GoldSphere - First Playthrough: Part 1 (No Commentary)

- I just learned about this mod recently. People have been praising it up and down for the most part. I was just going to watch a playthrough of it but most of the videos that have already been made were not my style. Too much talking, erratic gameplay, skipping dialogue etc.
So I guess I just had to see it for myself.
I'm going to try to keep the gameplay immersive as possible as I always do in my STALKER playthroughs.
(I did know that you had to take the meds in the beginning and I saw people die over and over again if they ran to the right, so I thought I would try left. Lo and behold it worked first try! Other than that I am 100% blind)

What a coincidence, I just started playing this mod yesterday. And I am about to leave the cordon to the garbage.
Nice, man! Enjoy. With STALKER 2 dropping soon I think alot of people are getting hyped and returning to the old STALKERS quick. I myself am playing GAMMA, Goldsphere, Vector of Alienation, STALCRAFT and a bit of Stay Out atm.
why is everything different? i mean i recognize the cordon and rookie village but wheres sidorovich wolf and nimble?
Goldsphere is an overhaul mod. The entire story is different and a lot of things have been moved or changed. They modeled it after the book "Roadside Picnic" more so than the original STALKER games.
i was also wondering this as well, no "real" guns, or rookie stalker village, etc etc
This is happening in 2008, wayyy before Sidorovich entered the zone and before most of the paramilitant factions Existed. Most people in the zone are just Regular stalkers trying to make a living and Explore the place
Is this a new version? I played Gold Sphere before and visuals looks like Mysery
Yes, this is a different engine. "OGSR". The old one is "OGSE". This means better graphics, more stability and it can utilize better hardware.
This mod is stand alone?
