiders or bats or pumpkins would slay

The erasure of Miss Vanjie from Season 10 is criminal. Literally referenced every episode at least once that entire season, and they even showed a close up of her reaction during #ButterflyGate
This has me wanting to do a list of my top 5 moments from every season. Also I feel like if you do all stars you should list more moments on the questionnaire but only talk about the top 3 or 4 for the video.
