    I bought the same sissy bar, kinda disappointing you have to buy the extra hardware, $80 CDN, like Harley didn’t know. Oh well I use it to secure my luggage. As for a back rest, I’m gonna buy a head rest from a scrap yard and convert it. Great video, see you on the road.

    LOVE the different camera angles in the opening! You nailed it. 👍🏻 Great video and so cool that you threw a mail call in there. Your locker is looking awesome and will soon have a Geared Raven sticker to add to it! They’re on the way from the printer!🙌🏻

    Installed my sissy bar using your video as a guide. Made everything much easier! One weird thing is I didn't have a flat side with my front docking hardware. However, it seems pretty snug. Maybe something changed from the 2018 to the 2019? Keep up the great work. I am enjoying the photos from Route 66 very much!

    How important is it to clean the old loctite off the threads of the bolt and the female mount? The instructions seem to indicate this must be done.

    @johnnyrailroad6921 Před 5 lety +1

    I like your videos. They are nicely done. You have some experience in making videos no doubt. On this one I like how you did an edit to snap your fingers to go to the left side of the bike. How do you do that?

    So easy to pop it on? Nothing else holding it fast? Does the saddle bags go out further after this install or the same length? Thanks for the great vid!

    • @DCyclemoto
      @DCyclemoto  Před 4 lety +1

      Yeah its a breeze. Just the latches holding it on and its on solid. Its minimal if it really makes the bags stick out any further (you won’t notice).

    Was your sissy bar bent at all when you too it out of the box, as in had to strong arm it at all to have it fit on the motorcycle?

  • @reddog907
    @reddog907 Před 5 lety +1

    How do you like the back brake pedal ? I swapped mine out from a Fat Bob , the angle is lower and with the old one I always felt like my foot was trapped underneath the pedal. With the fat bob I just slide my toe over saves about 3 seconds and less ankle strain.

    • @DCyclemoto
      @DCyclemoto  Před 5 lety +1

      Rob No complaints with any of the foot controls. I do plan to go more custom with them so I will be swapping them out.

    • @DCyclemoto

    Any suggestions? Been looking for a quick release tall sissy bar (would love it to be around 30" give or take) for my 2018 HD Sport Glide. I love the look and functionality, but all the spots I've looked, the sturdy ones are short with back pads, and the tall ones say that they are pretty much for aesthetic purpose only. Thanks in advance.
