How how much. Thanks
what is your asking price !?!
When did you sell it in for how much?
The build quality was not do amazing back in 68 according to Duntov's complaining to Bill Mitchell about the numerous issues with the 68!!
There WAS no build qualitt in the 1968 C3 !!!
I had one, roadster just like this one, but with slippery black leather seats, a flimsy center arm rest,
One could hardly call the interior "quality" ! !
But I agree, stunning design from every angle.
The door handles worked from 69 onwards, and they found some Stingray badges to tell you what it was !!!!!
What really sent shockwave through GM was when one of the magazines, think it was Car and Driver, refused to test the new 68 Vette they were given. They cited over 20 defects with the car and said it was literally falling apart and for safety reasons, they refused to drive it and boy, did that get everyone's attention. Things gradually did get better but the 68 never really got over this initial bad reputation.
No more than Duntov hating the C2s design. And.
