After spending the past month or so in the USA, @Shmee150 is briefly back at base and excited to take the McLaren Senna out for a run now all of it's issues have been fixed. Along with that, we've got a few cars leaving @TheShmuseum and the GT500 needs to be connected to a CTEK smart charger.
First up, the E500 is being collected by its new owner after spending a good few months at The Shmuseum. Tom's quite upset about it going but it's served us really well on many occasions. Straight after that our long-term loan CUPRA Born is also collected, another car that has genuinely been amazing for everything we've used it for.
It's been pretty much one year since Tim last drove the McLaren Senna in full working order, which seems like the perfect opportunity to take it out for a spin as it's spent the last week having new dampers fitted at McLaren Hatfield. What a crazy machine it is.
To end the day, we're installing o-rings to the battery on the most recent arrival, the Shelby GT500, so we can connect it up to a CTEK CS ONE smart charger.

This channel has such a chill vibe, i skip main channel video sometimes but never here. Even tim feels more relaxed here

Must be a reassurance to have staff look after your cars while traveling. The staff also seem to be very into cars. In particular, I liked the Napoleon Dynamite glasses on the Senna passenger. They look antique and fashioned in a British sort of way. I digress.

The Shmuseum Great Video I'm glad Tim made it home safe and got to enjoy a Drive in his Senna for the first time in a year before leaving for Dubai and I'm so sorry to hear that his Old E500 and the Kupra Born are no longer part of the channel

The new GT3RS is begging to be a Shmeemobile. The Aero alone is amazing and totally adjustable suspension by a button. With a amazing spec, we would love to see one very soon in the garage. Its a Special Car

Think the project cars are a good thing. Love the fact that the guys are getting so involved in them, and creating content on here even when shmee is away on his travels. .
My dad had a 1987 911 in carrera for 25 years. He got a big bill for a service one year (bigger than expected for the service) - the mot was done at same time. The mechanic my dad used talked him through the bill as usual, had a good chat - he asked if my dad had bought another car or been away as he’d only done 1,000 miles compared to his normal 5,000 a year. That was the reason for the bill - stuff not working so well as it had been rested too much! My dad said it had a bit of a personality and always sounded grumpy if he had left it a few weeks!
The Merc looked fantastic.
Hope the Senna is ready for some more tracktime in 2023.

If you get another 1/18 Scale Model of the Mustang GT500, then that model will have the Gumball livery. I remember how awesome those models look when you picked up your other senna.

I am short listing the E-Class Estate. From what I have gathered, other the Volvo V90 (wich is otherwise less spacious) has a wider loading width between the rear wheels. And it does look lovely.
Older Merc interior look 'eh to me, but there might be a spec out there that works for me. The new ones are reallllly nice.
The Senna is out for a nice drive, Tim and Brad are lucky enough to be along for the ride. 😂

29:00 just wondering can you use Ctek EV charger for SF90 or does it have special ferrari connector so you must use its own charger. because if you can use EV charger for the ferrari it woud brobally make sens because those mobile connectors tend to wear out and brake faster if you use them daily.
Given that you mentioned the 1M, I would love to hear Tim's opinion about the legendary E60 M5, is it a contender for the V10 spot in the collection? Love your work and videos guys!

When did you replace the battery on the GT500? I’m pretty sure a NAPA battery is not OEM on a ford.

Unfortunately parts issues are prevalent with all cars these days. My wife's 68 plate Vauxhall went in for repair after she had a very minor accident in the snow earlier in the year and her car was off the road for weeks due to a single part being on back order.
I ordered a new car in January, it's now mid November and I'm still waiting to hear it's even on its way, then I'll still have to wait a month or more once it arrives in the country. It's one if the best selling cars in the UK too. The automotive industry is shite at the moment.

it makes me so curious how this was decided and what the deciding factor was and also how much they actually saved or not. i know ppl who would not buy a car, cos of simple and small things like this.
i get just as triggered as Shmee, also by all that super impractical touch stuff, and i LOVE tech and gadgets, but only when it makes something more useful, more interesting or more fun, without making it worse.
Shmee, Taycan GTS, Turbo or Turbo S Sport Turismo? Other than being the Sport Turismo, it also has lots of updated features and tech and more range, as i am sure you know already :) Its a beautiful estate imo.
