I recently did the same job on mine. The only thing I would say, it is always wise, to remove old threadlock. A Brass wire brush does the job and then I just run the bolt back in to clean the thread. I didnt have any trouble with reflectors getting in the way....was this HD fitting kit ?

That's great thank you for the reply. Stupid question but I've never bought anything from abroad and there's no option for uk pounds only foreign currency. Can't even work out how much they are.. How much were they and how did you pay given there isn't a English option? Thank you 😁

Go to shop at the top of their page and choose bike manufacturer, choose bike model then choose the part you want and press Select option. You then get the option of choosing currency and choose EURO and type of coating (black gloss or matt paint or chrome). Then just add to basket. The price I just came up with including shipping is 108.75 euro. I paid with PayPal but any credit card will then convert to £. Hope that helps mate. Oh and no didn't pay import tax. I have ordered a few things from Europe and it looks like if its under around £100 then no tax and when the guards are converted Im sure it will be less then £100. Let me know how you get on

Hi Mario, It isn't a Harley part. I bought it from MOTEA in Germany part number A020562-0 & yes it needs a docking kit. Harley do a luggage rack without the backrest www.harley-davidson.com/gb/en/shop/HoldFast-Two-Up-Luggage-Rack-Gloss-Black/p/50300137 Hope that is of some help
